As a The Weeknd fan myself, this is an impressive cover! Totally gave me goosebumps.
Incredible dramatic arrangement and absolutely stunning vocals! This will be a PMJ classic - a remake that completely transforms the original. I can totally imagine this as a theme for a Bond film called “Die For You”
I have never regretted clicking on a single one of their videos. masterpieces, all of them.
This is more than just singing with music here. This is a performance. Everything Tatum does is so controlled to further the meaning, the emotion of this song. The stare, the intentional blinking, the hand movements, the subtle body moments the head turns and not least the vocalisation. It’s all so intentional, I’m left asking “How?” again and again. Absolutely enchanting.
