You will get there eventually. It might even be this year (2025). If the Bills do beat the Chiefs, but I'll be disappointed but happy for the Bills. Better them than the Ravens. Hopefully, though, the Chiefs will win and go on to be the first team to three-peat in the Super Bowl era.
The greatest Divisional round weekend in NFL postseason history (2021) was capped with this classic. The other three matchups (CIN v. TEN, SF v. GB, LA vs. TB) all ended in walkoff field goals at the buzzer; this match ALSO had a walkoff field goal at the buzzer…to send it to overtime. All part of a madness beginning the last two minutes of regulation. Awesome memories etched into NFL lore. 🥹
45 goddamn seconds to hold off the Rams, and Todd Bowels let Kupp run free uncovered in the middle of the field. Shit never changes, still letting it happen now. God awful DC and HC. Thanks for bringing it up 🤣😭
That Bills team was legit! That Kansas city team should've beaten Cincinnati in the AFC championship! They gave that game away. Really should've been a 4 peat when you think of it!
Well, it didn't help that the Bengals defense in the 2nd half of the Chiefs game looked like the 2001 Ravens. Tee Higgins and Jamarr Chase were making circus catches, too. I was thoroughly annoyed after they lost to the Rams in the Super Bowl. It's like you can play such stout defense against the Chiefs in the 2nd half of the AFC Championship Game, but can't beat the Rams in the Super Bowl!!!!!!!?????? I guess it really was a coincidence.
@@ybkid6513yep. Really the only time in his career he’s done that. And no the Super Bowl doesn’t count. That was the worst offensive line performance in NFL history (yes, this is a fact not hyperbole; highest pressure rate ever allowed in a football game, regular season or playoffs).
@@thatstheway2429Yeah chiefs vs buccs was crazy because the chiefs were missing multiple of their best defensive players, and their catchers had butter fingers all game, so mahomes was getting sacked and sandwiched all game and those guys were trying to injury mahomes. I was just a wee little lad when this game was played. Now I get to tell this story of the greatest back-and-forth game of all time to my grandkids. How time flies!
This is the difference between Josh and Lamar Jackson. I always see Ravens fans shit talk Josh and bring up Lamar's 2 MVPs. The reason Josh is a better QB is that the Bills lose in the playoffs every year in spite of Josh's amazing performances. The Bills defense always finds a way to let the offense down. For the Ravens, their D shows up and Lamar is average at best. He has a passer rating of like 75 in the playoffs with the same number of TDs and INTs. Josh has a playoff passer rating of around 100 with 21 touchdowns and 4 interceptions. If Josh had John Harbaugh and the Ravens D from last last year I think they beat the Chiefs and probably the 49ers.
Even knowing the outcome this was so stressful to watch! I didn't remember all the missed kicks by Butker. Also noticed the comment that the Chiefs weren't good in 1-score games. Flash forward to 2024 and all the 1-score game wins.
@@jaytaylor629 49 ended cuz of the worst playcall inside the 5 with multiple downs of all time. 51 ended cuz the losing team fell asleep in the last 40 minutes. both overrated af. super bowls 42 and 52 are better than this game tho
Sean McDermott is the man to blame for letting Tyler Bass kick the ball off into the endzone for a touchback instead of kicking the ball into the field of play to kill more seconds off the clock!
Him and Frazier. Had he made Bass squib it and they don’t play prevent defense with Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce on the field, the Bills win. It was so simple.
They gained 44 yards in 10 seconds on 2 plays. With a squib kick, they would need 50+ yards in about 6 or 7 seconds, maybe less depending on a bouncing football. At any rate, there's going to be time for just one play, even with a time out. Can't believe McDermott couldn't figure that out. In that situation, I'll take my chances with a squib 100 out of 100 times, especially with a trip to the AFC Championship on the line.
With a squib, anything can happen. Especially with quick guys like Hill and Hardman. A bad bounce from the squib and it's over. The Prevent D on the next play was the real issue here. It allowed the quick release on the pass. If Mahomes had to go thru his reads, more time would have passed

GB, LA vs. TB) all ended in walkoff field goals at the buzzer; this match ALSO had a walkoff field goal at the buzzer…to send it to overtime. All part of a madness beginning the last two minutes of regulation.
Awesome memories etched into NFL lore. 🥹
My Chargers got eliminated in week 18 🤧
As a packers fan, I’m still trying to forget that weekend ever happened.
2003 was the greatest imo
45 goddamn seconds to hold off the Rams, and Todd Bowels let Kupp run free uncovered in the middle of the field. Shit never changes, still letting it happen now. God awful DC and HC. Thanks for bringing it up 🤣😭
The fact that Buffalo had that great game won and blew it is absolutely mind boggling
To be fair this is buffalo we’re talking about
@@sports3117 the offense had a good game, the defense was terrible all game.
@@AlucardMMmind you the defense was #1 in the league that year
@ & the pats were #2 and they got blown off the week before. It just didn’t matter
They ain’t blow nothing pat mahomes just got the ball first in ot
I WAS THERE!
RUN IT BACK BABY 3PEAT!
That Bills team was legit! That Kansas city team should've beaten Cincinnati in the AFC championship! They gave that game away. Really should've been a 4 peat when you think of it!
4peat isn’t off the table just yet, so long the defense stays elite after this season it’s possible.
@@bro987mahomes just choked
@@ybkid6513yep. Really the only time in his career he’s done that.
And no the Super Bowl doesn’t count. That was the worst offensive line performance in NFL history (yes, this is a fact not hyperbole; highest pressure rate ever allowed in a football game, regular season or playoffs).
@@thatstheway2429Yeah chiefs vs buccs was crazy because the chiefs were missing multiple of their best defensive players, and their catchers had butter fingers all game, so mahomes was getting sacked and sandwiched all game and those guys were trying to injury mahomes. It was like pat was the only guy playing on his team cause the defense wasn't there and the offense wasn't there, and he still had the most insane incomplete pass ever with that dive throw that was all arm and hit the dude perfect but the guy couldn't catch it, yikes.
This was a game I’ll never forget. I was rooting hard for the Bills because I’m a Broncos fan and the Bills are my 2nd team. I’ll never forget the pain I felt and my team wasn’t even playing. But looking back on it this game was unforgettable a game I’ll will tell my kids about one day. But the Bills will not get denied this year in 2024.
Do it kelce, do it kelce 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️
It was definitely one of those "Imagine being a Bills fan" games.
This game was a throwback before it was even finished. Don’t forget this game changed the NFL rules for the every season after.
As a chiefs fan I watch the last 2 minutes of this game every day
One of the best games ever
I was just a wee little lad when this game was played. Now I get to tell this story of the greatest back-and-forth game of all time to my grandkids. How time flies!
You know most Chiefs fans have sympathy for Buffalo however you guys did break our hearts quite a few times in the 90s
The catch , the Drive , 13 seconds and the music city miracle
Unfortunately Buffalo was on the losing end of two of the greatest playoff games.
Patrick in the playoffs running is truly ridiculous
This game was crazy 🔥🔥
Watching this live was utter insanity
The title is true. This was the greatest game I've ever watched.
The epitome of the Josh Allen era. Delivers in the biggest moment... and then I remember its the Bills😢
@@lo17107Lamar is still better
Still one of the best games I've ever witnessed!!
After this they changed the overtime rules but ain't wanna change it when it was pats against chiefs in 2018
Even knowing the outcome this was so stressful to watch! I didn't remember all the missed kicks by Butker. Also noticed the comment that the Chiefs weren't good in 1-score games. Flash forward to 2024 and all the 1-score game wins.
I had totally forgotten about Butker missing the kicks as well! Crazy.
Best game I ever watched 😭
I was at this game. The lead changes were crazy. Historic game.
This showing up in my feed tonight of all nights is pretty devious, youtube
That route by Kelce on the last play was dirty. He went out and then in, and the ball was thrown to the outside. The db had no chance.
This the classic game that patrick mahome becomee the grimm reaper!!! Will go down in the nfl history
Also i miss Frank. Some disliked that trade but The Shark was clutch we he needed to be.
still get chills watching this game
My favorite part was the Bills celebrating like they won.
A lot of people call 13 the "unlucky number" but the chiefs wont let that happen
The bills vs chiefs 2021 afc div round game one of the greatest playoffs game I ever saw on tv
Greatest game I ever witnessed
Enough time has passed we're allowed to say this is the best game EVER.
No chiefs vs rams?
@@Revco.1 if that was a playoff game then maybe
I said that after the game was over, and I had no real dog in the fight (though I WAS pulling for Buffalo)
sorry but Super Bowls 49, 51, and 42 all beat this game by a mile.
@@jaytaylor629 49 ended cuz of the worst playcall inside the 5 with multiple downs of all time. 51 ended cuz the losing team fell asleep in the last 40 minutes. both overrated af. super bowls 42 and 52 are better than this game tho
As a new NFL fan, this was the game that brought me in
Same
I still feel the pain.
Michael Jordan of football! Never out of a game!
@@dereksmaszcz It's called prevent defense for a reason, it prevents you from winning, not to mention never ever call tails, tails always fails.
Yup, squib kick and they win, or would they?
Thanks for this. Forgot how good this game was
This being a 'Throwback' makes me feel old and I'm only 23! 😂
I'm only 20 and I feel old
One of the most exciting game ever seen!!!! History!
Josh Allen cried like a beesh ninja!! 😂😂😂and I loved it!!
BILLS FANS LOOK AWAY
No.
Even as a Bills fan, we must watch.
It hurts, but it's also beautiful.
I don't think I will ever see a greater game, but the first Super Bowl vs SF was damn close.
It’s so funny looking back on that that buffalo thought the game was over😂😂😂
Top 5 game in NFL history
The best! #1
It's almost been three years since this infamous game. Time really does move fast, huh?
