One of the highlights of our 2015 European tour was Haley Reinhart's masterful interpretation of our vintage arrangement of Radiohead's "Creep" (originally performed on this channel by the amazing Karen Marie). I enjoyed it so much that I brought Haley into a studio in Zurich on our day off to record it. If you haven't heard Haley sing this before, get ready for a truly remarkable performance. Oh yeah- and this was the very first take.

Thanks for that link. It's the only time I've heard it as a duet, and they make it work so well. It doesna have just the same passion and dramatic high points that Haley has. However, it is very, very good, especially considering how young they are. I prefer it to every other version I've heard apart from Haley's, and I've listened to a lot of them by now. It was so very, very good.

The way Haley Reinhart sings this always makes me end up in a train wreck of emotions. In 5 minutes I feel like I went through a ten year relationship that ended in tragedy. I have never felt so happy, in love, mad, sad, and betrayed at the very same time. PostmodernJukebox and Haley Reinhart put this together absolutely perfect.

I always liked this song. But, my ex introduced me to this cover. She used to sing when she was younger. She practiced this version for weeks to get it right. And I loved her voice. Then she surprised me on our anniversary, by taking me to a bar after dinner. She acted surprised that they had karaoke. And she killed it. ❤ Then she sang "Killing Me Softly" and I realized what she was really practicing for. She was the love of my life. God unfortunately called her home.😞

I regret taking subjects during school that I used to enjoy as hobbies, I wish I kept them as just hobbies so that I still enjoyed them, and I'm sure that's similar to what some people feel when looking back after signing a record deal and feeling controlled. I love how the "most replayed" section is basically the entire song.
I'll admit, when I saw the title I thought, "they're using the term postmodern wrong like everyone else." It was arrogance, I was wrong, this is both brilliant and postmodern. It seems like this song would be ruined by transcending it's alt rock roots, but this is such an amazing cover. I honestly think this is more unique and creative than the original, even though it's a cover. Fucking amazing!

+Gina Szanboti They didn't use the word "postmodern" to describe the way the song would be preformed. Its "Postmodern Juke Box" that's the name of the band she is currently in right now. Its a band that only does covers of pop and rock songs in a very 40's, 50's, 60's, Doo Wop, Swing and many other old fashion styles. I saw them in concert last month and they are AMAZING!!! That band has many members, over 30 and many of them are American Idol contestants from the top 5 from previous years. You should look them up. But am sure you might know all this by now.

so crazy how Haley has captured more than 100 million listeners. I knew she was special since she was on American Idol! CONGRATS on your success!!!
Everyone's commenting on how good Haley's voice is, and rightfully so, but what's seems to be getting lost is how incredible this arrangement is. It the combination of the two that make this a great cover. Such an original take on a great song, with an outstanding performance.

i also don't like haley other stuff to much, only the pmj songs, and they are all great. haley and jazz just is something very very special.

I've just watched him. It's pretty much a copy of Thom Yorke. He does it quite well, and his guitar work seems very good. However, it's nowhere near Haley's rendition. Nor is Radiohead's as far as I'm concerned. However, I never heard them, or even of them when they were famous so I came to both of these cold, so to speak. I came across this, saw it was a cover and played the original to see the difference. And wow! What a difference!
