This man is out of this world.
As a saxophone player, his harmonics gave me nightmares.
What he does while dancing and jumping around without looking tired or breathless...
    Man this is crazy.
I can't even do that while standing still... And he makes it look effortless...
    Just wow.
Since I discovered David Sanborn, he is the biggest shock I've had watching a saxophonist.
    He is changing the game.

@@breitbartsimpson4940 maybe you mean the slur from middle G to the B two octaves above? Yeah, I had perfect intonation on the bari, so it's kinda hard to listen to it in most songs that butcher it, and while this guy isn't great when he's still and slow like at the end, I probably couldn't sound as good while moving.
And two more things people don't point out, while moving that much, your mouth, and your reed, is getting dry, and it'll make it sound worse and is harder to control.
Second, the fact he can hold the thing up while moving like that obviously takes a lot of practice. He's holding the whole thing up with his right hand most the time. The neckstrap helps but not for tone.

@MD-zo7cl I dont know if youve ever seen drumset music before, but overwhelmingly its literally just a scribbled line on each beat which indicates "Improvise." Usually the only noted parts are ritards or syncopated sections. Any jazz drummer knows this very well, its quite rare for there to be actual defined written pieces for drumset. Orchestral percussion is a whole other story, and who knows maybe this percussionist got lucky, but it isn't what happens normally.

Classically trainer saxophonist as well. There are some interesting techniques here but IMO, those large jumps from high to low aren’t super hard on a bari. I mostly see it as gimmicky. He’s got a couple licks but for me they get old quick. And he dances around while doing it and people respond. He may be a very good player, but you can’t tell from this necessarily. I know I sound like sour grapes but I honestly find it repetitive and boring.

@@fowlplayoutdoors68 I hear you , but he's supported himself for years as a working musician, and it's hard for me to criticize anyone who's done that, especially since the pandemic. He originally made a living by busking, and had to develop a style that would catch the attention of people who were busy and not musically educated. And he's opened doors with that, including playing on stage with Beyonce at least once. Is he the Tarrega of saxophone? No. Is he making human-created acoustic music cool in the eyes of the public? Yes.
