Can someone seriously hire her to sing the opening song for the next James Bond movie?
Brilliant idea!
Only if they want a BOX OFFICE SMASH!
You are genius!
Yessss pleaseeee!
Cool dude...Nice idea
Hello, Everyone!!!! Thank you so much for all of your kind and genuine comments!!! I'm so grateful for each and every one of you!
Thank you to Scott, and all the amazing crew who made this video the rootinest tootinest it could be. Love y'all.
See you in Europe, Australia and New Zealand!

Eu que agradeço. Estou encantado com sua performance. Tudo nessa versão é perfeito. Fico escutando sem parar. E fico na esperança de vê-los ao vivo aqui no Brasil!
Oh dear ! This is so gently powerful. Love it!
You knocked it out of the park, the praise is well earned!
Thank YOU for sharing your voice with us - you sound amazing!
I love how much restraint the singer has. Most singers with a voice of that calibre feel the need to riff and show off. A truly remarkable talent
Over-singing has become a real curse
True - there's another PMJ singer who really does overdo it - it's her style. It sounds good until you hear Effie.
@@roytee3127who?
@@emely1810 Who? I'd rather not say because I don't want to get too personal. Let's just say that she's really good at overdoing it, so I really can't complain.
@@roytee3127🤡
Saw her in concert in Canberra Australia singing this plus Hallelujah and Creep. People were moved to tears and she got two standing ovations. I have never before felt a voice fill every space in an entire theatre. If you ever get the chance to see her live, do it, you won't regret it.
Thank you so much! I’m glad that you enjoyed so much. Can’t wait to come back to Australia
can attest! I never thought I'd hear a better Hallelujah after KD but...
Saw her in Melbourne... Was literally breathless and can confirm that people were moved to tears. I cried like a baby when she sang 'Hallelujah'.
Her voice is phenomenal and vibrates right through you
Saw her in Nashville also at the Ryman. Breathtaking performances...
@@francescapassero8454the performance in Utrecht was just magical. Thank you so much for all the joy you bring ❤
'Moulin Rouge' Tango? Morricone 'Spaghetti Western' Overture? You decide what style this is.
There's only one thing we are certain about: Effie Passero is one of the great singers of our time!
Tango? Morricone? I say it's both. The first ~half clearly sounded like tango to me. But once Mike came in on trumpet the vibe totally changed to Morricone. What an interesting arrangement! Well done.
Stylishly beautiful 😍
What about Burlesque? I can see Dita Von Teese dancing to it.
with a pinch of surf rock
And a splash of Bond theme -- it's very cinematic! Just fantastic; what a singer Ms. Passero is.
The voice, the instrumentals, the dress, the wonderfully arranged scene - I'm amazed.
Yes, but the dress, dammmnn, even I, a man want to dress it
@Caio no shame in that, go for it! I think men in feminine clothes look gorgeous.
@@Diana-lh6cl I'm just kidding bcuz the dress is awesome, but thanks for the support ♥️
Hold up let me get a closer look at the dress
Yes
Saw PMJ in Dublin last night and Effie Passero literally had people in the audience weeping with her rendition of Hallelujah. Explosive standing ovation afterwards. AMAZING VOICE!
Oh pish I can make people weep with my rendition of Halleluja too.
But no chance I'd get a standing ovation lmao. Maybe they'd hurl tomatoes at me. 😅
My goodness, beautiful voice. She sounds like a Bond singer.
Even better
This is so lush and Effie's voice is breathtaking!
I'd LOVE to hear what you could do with this song, Whitney!
I was not expecting the raspy belting after the operatic vibrato-ness. Wow. Many arrows, all of them deadly.
Whitney! You should do a song with PostModern Jukebox lol. That would be wicked cool to see!
Her voice is simply spectacular and so is everyone elses' amazing performance. Can't get enough of this!
😊
She’s amazing! Holy heck!
Ok. Vccfr yg dr yg dr yg hu Chu see CT by see no on CT
yes!
I've heard a LOT of KISS covers in my life, and I've *never* heard anything like this. Amazing!
At first I thought, this ain't no spaghetti western vibe. Then the trumpet hit and the rest is history.
That is the most cowboy trumpet I've ever heard in my life
This could be the anchor track for a major motion picture!!
Outstanding arrangement, with excellent division and mesh between the various voices and instruments.
And Effie absolutely nailed it.
Perfect.
Too bad Gene Simmons would sue
Somebody show this to QT. He'll use it.
James Bond will return in 'The Scarlet Mark.'
If the ever make a new Mask Of Zorro they should use this!!!
Am I the only one who feels like there could be a Quentin Tarantino movie written just for this? Because that's where I went while listening to it, most especially when the trumpet came in.
Coming from someone that has been listening to kiss since I was a child. This has to be one of the greatest covers I've ever heard. This is absolutely magnificent and has been added to my regular playlist
i second that
same! my dad loves kiss and i grew up listening to them. this is magical.
I've been listening to hard rock and metal since the 80s too, but I found this song overly pompous as performed by Kiss.
I think the PMJ version is better than the original. They take the over the top bombast away, and the song works better that way.
@@rabiatorthegreat6163 Nope i must disagree. without original PMJ wouldn't have their version. i feel ya with other music where copy out does original, but for me this one stays as-is 👍
@@rabiatorthegreat6163 if you knew anything about kiss you'd know that the whole point of that band and their shows was to be overly pompous, but I did say this was one of the best covers I've ever heard
Saw her with PMJ last night. Simply one of the most sublime voices I have ever heard. She did Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah and I don’t think a single member of the audience didn’t have goosebumps.
So happy you got to experience it live!
She sounds like Mama Cass OMGGG unreal 😻😻😻
Dear God, that woman's voice is fan-freaking-tastic!
This went from a sultry burlesque song to an opera, to a western soundtrack and I'm obsessed 😍
Idk who arranged it but the trumpet twinning her vocals made me shiver. It actually popped a reflexive tear or two out of my eye. Delicious!!
I had the same tear.... Glad I wasn't the only one.
Me, too ❤
Scott Bradlee arranged it ;)
I got goosebumps!
Spaghetti and Morricone.
The amount of times i had to replay this was...a lot. OUTSTANDING vocals and OUTSTANDING vocal range
Замечательное исполнение! Огонь! :) А дуэт с трубой - это просто потрясающая находка :) Огромное спасибо!
That trumpet/vox duet, so gorgeous.
reminds me of Herb Alpert!
Definitely brings that spaghetti western moment to life.
First half got my "Like", second half got my heart! As a massive fan of Spaghetti Westerns, the horn and the staccato snare gave me Goosebumps!!!! What a silky voice Effie has!
Same...brilliant trumpet outro.
It had our curiosity. Now it has our attention.
What a great musician's, thanks
And ooh, the duet with the trumpet, spectacular!!!
This part at 2:36 is a gorgeous tribute to the maestro Ennio Morricone and his magnificent theme "Ecstasy of Gold". I love it!
I'm glad someone else caught that!
Effie has an amazing voice really fits the tone of the music, I love these western song absolutely incredible
Wow!!! I did'nt know what Spaghetti Western Style Cover is, Now I see how fantastic it is!!! From South Korea.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The vocal power is ridiculous omg 😳 I got serious chills
But are they multiplying?
@@Matelot123 Oh they most certainly are, and I'm losing control XD
@@SleepyCatSundries Well with the power you're supplying, it's electrifying. 😀
WOW
Never thought you'd hear KISS
Like this in a million years,
I'll Bet Gene & Paul would Tip their Hat to that.
PHENOMENAL.
Paul would. Gene would just want to bang her.
I can’t stop listening. Please have her do more songs. Her voice is just beautiful.
☝🏼THIS
Ennio Morricone like this video 😃
Crazy mix of KISS and The good, the bad and the ugly style music - love it 😍
Wow, I'm speechless, thanks to all of you for this wonderful gift.
This would be a awesome start to a great movie!
WAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! 🍷🍷🥃🥃🥃
This kind of came out of nowhere to be one of the best yet
This song has been waiting it’s whole life for Effie to do this to it.❤️🔥
Effie Passero harmonyzing with the trumpet was freaking amazing!
What a wonderful voice
OH MY GOD!!!! YOOU MADE MY FAVORITE SONG BE EVEN BETTER. WHAT A VOICE! WHAT AN AWESOME ARRANGEMENT!
WOW!!!! Totally took me back to watching cowboy film reruns as a kid. Perfectly arranged and perfectly performed. Standing ovation to all involved!
Took me back to the drive-in with my dad, my Uncle Mutt, and my siblings watching Trinity movies. Good times.
This was EPIC! Giving James Bond theme vibes. OMG, Effie has ALL the pipes!!! Sang it girLLL
The final minutes really feel like something that would play during a final face off in a western.
The harmony between her voice and the trumpet gives me shivers
Loved the original of course and still do, by Kiss, but this is an incredible version. Postmodern Jukebox takes any tune and makes it special, makes it great and love the talented people who are behind it and how you create beautiful arrangements with variety of renditions of popular music in that style of older days. Wonderful. Thank you for sharing your talent.
Kiss and Ennio Morricone. What a combo. Love the trumpet solo too.
I am rapidly becoming obsessed with Effie Passero's voice
I don't know why, but I'm always surprised how great these songs sound when sung in a different genre! Then when I hear them it's totally obvious they also suit jazz or spaghetti western!!
I don't care what genre you call it, Scott and the team are genius at this, and it's helping to warm the winter in Sydney.
G'day from Australia.
О, какой голос! Петь под аккомпанемент трубы - очень смело и круто. Я аж дыхание затаила. Браво!👏💐
Вот как раз труба- было лишнее. Они друг с другом подфальшививают. (это даже не намёк))
Gotta love Russian trolls
@@jeffreyweng9326 😊
Me in first half: Well, geez, this is just great!
Me, when the trumpet shows up, and Effie takes it: WHAT? YES! WHAT?? ALL YES!!
Amazing rendition and ensemble! Effie slays it!!
Why isn't she super famous?! Damn, she's fantistic!
Scott Bradlee's talent to adapt a piece of music into any form he wishes never fails to amaze me.
this sounds almost completely different from the original, she made this song her own & made it more enjoyable & beautiful to listen. bravo 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏❤️
WOW! This was so great! The spaghetti western horn and “ahhhs” were so fun and beautiful! Nailed it again!
As a Kiss fan, I found this version awesome. The voice, tempo, instruments...everything fits it perfectly.
Her vocal transitions are like butter and her tone is so... satiating. I can listen to her sing any genre what an amazing talent!
*a wild Extasy of Gold appears! It uses trumpet! It's supereffective!*
I saw Effie in Ithaca this week. She is the BEST with a powerful hypnotic voice. She won me over when she ditched her heels and came out barefoot.
How the heck does Scott find all this incredible talent?
Deal with the devil. Luckily Satan missed the typo on the contract and Scott owes him his "soup".
Like attracts like, I suppose.
no one is as effortless as effie.... she was like this at 10, lol she's the best in the biz. the absolute best
Hi Shelly! Hope you're doing well!
effie's voice at about 3:10 is amazing, lawrd
Good heavens! I don't always listen to Kiss sing "I Was Made For Loving You," but when I do, Effie Passero belts it, and all my neighbors hear her too. Loud and proud! What glorious ring your voice has, dear lady. Such power and vocal control! Well done...well done!
Oh my gosh, this is just bananas. I am completely in love with this. Effie is an alien, and we are so lucky she landed on this planet. ❤️
I saw her live. Literally brought tears to my eyes it was so moving.
Watching this live blew me away
amazing! I'm sure Stanley and friends would like it too.
F*ck what a ride ! The clin d'œil to "the good, the bad and the ugly" took me by surprise and left me in awe. This cover is art, it's as wholesome as the original song, some might say even better. Bravo !
I only watched to see who this group were because they are coming to town shortly. Now I’m about to book a ticket!
You just turned an awesome rock n roll song into A BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF ARTWORK!!❤❤❤
Good god I can't imagine being able to sing that fricking well whilst in a CORSET. Bravo Effie Passero, you have groundbreaking vocals and are an absolute legend!!
Ohhh, that Morricone vibe set in VERY well!
Bravo!
What a great tribute to Ennio Morricone! He'd be watching this from up above and tell himself "I still rock!". Thanks for this!
Under all of it is Scott. He always seems to create just the right arrangement and find just the right talent to knock it out of the park.
And he's not bad on the piano, either.
This is the correct amount of energy this song needs, this is how it should feel
I was made for loving this song
You were made for singing it
THE VOICE BRO, HER VOICE IS AMAIZING
This may legit be the best thing I have ever heard.
Great job with the song styling. And what an incredibly beautiful voice Effie Passero has!
I've been a KISS fan since I was five, and I LOVE this!
The duet with the trumpet was absolutely breathtaking!
Ein Wunderschöner Song, ideal wenn man gerne tanzt, in diesem Fall Tango. I love it.
The spirit of Morricone is there! Just when I was thinking: but there's a trumpet missing, what appears...? 👌🏼
The way that guitar taps you on the ear about a minute in. Love it. I don't knows the name for this shit - is it production? - but the way in PMJ videos how you can clearly hear every instrument, how they never drown out the voice, everything is just top notch. It makes them so relistenable.
Seriously I need every single song in existence to be covered by PMJ. And Effie is just phenomenal!
Purer Wahnsinn. Zuerst dachte ich, bitte nicht KISS covern. Aber jetzt sage ich...... Wirklich großartig. Ich bin total geflasht. 😮❤
Love the ode to "Ecstasy of gold" in there!
“Well, there are some things a man just can’t run away from!” ~John Wayne~ This cover is that! LOVE it…and…the red socks! 👍💯😉😄
Wonderful. She and orchestra say hi to Ennio Morricone.👏👏👏👏👏♥️♥️♥️♥️🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶❤️
Effie Passero is a songstress of the first degree, with practiced gestures & a voice capable of so much range, such symbiotic exchange to the listener. As they said in the 1940's, "The dame is a class act." Like some Valentino-era odalisque, she is ripe & lush, with an emanating sensuality that, added with that versatile voice, leaves one wishing for more.
The greatest show on earth 🎉
Holy crap, she NAILED this.
Omg this is a masterpiece! Starting from Effie's voice, which is a wonder of nature, and then the whole "spaghetti western" concept, music, costumes... Amazing performance, congrats to all.... P.s. I am in love
I can't get enough of this song! 10/10
She has a beautiful voice
Now i'm imagining Effie singing Knights of the Cydonia and I really want to hear her cover a Muse song with PMJ
Simply stunning. And this comes from a die-hard KISS-fan.
Goosebumps, literally! What a talent 💚
Like the Bond theme we have all been waiting for. She kills it!
It just shows us that a great song can transcend into any musical genre.
I was just blown away by her beautiful voice! What an amazing cover!
