    Fun fact. Natural Born Killers and True Romance was originally written to be a combined movie called The Open Road. Clarence is writing a script called Natural Born Killers based on him and Alabama, and the original would have been flashing back and forth from the True Romance story to Clarences fictional Natural Born Killers story.

    Somewhere in the annals of the internet, there is a fan made "Tarantino Cut", which restores unused scenes and restructures the film to conform to Tarantino's final script, which absolutely did NOT have this happy ending...

    The cast is much more impressive now then they were then. Not saying they were unheard of, but over the years they had big roles, like Gandolfini(rip) and Brad Pitt. But back then, they had a much smaller resume of work. Jack Black had a scene that was cut out too. I would say the biggest stars back in the early 90's were Hopper and Walken. Slater was pretty well known, but mainly in gen x, from his work as a young man playing teenagers. A lot of ladies liked Thelma and Louise as I recall, so of course, they would've known Pitt. But most of these actors Like Sam Jackson, Oldman,and Tarrantino had worked before but didn't really blow up until after this movie.

      @deepermind4884 21 день назад +2

      GREAT grandson??!! Grandson is more like it. Let's say Aldo Raine had a son after the war in 1945. Let's say his son had a son named Floyd when he was 25 in 1970. "True Romance" was released in 1993, so Floyd would've been 23 when he was lying on that couch. In reality, Brad Pitt was 29 when he was in the movie.

    • @Average_Brad
      @Average_Brad 20 дней назад

      @@deepermind4884 Your assuming a lot. Aldo could have easily had a child (perhaps even several years) before he left for war. He's from a time and area where getting married/having children early in life was common. Your also assuming his child waited 'til they were 25 to have their first child. Given the time period that would have been unusually late especially for a first child. Finally your assuming both Floyd's age and in what year True Romance took place. All I know for certain is according to the "Tarantinoverse" canon Floyd is Aldo's great grandson.

    Uncut refers to a drug's (the product) purity. Uncut drugs, like cocaine or heroin are expensive and have a greater risk of causing overdose at lower intake levels. So, they are cut, or "stepped on," for a couple of reasons. Mainly, cutting/stepping on cocaine (for sake of the argument) increases the weight of the "product" thereby increasing its resale value. The more the product is stepped on, the more there is of it to sell and the cheaper it becomes, making it affordable and accessible to the street consumer. Cutting also helps to "weaken" the product's potency, which allows users to "abuse" a drug with a lowered risk of overdose.

    So for the first question a call girl is often a nice way of saying prostitute but for it to be legal they act as women who are paid to go on dates and be on a guys arm for an evening just so he has like a plus one for events but others do sleep with the men.
    Second question
    Uncut drugs means pure every ounce of that powder is drugs straight from the supplier what street people do is they take one of those bricks that’s all they can afford and they add baby formula to make a small amount a large amount but it lowers how pure the drug is.

    When Alabama doesn't want to be called a prostitute, it's more in her mind that a prostitute is less respectful than a call girl/Escort, even thought they are practically the same thing. Call Girl sounds a bit nicer.
    A bit like someone wanting to be called a "Sanitation Engineer", rather than a "Garbage Man".

    🤍🖤another film that lingered, believe tough drugs and 'hard addict hitting' men. However people that 'lose' in that 'world', well? Most of the film is sickening with 'repulsion'. I have not known cocaine to behave that way.😢☮️

      Escort is the word you want.
      Technically legal to pay a person to be in your company, but illegal to pay for sex.
      If you pay for an escort and they happen to like you well enough for sexy fun times, that is a happy coincidence. But he/she is doing that for free.
      Uncut = undiluted. Drug is mixed with other stuff to sell more, increase profit and not kill people.
