I'm in Boston and can point to like 12 different championships with moments like Big Papi homeruns vs the Yankees, sweeping the world series twice, Malcolm Butler interception, last second FG from Adam Vinatieri in the snow bowl and in the super bowl, the 28-3 comeback vs Atlanta, the Celtics winning a ring vs LA and winning by like 40 in the closeout game, the bruins winning the championship by winning 4 straight game 7s. The list goes on. It just goes to show that being a fan in a region that doesn't win a lot can be tough and it goes to show just how hyped up that cried will be seeing that they aren't jaded like many crowds in LA or Boston might be. Took less than 6 minutes into the third quarter for Minnesota to make it a 9 point game. Once it was single digits, Denver started missing everything, and the game appeared to have been lost for them right there. What a historical comeback by Minnesota.
I noticed the nuggets players seem to make shots when the games were comfortable. Jamal would score a lot of garbage time baskets in this series. But when it was close, or a dogfight. They would go on massive cold streaks. Only person who could score through those was Jocic

Took less than 6 minutes into the third quarter for Minnesota to make it a 9 point game. Once it was single digits, Denver started missing everything, and the game appeared to have been lost for them right there. What a historical comeback by Minnesota.
I noticed the nuggets players seem to make shots when the games were comfortable. Jamal would score a lot of garbage time baskets in this series. But when it was close, or a dogfight. They would go on massive cold streaks. Only person who could score through those was Jocic
They stumbled under the pressure of having the Wolves hot on their heels.

@@clarkness77 I know that, but you have to remember that up to the point, Denver was dominating the game on both ends of the floor and getting a lot of favorable calls or straight up no-calls that were preventing Minnesota from coming back or scoring at all. The game looked to be over at the half, so to see Minnesota come out and make it a single digit game after 5ish game minutes made it that much more impressive.

The wolves needed every member on the floor to win. So many cotributions from everyone. There would be a buzzer beater three from Conley, a block by Reid, , consecutive free throws from gobert, a fade away grom KAT, a three from Mcdaniels, steal by Conley, a dunk by Edwards, a crazy drive by Reid, a circus shot by Gobert, a three by edwards, a follow-up dunk by KAT etc... I mean everybody from the Wolves showed up! They held it together and slowly crawled their way back to the game as a solid defensive monster, and a well-distributed offensive unit. They defeated the defending champs and as much as i love Dallas, i really think the Wolves deserve the to be this year's champions.
