    I'm five seconds into this video and just your reaction to the opening credits was priceless, right down to the blue glare on her glasses! Watching each name pop up on the screen....and you guys KNOWING who virtually all of them are (which is unusual in reaction videos) and your eyes getting all wide, as if you just opened up a present.... all I can say is I'm a very satisfied subscriber!

    In Tarantino's original script, Clarence dies at the end. Tony Scott loved the characters and wanted them to have a happy ending. It also has a connection to Reservoir Dogs. Joe Cabot and Mr. White discuss a female thief named Alabama.
    Not sure if you guys have seen Inglorious Bastards yet, but there is a character in it named Donnie Donowitz who is related to the movie producer Lee Donowitz in this film. The Tarantino Cinematic Universe expands.

    That scene with Christopher Walken and Christian Slater's father had me rolling on the floor 🤣. It's probably one of the 10 most classic scenes in all of movies

    Ha! I always say Gary Oldman is a chameleon. Even when he looks like himself, I am halfway through the movie and then I am like, "omg commissioner Gordon is Gary Oldman, damn!"

    Great reaction, guys! Might I interest you in NATURAL BORN KILLERS or FOUR ROOMS, both Tarantino connected? NATURAL BORN KILLERS is very dark, but they're both amazing films imo.

    Top 10 movie for me and my favorite Tarantino film even though many don't count it as his. Clarence vs Drexl, Clarence's dad vs 🍆Vincenzo, and Alabama vs Tony Soprano ( Virgil ) are spectacular scenes. Tons of stars before they made it big.

      My favorite movie, and while I wonder how Tarantino would have directed it differently, Tony Scott is either underrated or overshadowed by his brother, because Man on Fire is also a fine film.

    The great Bronson Pinchot, the name you did recognise in the beginning, playing Elliot, also appears in funny performances in all the Beverly Hills Cops movies.

    Just FYI, Elvis started his career in the 50s, but he made it into the late 70s (think he died 77 or 78), but yes, long dead when the movie took place. Besides, really enjoy your reactions.

    This and Jackie Brown didn't start out as my favorite Tarantino movies, but overtime they've moved up the list to my top Tarantino movies. I could tell you guys were getting into the movie and were paying close attention, very good reaction

      Yes, this is my favorite, and Jackie Brown seems like Tarantino came back in time to direct it because it really showcases all of his skills. Even moreso than movies he made after it...

    Better than this (and predating it) is David Lynch's "Wild At Heart" (which is VERY similar in certain ways, right down to the Elvis fixation). After "Wild At Heart" there were all these "love on the run" movies: this one, Natural Born Killers (another Tarantino script), and Kalifornia. Definitely check "Wild At Heart" out if you haven't seen it: Nicolas Cage and Laura Dern (and Laura Dern's mother, Diane Ladd) are fantastic, and Lynch fans are DYING for someone to react to that one. / Have you guys seen the new series, "Severance"? Patricia Arquette is amazing in that, and it's so wild seeing her again, in her younger years in stuff like this and Lost Highway (another Lynch). That's only 9 episodes, worth watching on or off the channel: it's mindblowing!/ Tarantino had said for years that the scene with Hopper and Walken is the scene he is most proud of. (the opening scene in Inglorious Basterds has since joined it). Happy you liked it! It's obviously not a full-blown Tarantino since it has none of his directing style, and the script was reworked, but it's a fun movie, as you say! THANKS!

    This was a good reaction, but it’s very difficult to understand what you’re saying. Maybe if you had a better mic or something? It was kind of frustrating, about 10 percent of what was said was unintelligible.

    • @tamarleigh
      @tamarleigh 11 месяцев назад

      The audio was fine when the film wasn’t playing, it was just when the film was playing that it was hard to understand you. The captions were unable to process your words, too, so they didn’t help.
