I grew up on ESPN, but it must be said: This is better than anything ESPN has aired in 2024. Period. Keep it up, fellas! This show always makes me smile, if not laugh out loud.
I grew up on ESPN too with Stuart scott, SVP, Linda Cohn. ESPN was great then but Fox sports has been superior for a while now. This show is by far the best sports show on tv right now

Fox grabbed all the good veteran ESPN people and promoted Nick, brought on Wildes and Brou, promoted Joy Taylor and got Acho and Shady. Got Cowherd.
Obviously Skip and Shannon were magic for years.

I love how the comment sections for First Things First is nothing but comradery and a shared love for this great show. Dude was stuck in a rough spot, choosing between Lebron's Daddy or a young MJ-like player.
he was definitely rooting for the nuggets downfall but didn't have the balls to pick against them
He actually did what was better for the show, Wildes vs Broussard was already established with strong takes.
He just moves without the ball to dunk on Wildes...... which is exactly what happened.
It worked out perfectly. He didn't have to give a pick because his Denver/Joker skepticism was CLEARLY stated.
If Denver won he would dunk on Broussard abit but more give Wildes more assists and flowers for correct pick.
He did pick though, as had the Nuggets ahead of Wolves in all his title pies.
Man I love the show, people really need to support. This may be the best in the business right now.

Ant praised his guys after every game even when they didn’t play well and those same guys came through for him when he needed them the most. That’s very poetic.
What I found most impressive at his age is that he didn’t let his awful shooting night have any effect on how hard he went on defense. I’m not a wolves fan whatsoever but Ant is easy to root for.
