Who’s still watching 2024
I'm in Scotland and I'm 72 years old and this is my go to video . Loved the Blues since I was 12 . My favourite genre by a country mile. Hail the Blues.😊
Same with me. I got turned on to the blues by my cousin in Chicago in 1970. I'm 71
U r a true believer... The blues will live forever!
Aaaa Santana!!! The man!
Come on out eta.. The queen!
Oooh lordy.. what these boys can do!!!
I don't understand how anyone could hear this music and not want to get up and dance.
Best harmonica playing ever. Sends the shivers down to my toes. ❤❤❤
I 'm an 80 year old South African...This music so cool🎉.
Peace and joy and love to you all.Willie

*If you are reading this, I wish you a wonderful day. "Please never give up. Although today is hard, tomorrow will be worse, but the day after tomorrow will surely be sunshine"*
Thankyou Man!
Так точно!
John Lee Hooker, yes please
Je suis Algérien et j'ai 53 ans et j'écoute ça depuis mon adolescence🇩🇿🇵🇸🇿🇦🙏
These icons are just playing and having a damn good time doing what they love. This performance is definitely priceless 🎉🎉
Remember those times, didn't matter if the people next to you were black, brown, yellow or green with orange polka dots and three eyes, you were all enjoying the music and having a great time.
Those times still exist thanks to music like this and it still doesn't matter cause we're all enjoying the music and having great times when we can escape the sad realities of the times in the magical vibes of those times!
All I see is the .music playing so so great. .music has no race or creed Thank God for the Blues
Maybe if they played this at the United Nations we might all get along better together.🤗
Preach
What a great combination of diversified, talented musicians, Santana with an old time blues player, more modern blues rock singer and harmonica man=spectacular musical outcome!
John Lee Hooker -- saw him play in a little club in Cotati, CA, just a bar. Stood right in front of him and watched the master at work. Fantastic!! I'll always remember.
Wish I were there...
No way that's literally right outside my hometown (Santa Rosa)
That harmonica was singing them lyrics , It had a soul !
That’s the legendary Paul Buttersfield🔥
Lord, bless my health and grant me the strength to maintain a healthy body and mind. Help me to make choices that honor the body You have given me and to seek healing when I am unwell.
I was a blues baby my dad introduced me to John Lee Hooker and many others and here I am 50 years later still jamming to his music.
Same here! My Grandmother introduced John Lee Hooker "The Waterfront" to me around 5 or 6 and it was, OVER!!!
Who are you? 😊😊😊😊😊😊
BAD TO THE BONE!! THE OLD SCHOOL, THE REAL LEGENDS..
The Blues as the King knew them, were nothing short of pure poetry in motion. BB is gone, SRV is gone, Hell, even Elvis could sing the genre to a different drummer. That's why the Blues are timeless, and limitless, because everyone gets the Blues now and again. A musician /singer/entertainer, always leaves room for another to pick up and pass along the torch. I can't wait to get to Heaven, so that I can meet and greet these ambassadors of good will . Adios
If I am so blessed by God.
There is no Racial Bull$h*T with these guys. Simply playing the Best Music in the whole world!
Am 85 yrs old and i still swing on myn chair

JLH was undoubetedly the coolest man that ever lived.
All the greats are gone! Only memories of them through their extraordinary music collection they have left behind for generations to come!
Sadly so.. but, they've set a bar for the up and coming. To work a little harder.. but this, will never be recreated... Forever etched in our history...
That's the spirit. Lives on forever
Mad respect for someone that can play the harmonica or a trumpet well.
PAUL BUTTERFIELD!!!!

Its what 70's music to a turn was inspired from. Sure was and didn't last long at all.

Absolute legends, they never complained about their situation, they created their own fame the old fashioned way and to this day inspired generations of musicians, to this day their music is still second to none.
Well said I was lucky to be blessed to see all three of these in my lifetime awesome memories from all three..

Thanks for confirming this. I was real sure it was Paul Butterfield, upside down harp and all. Agreed, with all these legends I can't believe they wouldn't have added his name in with all the others.

John Lee Hooker was an American singer-songwriter and musician who is frequently described as the one greatest blues guitarists in history. One of the most authentic practitioners of Mississippi Delta blues, his distinctive baritone explored themes such as depression, poverty, alcohol and promiscuity. Hooker’s primitive but powerfully timeless songs created a huge impact on rhythm and blues and rock ‘n’ roll.

"The blues are the roots and the other musics are the fruits. It's better keeping the roots alive, because it means better fruits from now on. The blues are the roots of all American music. As long as American music survives, so will the blues."
