Hell yeah, glad this movie is starting to make the rounds on the reaction channels
The title killed this movie in cinemas, people had no idea what it was about.
I agree. Underrated movie
100 super underrated
@@IntenseSarcasm The DVD case gave it away… you’re not supposed to know the kid becomes a hitman until the twist is revealed, but they have him with gun in hand right on the cover. 🤷🏻
Great movie, I think I’ve seen it a dozen times already. Dig that song at the end.
@@IntenseSarcasmthat and was never advertised. Word of mouth.
I personally think this is underrated movie, flew by under the radar. Its a great movie!
Best movie ever in my book
It’s because they never advertised this movie. Word of mouth. I’m glad I seen this when it came out. Such a great flick.
Agree wholeheartedly!
It’s absolutely underrated! So good though😊
I love this movie. Lucy Liu being allowed to be quirky and freaking adorable rather than her usual grim and sexy was great, and she was so good at it.
I never much liked Lucy Liu, but she absolutely stole my heart in this one. She was SO adorable!
Massive underrated movie, and much better on a second watch.
One of the most underrated movies ever. Love this one
Big facts
Thats what I came to say! so many people have never seen it either!
I think the reason Goodkat did not kill the boy is because he saw the bravery of the boy when the boy knew he was about to be killed. The boy did not cry or show any fear. Slevin explained it in one of the scenes- he said that he had a syndrome called ataraxia, which is a general freedom from worry. He was actually telling the truth. This also explains why he was so calm when he faced the bosses. Overall. a very cool and well-thought-out movie.
OH HELL YES! This is one of my comfort movies - the ones you watch when you're feeling sick or bummed out.
i thought the chemistry between lucy and josh was ☺️😍.
and the reveal at the end 👍
highly underrated movie tbh.
Feuding Oscar winners, Josh Hartnett in a towel, likable Lucy Liu, & a steely Bruce Willis. Love this movie!"He'll blow you to the next bar mitzvah!" Y'all are so funny!
One of my all time favorite movies! Glad y’all enjoyed it too!
The Rabbi was Sir Ben Kingsley. His mark to fame was when he played Ghandi.
He's a real drama actor. Very little action, very little chicken flicks, very little family shows.
So very glad you enjoyed Lucky Number Slevin. Keep on keeping on, you two!!! 😊
Hell yes! This movie is criminally underrated. I don't know why more reactors dont react to it. I'm glad you guys are watching it, seriously such a great movie.
this was an excellent movie. , one of my all time favorites. . all star cast, specially considering how big Josh Hartnett was at the time. incredible writing paired with excellent delivery and acting. . great story, great twists and turns. . criminally underrated. . . the movies title had a lot to do with that. . .it makes perfect sense after you've watched it but, no sense at all before watching and movie advertising wasn't as good as it is today, specially with the internet. . made today this movie would be a big hit!!
“They didn’t even wait 5 minutes” should be a tshirt
This movie is awesome! I ciuldn't believe (at the time) it wasn't ever talked about or got any acknowledgement. I rented this joint from Blockbuster back in the 00's!
omg someone is doing reactions on this movie FINALY!! you can't believe how happy I am people start to do reactions to this movie .I hope it spreads like it normally do on YT.
When Slevin gets his dad's watch back at 44:30 it reminds me of the watch in Pulp Fiction.
One of my favorite movies. Glad you guys saw it! :)
I believe Smith spared the kids life because the kid turned and faced him. He wasn't showing any fear, he'd rather meet the bullet head on. That made Smith respect him. Remember when Smith takes the glasses off instead of shooting him. I think Smith felt admiration for the kid.
But that's just my own theory.
This is a very very very good movie!!! Hope y’all enjoyed
JOSH HARTNET WAS IN "BLACKHAWK DOWN" AND REALLY GOOD IN "PENNY DREADFUL" 👍👍👍👍🔥
"He's as crispy as bacon. You can still hear him sizzling!" 🤣 Dang, BJ, that's cold, LOL.
YES!! This is one of my favorite underrated movies. You two are the first reactors that I've seen watch it. I'm glad you liked it!
The entire movie is a Kansas City Shuffle.
You look one way. They go an entirely different way 😉
Watched this movie so many times, some of the lines are stuck in my brain.
But my favourite line? Orders... is orderzzz! 🤣
Btw this is my favourite Lucy Liu character ever. Simply adorable.
Tell it to the one legged man, so he can bump it off down the road…
@@IntenseSarcasm Haha... yea. That one gets me too every time.
Same here 😂 I can repeat some lines complete and I also think Lucy is adorable in this movie
Bad dog.
This is one of my favorite movies. The best part about it is the dialog. So many great gems here. Plus there's the satisfying plot twist you never see coming. Glad you both liked it!
"SMOKIN' ACES" EXCELLENT MOVIE...ACTION AND ACTORS STACKED🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Agree!!!! Like it like this movie!! The plottwist is great!!
Love this movie " long revenge and chess moves to line everything up "....
sometimes being no one and nothing is the path others will remember you as in memory... As someone who helped
He was just a stranger.🍻
WANTED ( 2008 ) starring James McAvoy, Angelina Jolie, Morgan Freeman, Chris Pratt and Common among others. Excellent Action/Thriller movie.
Not here to troll , but I avoided this film. It totally went in the wrong direction from the comic it was based on. The comic was brilliant. I recommend it if you haven’t read it. If you did and still liked the film it’s all good.
@@jasondelgado-yg5mj Ah, I haven't read a comic in decades and never knew it was based on one. Thanks for the info, though. 👍
This is a great stand alone movie ! The ending scene is just so awesome !
18:31..I Dunno about that, guys...He's already been punched out 3 times, robbed and gotten blackmailed by a mobster(LOL) This film kept me guessing till the end just as much as you. But Willis obviosuly owed the Rabbi and Freeman some hurt, And many hitmen are like that--NO kids! He new young Sleven was the perfect future teammate to help them both get revenge. (No doubt he trained him) Loved how he suckered 'em both..Appear to be a weak nobody, then unleash hell--And they never saw it coming! Fun reactions/commentary!!
Saw this movie in the theater with my oldest friend, it's such an awesome movie!
one of my FAVORITE movies! ...so clever... 😂🥰
Mines too one of my top 10 favorite movies
used to be one of my fav movies. so good. and the song "after laughter" by Wendy Rene always reminds me of this movie
I love this movie. It's so underrated
must watch other Bruce Willis movies like RED, and Whole Nine Yards
Looper 👍🏽👎🏽?
All three solid recommendations!
"The Whole Nine Yards" would be great to watch for a Matthew Perry tribute RIP. Great film and I hope they watch this one and "The Usual Suspects". Asia and BJ have been rocking with the reactions lately.
@@ryanfeit1420 Solid references, can't let it go, check into the coincidences of Bennington, Cornell, even M. Perry, (topic), Bourdain, Walker, all about to attempt to expose certain things,...gotta share the wealth, positivity over negativity
I love this movie. I suggest a rewatch and look for something. Slevin is what is called an "unreliable narrator". The movie shows the scenes that are part of the fictitious backstory that he created. They are all in black and white.
Asia only had her deflectors set to 50% this time! Good job!
I'm glad you watched this. I've always loved this movie.
Man I hope you guys liked this movie because I love lucky number slevin, this made my day wooo!
When I joined patreon I was shocked how many movies you had on there that weren't uploaded. Ya'll uploading them all now wow! Movie after movie, ya'll killing it with all the editing!
Love this movie, and it’s great to see a reaction to it. Just in case it hasn’t already been said, Stanley Tucci’s character (the cop) was not a hit man turned cop - he was just a dirty cop from way back in the day.
Virtually every movie y’all react to I’ve seen countless times. Yet it’s like I’m watching them anew since discovered y’all channel. I want to thank you both so much.
One of the greatest underrated films of all-time with one of the greatest plot twists
Nice choice. One of those films with a different name in different countries/regions. In Australia it's called The Wrong Man .
Glad y’all like it! Criminally and insanely underrated.
This is one of those gems that you were referring to...not nearly enough people know this movie or how amazing it is.
Smokin' Aces would be another good reaction imo
This is one of my top 3, but so criminally underrated that most ppl I tell abt it haven't heard of it. So glad you found it.
Like this movie. Personally if you ask me, the rabbi was practically the only smart one because he the only one who realized that Slevin (Henry) was telling the true when he said he wasn't Nick Fisher. And in the end, the look on his face suggested that he knew that one day he and the boss would answer for what they did 20 years ago.
Another good movie that’s also over looked is ‘Frailty’ with Matthew McConaughey. It came out in 2001. It kind of gives the same vibes as this movie. You’d really like it.
This is actually a pretty good movie, I have a suggestion for y'all, Kiss of the dragon, starring Jet Lee. . Or "Romeo must die" . Also starring jet li but with Aaliyah too. . Both great movies and I think you two wld like.
I’ll second the Romeo must die. Jet Li action and Aaliyah’s charm make it a must watch.
Asia: "Okay, I'm never gonna go gambling!"
My Reaction: 😂 Just do it legally, not by a bookie! 😂
Very glad you enjoyed the movie as much as I did when it came out in theaters. 😊
What a great reaction watching you both realize this twist was awesome❤ & "I'm tryin to say he blew his mind on the outside of his head"-BJ 😅 lmao goodness you have me laughing all day..
I love murder mysteries and crime drama especially if they are layered and have twists so I loved this. Gone Girl is way up for me in that regard if you ever feel inclined.
Being from south Louisiana I realize we eat strange food. The first person on Earth to eat a crawfish had to be starving his ass off. That being said boiled crawfish done right is the best. With the corn, potatoes, garlic, sausage, and anything else people throw in the pot is awesome.
YES, YES, YES. Such a great movie and Josh is fantastic as ever. Really glad you got to see this, such a clever script. Check out HEIST from 2001. Another great Crime/Thriller that's a little twisty-turny too.
So glad y'all got to see this movie. This is truly one of the best movies I've ever seen. It is so well written, acted, & the twists and turns make it my favorite. Thank you or reacting.
One of my all time favorite films
Finally someone reacts to this movie!!! Excellent choice
The writing in this is borderline Tarantino-level. I love it!!
Finally watching my favorite movie of all time. Most underrated movie ever too. I dont know anyone who has seen it.
A movie i REALLY loved WAY back in 2006 ..... 🤪
As other states too ...i think it flew under many's radar its a GREAT movie ....
AWESOME "plot" that is impossible to figure out before the end of the movie .... hehehe
Nice! Glad to see y'all got to see this one. Really good one! Can't believe more reactors haven't found this one yet! That twist is dope! I knew y'all would love it lol! This cast is All Star in 2006. Morgan Freeman, Ben Kingsley (Rabbi), Josh Hartnett, Lucy Liu, Bruce Willis & Stanley Tucci been around for a minute!
Good for you for watching and reacting to this absolutely underrated movie! Such a great mystery/twist movie.
I saw this movie shortly after it came out. My mom was big on just picking up movies off the blockbuster shelf to read the back and if it sounded good why not? This was one of those picks and I’ve owned it ever since!
I love the ending - because a) Schmidt showed the same empathy he did when he spared Slevin, and b) it still solved the problem - not like she was going to tell on them now, right?
Great movie!!!!
You all need to watch Four Rooms!!! Crazy good!
Lol .. Asia u couldnt even get ur hands up fast enuf to block all that in the beginning, one after the other. Then BJ .. all ur comments are ruthless .. Man he blew his brains on the outside of his head .. which is what happened but normally it's not vocalized so forward like that .. AND He's fried so bacon crispy , u can still hear him sizzle! Great reactions esp after u 2 are untwisting y'all's minds while eewing & ahhing .. haha 😂
This is such an underrated and less known masterpiece. Loved your reaction!
This movie is a hidden gem. Everyone I recommended this to has enjoyed it. No one saw the twist coming.
Henchman Sloe was also Bubba ! in Forest Gump 😊
I'm liking this reaction before y'all get in to it just for watching this movie. Thanks Mr. David Crawford for recommending it!
The final song at the subtitles is pure 💥💥💥💥💥
I have an idea; you two should have a day like, way back Wednesday, where you look at old movies back in the 60's-80's movie, especially blaxplotation movies like Blacula, Car Wash, Cooley High, Bingo Long, Mahogany, Lady Sings the Blues, Let's Do It Again etc
"Hey Max, who's your favorite uncle? ... okay, who's your second favorite? Never mind! I got a sure thing!" 😂
Great film, great reaction, great plot and great twist! This was great all round and I've not seen this film for years, I'd actually forgotten all about it. Fair play as always guys. Great shout 👊🇬🇧
NICE!!! Such a rare find! Look for The Babadook too. Very good Horror flick!!
So glad you got around to this movie. So many twists & turns & trying to put the pieces together.
A few others good ones with this same feel are Wild Things (Neve Campbell) and The Game (Michael Douglas).
Yo that blinding white, flat brim AJ got on is fire. Not sure if he's worn it before, maybe it's the all white outfit that made it stand out lol
Lucy Liu stole the hell out of this movie.
Saw it by accident without ever even hearing about it way back and found it a pleasant surprise.
Now I am recommending "The Usual Suspects" to you
If you haven't seen Ghost Dog you are missing out on a gem that quite a few people missed when it came out. Definitely worth a watch. Forest Whitaker stars in it.
Another hidden gem for y'all to watch is Love and a Bullet ( 2002 ) starring Treach.
One of my all time favorite movies. Very underrated.
Yes! Such an underrated movie. Cannot wait to see y’all’s reaction to the ending!
This movie lifts so much from “A Fist Full of Dollars”.
Such and underrated movie. Saw it in theater back when it came out. Theme song is a jam too.
I love this movie, great reaction y’all! Asia when you said you were going to need both hands I died laughing, and BJ I swear you have the best dad jokes😹 Ben Kingsley, the Rabi, is a very well-known drama actor, and you guys might also recognize him from The Sopranos! He plays himself as the actor whose too good for Christophers movie ✌💚✨
My dad took me to horse track as a kid!!❤❤❤
What’s the song on the radio when their driving at the end of the movie, “Kansas City Shuffle”. That’s the day the revenge plot started. Love how every loose end is nicely tied up at the end.
Bruce Smith. All time NFL sack leader and one hell of an assassin.
Great movie, one of my all time favorites.
Some other great movies with multiple twists to check out if you haven’t seen them already are Memento, The Sting, Knives Out, and Glass Onion.
So excited to see yall react to this one, up on my all time favorite list. The cast is ridiculous!
Edit: Wow, as many times as I have watched this I never put together Bad Dog being the opposite of Good Cat.
I also recommend Smokin’ Aces. Another wild action movie with some fun twists
Such a great movie that nobody every talks about. Glad it is getting some love.
Side note, I was so happy to see Josh Hartnett return to acting. Hope to see more bangers from him in the future.
I love Asia's face through this whole movie her dropped and stayed open, Wow!
There's a wonderful gem that I know you've never heard of, but you'd love it. Little Big Man. It's a great take on Westerns and one of Dustin Hoffman's finest roles.
I`m glad folks are starting to react to this movie...A very good movie.
Glad you guys did this movie, was so underrated when it came out
Another underrated film you surely would enjoy is "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" with Robert Downey Jr and Val Kilmer. One of the best movies you never saw.
Similar to the movie The count of Monte Cristo. Good movie to review
Another one of my favorites.
