With 3 seconds on the clock, i think Romo said, "oh my gosh, im so nervous!" I love Jim Nantz and Tony Romo calling games together. Romo has such admiration for Mahomes and Allen. Romo's uncanny ability to predict certain plays is amazing, he knows the rulebook, and he knows what teams should do in different situations. Jim Nantz does well himself. Thank you CBS for letting theses 3 just enjoy the end of the game! "Only Mahomes can score in 13 seconds," said Romo. The genuineness is much appreciated Coach Romo.
This was clearly the greatest playoff weekend ever in NFL history. This game was the greatest NFL game I've ever watched, perhaps the most satisfying sports watching experience ever. What a finish!
I don't know if it's the best weekend of football ever, but it's definitely the best weekend of football I can remember. My memory sucks though so it's possible (albeit unlikely) that there's been a better slate of games.
I could not believe this game I was watching. Tony Romo said it the best about the 2 QBs, 'It is as if the same guy is playing for both sides'. Allen and Mahomes have mad crazy skills.
Bro they were putting footage of the Bills family members on screen.... You KNOW they thought it was over. I have still never seen an ending to a game this good. This is an all timer.
I was stoked my Chiefs won. In Mahomes we trust. It was one of the best games of all time, and the best QB duel of all time. It was a privilege to have watched such a game. But this game did make me think about the overtime rule. I used to think the rule was fair, thinking, if the defense can’t stop a TD they deserve to lose. But as soon as we went to OT, I realized whichever team won the toss, was going to win the game. Mahomes and Allen were playing out of their minds, and neither defense could stop the other QB. So it made me think, “Is it fair that Allen and the Bills didn’t get a chance to tie us, just because we won the coin toss?” “How would I have felt if the Bills had won the toss, scored TD and Mahomes wasn’t given the chance to tie?” I would have felt like the Chiefs had been robbed. In my opinion the rule isn’t fair and should be replaced. Either the other team should get a chance to tie it up. And if they do, then from there on out, a 2 point conversion is mandatory when scoring a TD. Or they should adopt College OT rules. What do you guys think?
I keep remembering a Bills fan holding up a sign that said; “We don’t talk about Mahomes” after the Bills took the lead near the end! As soon as we win it, the first thought? I’ll bet they’re talking about him now😊.
I watched this in a nursing home with my Mom. Win or lose it was a gift to watch that game with her before she is gone, and the Chiefs gave us another gift next week. Even when she's gone in a couple of months or so, I will always have that memory with my Mom. First time I've ever heard cheers coming up and down the hallway in a nursing home too. #Chiefs #Kingdom
Very sorry to hear that Joe. I lost my mom in March and it’s been incredibly tough. I’m thankful she got to see the Super Bowl win in 2020, and I’ll cherish the Mahomes and Hill jerseys she bought me the last 2 Super Bowls. I hope we get 2 more wins for you and your mom! Best wishes
My dad was a huge Duke fan. He was in the hospital and was able to watch Duke play one night. Doc's wanted to start a fentanyl drip but he told them to wait until after the game so he could watch because once they did that, it was only a matter of hours before he'd pass. They waited, Duke won and he let them start it. He passed the next morning. I think he was satisfied having watched the team he loved play one more time.
As a Chiefs fan, nothing but respect for Allen & the Bills tonight. Absolutely incredible game. I hope Allen & Mahomes both stay healthy and give us great football games for years to come.
I've been watching the NFL all my life... almost 40 years of football and this was the greatest game I've ever seen. One team officially won, but both teams are winners.
@@jrad410 Sometimes, in athletics, the effort you put out is so impressive or inspiring that you gain fans, or prestige, or respect from your “losing effort”. In this game, the Bills went home, but they showed the world that they were an incredible team with elite players with big hearts. People won’t remember who won the Super Bowl 20 years from now, but they will remember this game being incredible. If you don’t understand that… you clearly don’t know anything about sports.
I was there in the stadium with my friends. From start to finish the whole atmosphere was electric! When the Bills scored and there was only 13 seconds remaining you did see a lot of the Chiefs fans pause and begin to waver. A few had even accepted defeat and started to leave. My friends and I talked about it and we decided to have faith that maybe somehow some way a miracle would happen and so we stuck through it to the end. Our faith was rewarded in the most incredible way possible. Nobody in that stadium and at home could have possibly predicted what would happen next. We were all in shock and awe at what we had witnessed. One of the greatest football games of all time and hands down the greatest one I have ever been to! I have been watching football for over 55 years. I’ve seen a lot of good games, I’ve seen games won and lost in the final seconds. I’ve watched a lot of tremendous players. But this Has to be one of the best games I’ve seen in a long time. I wanted Kansas City to win but Josh Allen is a great quarterback and deserves kudos for what he did for his team.
Such a great competition, this is on a similar level of Brady Manning games. Maybe the Chiefs dynasty peaks this year, but the Bills Mafia take over the next three to five years!

I really hope the Bills and Chiefs meet up again this year in the postseason. I missed having that matchup last year. I know the Bengals are probably a bigger rival to the Chiefs but Allen and Mahomes’ superhero like play styles just makes for must-see TV every time.
The greatest football game of all time was the Patriots amazing come-back against the FALCONS IN SB 51, when the Patriots scored 31 points in about 20 miniutes. Be blessed, John Kinsey
Never during a superbowl did i ever get up and run around the same way I did during the last 2 minutes of this game. Long time bills fan from a Bills family and I genuinely witnessed the best game of my life with my wife. Truly amazing!
KC fan here. The Bills fans have got to be some of the most sportsmanlike fans out there. The game by itself was absolutely stunning on both sides for both teams. I’m with you, if it had gone the other way and the chiefs had lost, it still would’ve been the best game I’ve ever seen. Seriously huge respect for Allen and the Bills. This game will for sure go down in history as one of the greatest ever played. Amazing experience.
I cannot believe what I’ve just watched. This is the craziest ending to a game ever. Allen and Mahomes should be very proud of themselves. Absolute ballers
This game gotta go down as one of the greatest playoff games in history.. those last 3 minutes had me goin crazy and I aint even a fan of either team but Josh Allen deserves respect as an Elite quarterback now
I forgot how the announcers basically called it for the Bills and how the Bills were giving hugs and basically acting like they won when there was 13 seconds left lol. This game was insane.
I remember Josh’s dad was smiling and hugging and bam here comes a comeback in 13 seconds I mean unreal It was a heartbreak for Bills but they did manage to get decades of the overtime rule to be changed or at least I think they were the ones 🤔 I mean I know there were talks of it many times through the years
My sister kept texting me and then after the Hill TD "OMG, Congrats to KC" with like a minute left." I wanted to text "Please don't jinx this." Still too much time. And then I couldn't believe when I looked at my phone and it was like Buffalo just scored with 13 seconds left. I was thinking you have got to be kidding? lol
I was at that game drove 17 hours for it. Boy was it a heartbreaking loss. I'll never be at another game this good for the rest of my life. It was an electric atmosphere!

But much respect to the Bills and their fans. I’m looking forward to the next 10+ years of this intradivisional rivalry.
Totally agreed, Chiefs have been on the wrong side of overtime in the playoffs as well, exact thing happened in 2018. Change the overtime rules so it's not just whomever got the ball last.
It's so stupid, give the other team a chance to even it up atleast? It should work like bball ot, at the end of the ot period who ever has more points wins. Not that difficult
I was watching this in Spain and my friends were asking the whole game what was going on. During this section, they became Chiefs fans. No one asked questions and everyone cheered for our guys. I’ll never forget this night as we did the chop while we were walking home

Both QB’s were absolutely amazing. Probably the best QB duel I have ever scene. No turnovers and very few penalties the entire game as well. Almost a perfect game, all around. Another underrated performance, no one is mentioning: the refs. They made all the right calls, nothing controversial at all during this absolutely insane final few minutes. I have seen way too many great games that were ruined by a bad call in the final few seconds. These refs were on point. Good for them.
I had no rooting interest in this unbelievable classic but the defensive holding penalty on the Bills that set up Chiefs’ first TD was very ticky-tack………but on the whole, the refs were quite good.
@Bob Langford, check out Chiefs/Rams from 2019 or 18. Mahomes and Goff basically trading punches. 2nd or 3rd highest scoring game in NFL history. Also Rams/Saints from same year.
Hands down, The Best Playoff Game EVER. Both Mahomes & Allen were ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL. Bills have nothing to hang their heads about. Last guy to have the Ball WINS. WOW WHAT A CONTEST. I think I need to see a Cardiologist..😳
I just rewatched this video twice in a row, because I couldn't believe how incredible this game was. I have no words to describe how insane this game ended..WOW.. JUST WOWWW...
Literally happened just a few years ago against the Chiefs vs Patriots AFCCG. Mahomes didn't get a chance to touch the ball, owners didn't care to change it in offseason. Brought it up after this one, passes easily.
My dad was a avid football fan. He took me to see the Winnipeg Blue bombers when I was 6 years old. Then we moved to KC and he went to every home game, even at standing room only. He loved our KC Superbowl win with Len Dawson and passed away before he could see the elevation of Patrick Mahomes and he would be totally proud of our team today. He would have been throwing pillows at us kids and yelling to the top of his lungs Go Chief's. He would agree with everyone who said, "Today was the greatest show on earth." Respect to Josh Allen, but that last 13 seconds and then OT. WOW! Dad, I hope you saw this from Heaven!
Same here! I wish my dad was alive to see this game! He passed away in January 2020 on the day the Chiefs came back from that large deficit to beat Texans. He was the biggest Chiefs fan I have ever knew. He never got to see the greatness that they are now, and they won the Super Bowl on his birthday that year. My love for the Chiefs is all thanks to him!

This was the best game to end the weekend of the other 3 previous games that were also nailbiters. It's crazy how leaving "13 seconds" left on the clock is considered alot of time against the Chiefs. Allen played a hell of a game, as a football fan in general I feel bad for him and Davis broke the record for most caught TD receptions (4) in a playoff game. Mahomes is a beast and that offense like Hill turned on the burners when it was needed. This game was crazy good!
Well for some reason the best defense in the league was using the worst defensive scheme at that point in the game, but not complaining since i always like OT games in situations like this. But if KC didn't miss an extra point and field goal then they would have already had the lead and it would have never even gone to OT, but i definitely don't mind all the drama!!
This was one of the best games I’ve seen in recent history. I think a big part of this is that the refs didn’t call a flag on every single freaking play. This is what happens when the 2 teams are just allowed to play football.
Yes you are rite; " let em play" like Patrick maHomes later said before he snapped and went on the meltdown!! That's why Mahomes became so pi**ed off when their victory was snatched out of their hands!! Let em play.
My group of friends were down and out before KC got the ball with :13 left, and one of them stood up and simply said “…we have Patrick” One of the 10 best NFL games ever. Hands down.
That's how it was as a Patriots fan for 20 years. It's so nice when you have those QBs that you know you can rely on no matter what. What's not so nice is when you get used to having that and then, they don't play forever. Both these teams should be enjoying Mahomes and Allen while they've got them
Yeah, you have to have Mahomes and Allen because both defenses were horrible! The Chiefs defense allowed Gabriel Davis to have 4 TDs. Gabriel Davis man! We're not talking about Calvin Johnson. Not Megatron! We're talking about Gabriel Davis. Not Megatron, man. Not Megatron. We're talking about Gabriel Davis!
I have a number of great memories with my dad at KSU games as a kid. Trust me, they'll mean as much to him as they do to you. What a treat to be there for that one. =)
My dad and I don't watch football often. But I was just realizing the gratitude I felt today for being able to watch the last half of this one with him.. Amazing game truly...
19:10 is amazing. "Do it Kelce, do it, do it Kelce" you can hear Mahomes yelling it before the snap. Before the play was called Kelce said he was gonna run his own route regardless of what play was called. He said he was just gonna run to the open field since they were playing soft. Mahomes read the defense and told him to do it. Back yard football with the game on the line. Incredible!
I heard this too! Absolutely something you'll hear replayed over and over throughout history. 30 for 30 in 10 years replaying these highlights and that call at the line.
It’s over there’s no beating this team as long as they stay healthy enough to have a decent showing unlike last year in the super bowl when there oline was a clown show. That level of chemistry and ice water running through your veins from ALL your superstars is just unbeatable. That Mahomes, Hill, Kelce trio will go down as the greatest in nfl history passing aikman, Smith, Irving in my opinion.

2023 and it is still funny to me that the commentators and the Bills team, family, coaches all acted like it was over before Mahomes took a snap at :13 sec 🤣🤣🤣
What an absolute classic! Both quarterbacks were making unbelievable throws. That side armed sling from Mahomes was a thing of beauty! It’s too bad Allen didn’t have the chance to respond in overtime. I really think the NFL needs to take a look at that. Either way, congratulations to the Chiefs. And tough luck for the Bills Mafia; there’s nothing to hold your heads low for, as both teams were incredible. Wow, I am just in awe!
Ya I felt the same way when we lost to the patriots in OT. OT needs to be a 5th quarter. Win or lose. And I'm a Chiefs fan. The more football the better!
Dude the NFL def has to look at it. In a game like this where both offenses are scoring at will it's a shame that a coin flip determines the end. Both offenses should get an equal shot in OT. Period.
No they dont. It was up to Bills D to stop that TD. In the old days, a field goal ended the gm. At least the nxt team gets to touch the ball to win. But 1st TD ices it. No other rule change.
Some Bills fans are blaming the overtime rules. Some Chargers fans also blamed the OT rules last month when the Chiefs won during that epic Thursday night game. When the Chiefs lost the AFC Championship game to the Patriots three years ago, the Chiefs proposed a rule where both teams get possession in overtime. Teams voted against the idea. If you hate the rule, blame the teams for not voting for a change.
I hear you on that, but in all honesty, that's what seperated the pros from the collegiate level. When your on the losing side, you wish for changes to give your team a chance, but eventually someone has to lose, weather you have multiple chances or one. They already changed it, from OT field goal on first possession wins it, to the new system. If they don't stop changing it, nothing is going to be set in rules. Soon, you will have to play the whole OT no matter who scores first or a TD! Pros have to be harder, that's why they're pros!
These commentators weren’t really calling the game, they were watching it with us. That’s how great of a game this was.

With 3 seconds on the clock, i think Romo said, "oh my gosh, im so nervous!" I love Jim Nantz and Tony Romo calling games together. Romo has such admiration for Mahomes and Allen. Respect to Josh Allen, but that last 13 seconds and then OT. WOW! Dad, I hope you saw this from Heaven!
Grew up near KC before moving to Saskatchewan. KC was never good when I was a kid. Nice turnaround for the Chiefs and Royals

It is when you give up 40 yards in two plays.
Let this sink in, 25 points in the last 2 minutes.
6:55 100m speed was real.
Hill's speed is unreal. Rarely do you see one player so much faster than the rest of the field.
This was one of the best games I’ve seen in recent history. I think a big part of this is that the refs didn’t call a flag on every single freaking play. This is what happens when the 2 teams are just allowed to play football.
Yeah! I was saying that it was a very clean games. It's more enjoyable when there isn't a flag thrown every other play.
Amen
I agree, normally the refs are calling stupid penalties. Let em play football and these refs did.
well said - couldn't agree more.
Yes you are rite; " let em play" like Patrick maHomes later said before he snapped and went on the meltdown!! That's why Mahomes became so pi**ed off when their victory was snatched out of their hands!! Let em play.
My group of friends were down and out before KC got the ball with :13 left, and one of them stood up and simply said “…we have Patrick”
One of the 10 best NFL games ever. Hands down.
That's how it was as a Patriots fan for 20 years. It's so nice when you have those QBs that you know you can rely on no matter what. What's not so nice is when you get used to having that and then, they don't play forever. Both these teams should be enjoying Mahomes and Allen while they've got them
I started crying and my husband said the same thing. We have Mahomes. I will never doubt again.
Wow bro the way Mahomes threw two wide open passes was insane!
You also have three timeouts
I Was at the game!! Took my 13yo son who LOVES football. So glad I got to share that with him. The greatest game I ever watched!
Damn that's cool making memories with your child that you'll never forgot is great.
Incredible!
🤯🤯
I heard this too! Absolutely something you'll hear replayed over and over throughout history. 30 for 30 in 10 years replaying these highlights and that call at the line.
Changed history
It’s over there’s no beating this team as long as they stay healthy enough to have a decent showing unlike last year in the super bowl when there oline was a clown show. That level of chemistry and ice water running through your veins from ALL your superstars is just unbeatable. That Mahomes, Hill, Kelce trio will go down as the greatest in nfl history passing aikman, Smith, Irving in my opinion.

I used to think the rule was fair, thinking, if the defense can’t stop a TD they deserve to lose.
But as soon as we went to OT, I realized whichever team won the toss, was going to win the game. Mahomes and Allen were playing out of their minds, and neither defense could stop the other QB. So it made me think,
“Is it fair that Allen and the Bills didn’t get a chance to tie us, just because we won the coin toss?” “How would I have felt if the Bills had won the toss, scored TD and Mahomes wasn’t given the chance to tie?” I would have felt like the Chiefs had been robbed.
Ha!
