It's clear the devs are treating the game less seriously now and that it turned from lazy cashgrab to fun, absurdist passion project, which, judging from legacy of these games, is best possible direction it could take

I remember one incident where the developers forgot to trademark the game so someone registered it. Then they just gave it to them.
Imagine making a game so bad that when someone lucks out and gets the chance to make a boatload of money off of it, they full on refuse.
The person never actually filed the trademark either, they addmitted it was just a joke after people began pointing out how long it would have taken to actually apply for a copyright to the time it gets accepted

Ngl this game is my biggest guilty pleasure. I haven't bought or played it myself but I really enjoy watching other people play it. It's just really cool to see people actively doing something they want to do and learning how to do it, which shows in every improved chapter. It's still dumb as hell and not a perfect game but it's improving. I'm a perfectionist who has a really difficult time actually doing things I'd like to do because I wont be good at the beginning, so it's aspirational and helpful to witness someone doing what I struggle with.

@@TheUnwillingPest I am cautiously optimistic about their improvement in game design, but theres a number of irredeemable things about them, like their inability to take criticism, or their history of making school shooter glorifying games. Not to mention, the gameplay is still roblox level.

As someone who joined a mascot horror project that was initially created out of spite for Garten of Banban, this video was… weirdly touching? Like, despite all the flaws of the Banban games (and the primal hatred my boss has for them), I’ve made TONS of connections with people thanks to this game. Even though I’ve become frustrated with the current state of Banban’s story, I’m forever grateful for the opportunities this weird little game gave me. Heck, I even fulfilled my dream of joining a group where everyone works on the same project!
I find that the two most powerful creative forces are love, and spite; good luck with your group and its project!

Garten of Ban Ban is such a fascinating beast to look at in real time. It's actually a record of two amateur game developers growing and improving as people and as game makers.
From a first game that was sloppy, boring, with a barebones plot, and surrounded by the drama of the developers being unable to take any criticism, the games have slowly evolved into decent and varied experiences and the devs have grown into more mature people that can handle and learn from criticism.
The games are no masterpieces by any means, and they are still quite clunky. But the journey of improvement is very clear.
I hope that by the end of the series of games, we get a game that can be called not just decent or respectable, but actually good.
I never disliked BanBan because it was bad (even though it was), I personally disliked BanBan because I thought it was a scam. A way to trick people into paying for a shitty experience. But after watching your videos, and watching the series slowly but steadily evolve, I can say that it was never a scam. This game series is the game development journey of the Euphoric Brothers, and we can see they’re getting better. By the time we get Garten of BanBan XX, it’s going to be an amazing game, horror or not

I don't think people think Banban is that good now, they just appreciate and encourage improvement, even when they are little. I like the little improvements too. Overall, I think Uhyeah dida fine job of addressing this video he didn't overly praise since he was able to get a cameo at the same time offering constructed criticism that can be improved all-around he did a good job with this video keep up the work 👍
I also think the actual designs of the characters have improved, the weird alien guys actually got a lot with the weird veiny colorful art style the other characters have, and the dark bittergiggle design is actually pretty cool with the purple bits and being split in half.
Garten of Banban still goes on due to spite.

So, I'm unaware of why Uhyeah is saying that "Bird Up" being included in Banban 6 is a reference to him. I thought that they included it in the game because of the Eric Andre skit, or did Uhyeah say something about it in regards to Banban before the 6th game?

I have a feeling the whole voice acting thing was a ploy. They placed the meme in to catch UhYeah’s attention and then get him to believe that they “care” for him, although they blocked him and have been scummy from the past. It would gain them popularity and make them look like the good guys.
After you record a voice for a character in BanBan, you'll know you've made it.
