That was the most elegant way to sing "punkass" ever.
JustErics101 you can’t get mad at yo lady if she hits you with that punkassss
@@spikelee6521 I must agree with you Mr. Perez; it's that kind of punkass that would be most effective in helping manage one's anger.
Indeed it was
Super classy!
The type of woman to shove poop back up your butt after you go.
Ok this is gorgeous, but I thought hearing 'I got something for his punk ass" sung so beautifully was hysterical
Ethan Rummel that's my fiance's favorite part of this cover.
you've got yourself a wonderful fiancé then :)
I thought so too. That sort of thing is actually a tradition ska and older swing/jazz bands have in common- hiding dark or vulgar lyrics in bouncy, happy-sounding music. It's one more cool little detail that makes these vintage covers work so well for me.
I'm with you on that! I laughed out loud when I heard it the first time.
I laughed out loud at that part because of how adorable it was. Such a highlight.
Scott: "I put these rugs down so you guys won't scratch my new floors"
Natalie: "I'm gunna step off the rug and dance around for a minute".
Directly in front of the drummer as well.
Is it just me, or do all of PMJ videos give you goosebumps? Just pure, raw, soulful singing talent! Beautiful!
It's just you, idiot.
Natalie's voice is pure excellence and she's so stunning!
>Sublime cover
>video length: 4 minutes 20 seconds
Yep, everything checks out.
dogbite 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
dogbite lmao
I bet Bradley would love this! RIP Bradley Nowell
a late gift for Brad , RIP
the greatest ever!! period!
He would love it if it were heroin
Yeah bruv
No but he'd be nice about it
Her voice is ideal for this arrangement.
I felt no angst listening to this song, in fact it was sublime!
Pan Darius Kairos well said, brother..
Really enjoying this cover! I like PMJ covers where the lyric content and music style clash heavily like this the most.
Nick Brick Just like the Kid Rock one!
Me too
Post mortem juice box
Im confused, should I be smoking a joint while playing hacky sack, or drinking gin in a speak easy?
You got four limbs, dummy
Both
If you cant choose one always take a bit of both.🙌🌲🍺🍻🍸🌲🌲🌲🌲
Drink gin in a speak-easy; it's more novel and potentially sophisticated.
Hacky sack in a speak easy
this is the funniest thing I've heard in a while! pretty voice, pretty arrangement, and violent lyrics. i lol'd from the moment she first said 'heina' all the way through haha
;)
"And I won't think twice to stick that barrel straight down Sancho's throat!"
I'm going to be honest I think it's cool getting to see some chicks say these lyrics, they don't usually get to engage in that kind of catharsis. - In general, I mean. Too much expectation of prim and proper
Gotta remember the song is about a pedophile
She had me at heina as well!
@@AreeyaKKC You thinking of "Wrong Way"...?
I was onstage at a convention called Fantasm back in Atlanta in 2005, decked out in a top hat and tails when I sang the first few lines of this song in this style, because I always felt it would lend itself so well to it. Mind you, I'm no musical genius, so it was just a half-formed idea I kinda tossed out there. Words cannot express how happy I am to see that y'all covered it in just that style! Thank you all for the wonders and joy that you bring, from a faithful fan who has every one of your albums!
Would love a 'The Man who sold the World' cover. (Maybe with Haley Reinhart or Morgan James)
This must be done.
AtholAnderson anything with haley
I vote Haley :)
Yes, please!
Morgan please
PMJ, growing up in SOCAL and listening to Sublime as a young teen during their rise. You guys made their song proud!
I'm incredibly happy to see Natalie Angst back again. Just Like Heaven is one of my all time favourite PMJ arrangements. Look forward to hearing Natalie's liquid gold vocals again here in future.
Oh look there goes my mind floating by in the wind...Blown away by this video!
I'm a die hard sublime fan... and I must say. This is an excellent cover. Bradley would have indeed loved this. Well done. Very well done
Gorgeous singer with an awe inspiring voice, fantastic band with an amazing trumpet+bass solo.. perfection all around. Top 5 PMJ right off the bat.
Oh my god, my soul is crying tears of joy right now. I've been listening to all of these where has this been, where the hell have I been? I need MUCH more of all of this.
I agree
Along with last week's tune, the BEST vocal performance for a while. Excellent stuff.
Actually Cold Water was brilliant as well.
She's back! I love her voice.
To all of the musicians in the vocalist, that was nothing short of awesome! The instrumentation was amazing, and the setting was just right. Great work.
Not only is the music good, but the presentation is off the wall.
This is a song that cried out for the PMJ treatment. Just perfect.
Her voice is so pretty, it reminds me of a Disney princess.
I love the mixes these guys get on these performances. Everything is present, cuts through perfectly for the timbre of the instruments and no muddled, jumbled muck. And that’s through my truck stereo. I bet this is awesome on an upper end stereo.
Lowkey gave me goosebumps makes me miss this kind of music and she’s such a good singer and the music sounds good af
Float on by Modest Mouse.
Aaron Reining yes please!
Yes!!!
Aaron Reining yes!!!! cool name BTW!
Aaron Reining yes!!!! cool name BTW!
ANYTHING FROM MODEST MOUSE WOULD BE AWESOME, TURNING PUNK INTO A VINTAGE STYLE YUUUUUUUUUUUUS
I've been waiting for this one. And boy, was it worth the wait.
This makes me so happy to be alive & able to experience this beauty. Thank you!
This is what I love! Upbeat singing and music playing despite the theme or lyrics. Thank you!
Santeria would sound AMAZING in the style of 1920s Al Jolson.
3:13 was the lyric i was waiting for... nice delivery
The lyrics vs the arrangement and her innocent delivery make this video one of my favorites, nicely done! A genuine lol watching this.
Every cover is an amazing surprise! I'm so addicted to PMJ! Love you, guys! Keep up the quality! Congrats!
Lots of love from Brazil!
thank you PMJ for enunciating the lyrics so I can actually understand them 👌
Love her voice so much!
fantastic. pmj you guys blow me away, you take songs i have no interest in and make me a fan. you take songs ive listened to all my life and breathe new life into them with a retro throwback style. it was like hearing santeria for the first time again. id love to hear more ska/punk/reggae music thrown into a big band style, but im honestly looking forward to any new jams you guys put out (including maybe some original songs?!?!) you guys have mad talent cant wait for whats next.
Love love LOVE PMJ! The return of the style, the mood and attitude with a modern twist is just the best. :)
PMJ can sing my physics textbook and make it sound amazing.
this is a chill and laid back cover i love it
This is the best genre and style of all their music
we need your music more then ever. Thank you for your music and art
Beautiful and talented, the same could be said about that bass player tho :P
agree 100%
that bass player is everything- though I sometimes miss good old Adam undressing you with his eyes....
Ciclopea2 the bass player is working harder for sure. this bass line is brutal and I like it hehe
Waylon O'Conner That bass line doesn't look too hard.
For me, its tough but bass is my second language
Bloody hell!!! THAT is one beautiful lady! Haven't started the video that I'm already sold! :D
One of my favorite 90s songs. You guys nailed it.
number 1 on the list of covers that i never fucking expected to exist
well, there were a few sections that seemed a bit less polished, but then there were others that were absolutely breathtaking! very much a fan of this rendition!
Love this singer!!! For me, she's one of the best in PMJB family!!! I was waiting to a new song with her and it is perfect!! Thanks!!!
Amazing. Love this style/era of music.
I shouted "THEY DID SUBLIME!" at 2AM when I read the title xD
Please do What I Got though :')
I WAS WAITING FOR THIS, THANK YOU GUYS
Para reír y llorar...!!! Hermosa versión!!!! Es mi canción favorita, la oigo casi todos los días!!! Bradley estaría encantado!!!
I love pmj and Scott bradlee you're amazing
Natalie, I was so taken with your rendition of Just Like Heaven, I had to search you out. I think you're simply devine I was so taken with your work with GMO ... you've won me over as a huge fan. I pray these PMJ collaborations keep coming. Much Love!
I believe it
@@AlexDewareWalker Sadly I've lost touch with Natalie Angst, so thanks for the comment. It made me revisit many of Natalie's performances and see what she's up to today.
The Man Who Sold the World or Space Oddity would be awesome covers to see!
I do like the way Natalie handles this. Not to mention she's beautiful and impishly, intelligently expressive.
All of these are so amazing. I love you guys!!!
A cover for “Lovesong” by the cure would be great
She's so georgeous omg
Her velvet dress is gorgeous 😍
Yes! Sublime is one of my all time favorites and I've been waiting for something like this. Good job and thanks!

One of my fave songs from my teen years! Love your cover of it!
I swear I was just saying "I wish pmj did a sublime song!" Thanks for reading my mind.
Many of PMJ's covers are pretty sublime ;P
I love that dress! I wonder where it was purchased from, it is so beautiful!
cindyl00wh00 It looks like the "Gilda" dress from Pinup Girl Clothing!
1amaznmom thank you!
Funny. A similar comment was made by someone else in Natalie Angst's first PMJ appearance (see "Just like heaven" video). I think she replied saying that she wore her prom dress for that performance. Evidently her fashion sense is well liked.
i think hailey and robin's dresses are also pretty amazing too.
Great cover of this song! Like all in PMJ , incredible voice and awesome band. Great drummer ! Love the sound of those drums !!
LOVE IT! Awesome arrangement as usual. Natalie is excellent!
hey I recommended this a long time ago glad to see it happen!
beautiful performance!
Well, this is the classiest that song has ever sounded, that's for sure
Perfect, spot on. I got chills.
I'd love to hear Smiths cover
1:46am perfect to sleep na! Philippines

Wow, she has an amazing voice. Really awesome. So many thumbs up!
I think this song has the best instrumentals of any PMJ production.
Nothing else Matters cover please
Master of puppets !
ENTER SANDMAN!
Juan Ruvalcaba please yess!!
they have now. its awesome
omg yess
Natalieyeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaah!!!!!!!!!
Can't get this song out of my head! Well done!
God I love songs like this. Laying down the law with just enough class to be upbeat and emotionally dismissive but just enough gruff to make it a promise. A lethal promise.
In response to California's prop 64 hahaha.
Ian Temple Yes. Bradley would've been really stoked to see what we've done so far here in California
I would marry this woman in a heart beat and not look back.
I'm obsessed with this cover!
Natalie is so amazing, like all PMJ singers!
Where do you get all these singers?
You guys should definitely cover You Were Meant for Me by Jewel! It would sound amazing!
LOVE IT LOVE IT ❤
Ohhhhh!!! My favorite singer! I've been hoping you'd come back. Love your voice--this turned my bad day around :) Thanks!
Wait, is her name really "Angst"?! Great singing btw, and hope to see more songs with her.
Shankar Sivarajan Agreed, I love Miss Angst
idk but in German it means fear :)
In English, Angst means a feeling similar to anxiety and dread
Nicole Rusche but generally used to mean anguish, typically in teenagers.
Nope, speeking from a German point of view (even though you find "anguish = angst", too) and putting it into an emotional context you would rather use fear or anxiety for "Angst" and anguish for "Qual". But the reference to teenagers is correct. :D
That bass player is ver good looking aha!
The boys like to watch PMJ videos to admire a double bass player called Georgia Weber!
Natalie Angst is still the best name for a singer ever 😍 😍 😍
Whooooa! You gotta just love this!
4:20 time stamp on the thumbnail ;-) Brad Lee would be proud.
mr. jones, bullet with butterfly wings, man in the box, paralyzer, somebody told me
one of my favorite songs in the entire world, and have always said, I don't care, I want it played at my wedding and this is the perfect version for it lmao kidding not kidding 😩😩
lord I love sublime and I am so happy that you nailed this song!
wow, I never realized what the actual lyrics were before *blinks*
