i feel like this is becoming sm’s stamp by now! exo also had an alien theme that later turned into a galactic war theme, nct has a tech-punk e-boy theme, and reve has an eerie doll theme. i love these slightly unsettling undertones in their concepts. and the non-human aspect gives them so much room for exploration and creativity. sm might be a shitty company but they snatch the best artists and put them in the best concept groups for sure!
