EliteAlex I agree he really deserved it big time. I almost want to say it is victory Ricciardo style because he made few great moves and was at the right place at the right time and took total advantage of that. What stroke me tho was the maturity in this race he has shown. It wasn't like Mexico last year where he was eager to show everyone how much of advantage he can have over rest of field and was risking a lot. Here it was Hamilton/Vettel like control. He kept them Ferraris 5 seconds behind all the time and just didn't let them come close till the end. Absolute 10/10 driving from young Verstappen this weekend.

Andrew Behrend, have to agree with you there. The Honda engine is still a little unreliable, but so is the Renault engine.
The Honda engine is decently fast, still not top notch, but i think by 2021 it'll be one of the best on the grid. Red Bull are looking at the long term rather than short term. I mean, 2 years of these engines versus at least 4 years of the next gen of engines? Maybe more than 4 years? Good idea if you ask me. And Renault have a history of struggling with regulation changes.

Can't understand all these people saying that Max is the same and that suddenly all the haters are quiet... Look at his race, no useless risk, no suicidal overtake. Just agressive enough during the start, and not too much, no crashes. No extreme attack that would have destroyed the tyre. Clever race. He has improved, and this win is well deserved after such a drive. Amazing race, good driving from Kimi too, and what a move from Vettel on Hamilton... To my opinion, best race so far, even if it was kind of sad that the 2 Mercedes were not able to fight until the end.

He has literally said in interviews though that he has not changed his driving whatsoever, and that he's doing nothing different than in the first couple of races. I would argue that he was just kind of unlucky that he made a couple mistakes in close succession, causing him to receive a ton of criticism regarding his driving style all of a sudden, even though he has been racing like this in every season.

    • @karanick016greece2

Kévin Paradis Well the only "flaws" I see in Verstappen is that he feels like if someone passes him it's the end of the world and that he is too impatient. He has undeniable talent but he has to know when to attack and when to let other cars pass him. Oh and by the way today he didn't have to overtake anyone except from the start or play defense so of course he couldn't fuck up his race. Other than that yeah he did a pretty good job managing his race lead.

Nice race from Verstappen but don’t forget that Max touched the rear left of Kimi to overtake him. Just a race incident but I’m sure Max could do that cleaner

do you really think they give same engines to force india and williams and tell them all secrects to have 100% power

dejan rasovic There is a debate out now, that Renault is giving Red Bull a worse version of their new spec engine, while the rules have set that a manufactor have to send out the same enginge to every 3rd party company, doesnt matter if there exists a homemade Team like Scuderia Ferrari, or Mercedes AMG.
Most of the time all the cars may have the same top speed, but if a ferrari has a better chassis than sauber for example they probably have more corner exit traction, better torgue as an result and thats the reason why they look "faster".
And on the other side it depends on the setup as a reason of different Top Speed.
Otherwise Mercedes shouldnt have a problem on giving Red Bull for example their engine if it is even worse.

the thing is that Bottas is getting way more bad luck than Hamilton in recent races. Mercedes had a bad yesterday, but already last sunday Bottas got his race hindered because of an external factor
