@@vedant.official and that's what I like about them when they actually going for it they can really make some masterpiece movies I know they are inconsistent as hell..but when they really go for it man..they really hit it! If they want to I also like the animation style they had for puss in Boots 2,bad guys etc..and I love the style they are going with this movie aswell that's why DreamWorks is my favourite animation studio because they made sole of my favourite movies despite the inconsistencie they have.. while wild robot is looking to be a good movie I know next year we probably going to have some mediocre movies aswell from DreamWorks so I will enjoy my time and have fun with wild robot and after that I'll brace myself for the worst again...because remember they are still inconsistent.
Just an FYI for those that never read the original book:
Roz DID learn the language that the animals spoke. More accurately, she learned that the animals spoke the same language in different ways. The animals then got actual dialogue.

2024 is the first time DreamWorks Animation releases two computer-animated feature films with fox duteragontists in one year, Zhen a corsac fox in Kung Fu Panda 4 and the red fox in The Wild Robot.
Dreamworks looks like they have knocked it out of the park with this movie and while the studio is sometimes inconsist I feel this movie will be something truly special
Can’t wait for their winning streak with this, Dog Man, and The Bad Guys 2 to end with Gabby’s Dollhouse The Movie yay

I like how throughout the movie Roz’s voice becomes less robotic and more human but you can especially tell, whether or not it was intentional, that at 2:35 she starts talking a but awkwardly but at the end of her sentence it’s full straight human voice acting

@@crimsonghoul8983They do, but in the first book there is little to no human interaction. The second book has the most human interactions, but mostly Roz continues to speak and work with animals. Then the third book is mostly animals. If they make the third book into a movie? It'd be so epic...

My son loves this book. He saw two frames of this trailer across a restaurant and immediately knew it was wild robot and he is so excited. This is the first movie that he is anticipating and wants to see in the theater.
The first thing I noticed was how ROZZUM’s voice isn’t synthesized unlike her robotic siblings, and she starts by speaking robotically but with a human voice, but then speaks like a full-on human by the end

Long hours of voice over acting tends to wane the robotic voice to a more natural human voice. It was not intentional.

This is now one of my top 5 favourite movies ever. It's such an emotional piece and I couldn't stop crying. I will watch this over and over again, and show my future children this movie to help them understand how much a mother's love can help a family survive even the toughest of winters. Amazing movie
Tell me I wasn't the only one hoping for the robot and animals to stay silent for the entire movie. I think that would've made things much more interesting, letting you experience everything without a single word, kinda like Wall-E. Still excited for this one.
You're not the only one. The teaser has to be one of the most powerful teasers I've seen in a while. And the animation without dialogue helped it. This has made me wish they went onto the humans only talking and the robot being silent.
It's based on a book and in the book the animals talked which was essential to the story.

This was my favorite book as a kid. I remember it from read-aloud in school in first grade, and I remember how much awe I felt.

i feel kind of disappointed that they didn't go in a dialogue-less direction, but from some of the comments i see, it's part of the original story, so i'm willing to forgive it. Still, incredibly hyped for this movie

This year has been giving out so many good animation movies with Ultraman Rising, spiderverse and now this. This trailer came out for a month now, and I’ve just discovered it today. There’s probably so many animated movies I’ve missed out on.

This trailer is proof that creativity in the animation industry isn't dead. I have a feeling this film along with Transformers One will challenge the modern industry to change their monetary way of thinking and instead just hire and allow the animation team to come up with more unique storytelling, settings with relatable characters as well as vibrant animation that's unique to the tone of the film.
I don't know if it's just me but the idea of a mute film was really awesome.

@@animo358 no because in the original book the robot does learn to communicate with animals after a bit, so it makes sense that the movie wouldn't have dialogue for the first part but then the robot would learn how to communicate with them.

ehhh, i read the book when i was younger, so ill admit i have a bias against things like this, but i sincerely dont think this is fitting, i don’t expect the movie to be like the book (like at all tbh, look at what they did to httyd), and i definitely expect way more humor, but this is a bit of an extreme, that i just dont picture happening in any version of the story. Y’all need to chill out about the robot and animals talking, it’s accurate to the book and the story is great. Give it a chance

I got hope from this movie to be success in The Box Office for two reasons:
1. Chris Sanders have already work on animated movies before, in fact he work in the movies: Lilo and Stich, How To Train Your Dragon and The Croods.
2. The animation is so cool that it looks like the animation of Puss In Boots: The Last Wish
To those who were worried about the Animals talking in this movie. at 0.55 when Roz said "Processing Language" she might be because she trying to detect and change all the animal's noise into something like human language so she can at least hear their voices in a language that she can understand or scanning their movement to get the idea of what they say.
Remember this is my head cannon of why they can talk so this might not be true, but oh well it's a theory.

The visuals, the voices, the plot, it has all the requirements to make this movie perfect.
I love how realistic it feels when the robot learns the language of the animals. They didn’t use talking animals like in fantasies.

Dang, this looks so damn promising. I love stories like this, and using this, "I am a machine in an organic environment." Trope. Gives me heavy "The Last Bastion." Vibes.
OKAY! Let me just say that this looks ab-so-lute-ly a-maz-ing. Every single part of it! The animation, the humor, the plot, the emotion, the plot, the conflict, the characters.... I can tell the people behind this put a lot of passion into every single aspect of it and their effort really shows! Add to that it's such an unusual premise but so wildly original, and compared to what a lot of movies tend to be like nowadays *cough*disney*cough*.... I think this definitely has the potential to be something great! And I really hope it does well and gets the recognition and praise it deserves!
This feels like a story suited perfectly for our time.
