It's due in large part to their play style. They get a lot of shots in the paint and don't take a lot of threes (29th in attempts). You get fouled more playing that way. The Lakers also allow more threes than they take and fewer shots at the rim. That means their opponents get fouled less.

More blatant misinformation from Nick Wright. Lakers may have been 2nd in FT attempts per game this year, but that stat is not what matters. FT differential is what matters because it indicates you are not getting called for fouls yourself while you are getting FTs. Lakers were +500 this year and last year, which is why they are +1000 over the last two years. +500 this year is also first by far. My issue with LBJ complaining about the refs is that he got the benefit of two, pretty clear, should have been no-calls. One was overturned on a challenge.
Yeah, but no one can even see that. Refs are usually against the Nuggets. The Lakers were given the most ref calls the past two years. And getting only a bit less reffing for yourself in 1 game, is pathetic.
Three actually. He got 3 fouls that he shouldn't have got. If anything the refs helped the Lakers overall.
@@mysteriousviper8 no they weren't thats false. They don't foul( they don't play perimeter defense and give baskets)... and they are one of the highest usuage post teams in the league.
No man. It is not complaining. It is misdirection so that people would talk about that instead of him missing a three that was open wide as Grand Canyon
But yet he gets smashed in the face all the time and it’s cool right jokic flops like a fish
Hahahahhahaha when that graphic came up Nick was trying to hard to sway the conversation away 😂
yeah he already knew. instantly changing the subject as hard as he can.
that stat does look pretty bad for the nba.
Why is mophead so desperate to defend LeBlameTheRefs
He’s a Klutch client
MPJ with the constant dagger 3s to keep them close all game long
If it's any player other than Lebron missing that wide open 3, Nick's entire segment would have been roasting it.
Thank you!!!!! Especially with the push off + shimmy + holding the hand in the air after the miss. SMH with 13 seconds on the clock
I disagree. Some shots you miss, some shots you make. He made three clutch shots that the Lakers had to have. That one he just missed. 🤷🏾♂️
@@jfarm30 You're missing the point. If it was anyone else that missed, Nick would have absolutely would have blamed them.
@@butternbread23 I understand, but I’ve never seen him Blame someone for missing a 3 pointer. So you think if a player went 3-4 in clutch shots in the last 3-4 minutes of a game that Nick would blast them for missing the one shot when they hit 3 other big shots?

do you think lebron somehow pays people like Nick to keep him relevant or is it the nba? the man picked lakers to win the series, he cannot be this stupid
Nick is a clutch sports client to absolutely..they use voices from various levels of sports commentary to push their desired narratives. Once you start seeing a correlation between lbj fanatics and clutch it’s obvious
@@jphillips7495 ah thanks for the reply, i just looked it up. It's slightly insulting to the viewers to hire people like nick tbh, his sponsored opinions sound quite idiotic and hard to listen to
Correct me if I am wrong but least year, it was revealed that Nick is part of Clutch Agency, same as Lebron, so there is definitely an agenda there. Nick Wright lost a lot of credit from that. In the end, this is an entertainment show that is looking for ratings. That is why Chris has an official MVP vote and Nick never will.
Nick ...Wendy ..perk....Shannon not sure if he paid but he definitely pushes the narrative...all paid by clutch sports
@@testing52009 oh dude that rabbit hole gets ridiculous..I’ve even seen rumors that they have people running numerous bot accounts and RUclips channels pushing their desired narratives..granted there’s no smoking gun there but stop and wonder where that”we’re done with the 90s” movement came from. It takes balls to blame the refs when you lead the nba in free throw disparity 2 years in a row

The question should be… can he look any more himself?
@@harrym9655Kobe would have air balled it. There a reason why Kobe is the worst in clutch moments and has the worst Clutch Record and missed.
That graffic of free throws sums it up
This is why I don’t like Lefraud, he played great but ruined it by missing the 3 at the end and cries about the referees. They get all the calls and still crying!
If the refs don’t gift the Lakers 25 free throws, they’re obviously cheating. 😂
You go 5 minutes without scoring a single point... You'll probably lose.

Nick so mad at LeBron, he didn’t even stay in the bed with all night. Nick slept on the couch to show LeBron how serious he is.
🤣😂🤣😂🤣
The absolute gall of Nick to claim that LeFlop doesn't complain about the referees on a consistent basis
I understand LeBitch complaining about the refs, last night for the first time in 2 years, a team had more foul shots then they had, so he most had felt cheated that the refs didn't outwardly favor them. The refs probably though the Fakers had the game in hand with a 20 point lead and decided that they didn't need to help them so much.
that loss was devastating
More blatant misinformation from Nick Wright. Lakers may have been 2nd in FT attempts per game this year, but that stat is not what matters. FT differential is what matters because it indicates you are not getting called for fouls yourself while you are getting FTs. Lakers were +500 this year and last year, which is why they are +1000 over the last two years. +500 this year is also first by far. Also, it is hilarious that he even thinks being 2nd in FT ATTEMPTS is not a big deal.
Take a shot for evey time Nick says "that game" 😂
Lebron missing a wide open 3 with 13 seconds on the clock then blaming the refs ! 🤣🤣🤣

Btw, THIS SEASON Lakers FT difference this year is just about +500 while second best is Boston with a little over +200.
