Fun fact: the real Lorraine Warren has a small cameo in the movie, she's setting in the lecture hall with crowd
9:33 loved that jump scare along with the movement of the camera lol.
Dropping in real quick to say that I dig the thumbnails. They're hilarious and show good humor.
💪
they're great, very fun.
So, the actual story of the Annabelle doll is as follows: a Raggedy Ann doll was found in various places in a residence, so the owners gave the doll to the Warrens, who kept it. That's it. My best guesses are as follows: 1. They had a cat or dog that moved it (this is very commonplace in my own house). 2. The roommate did it as a prank. 3. The whole thing about it moving was made up. More often than not in these sorts of cases, it turns out to be 3.
More often than not?, literally every time you mean, especially as the Warren's were criminal frauds.
I'm just here for the clap scene
I’m here for that and 2 other things
@@michaelblaine6494 Great, bringing an argument against the simp comment and being creepy as shit afterwards. Good job.
Dasha, your terrified reactions are the best! I saw this movie in the theater and it was the most scared I've ever been in a theater!
LOL🤣🤣🤣when YOU jump, you move your camera!
Their museum has been closed to the public for many years, and both Ed and Lorraine have passed away, but their son in law still holds regular events to talk About their legacy and you can meet THE Annabelle doll and other items from the collection. I was lucky enough to see them in person back in 2019. Of course, how much you believe or not varies, but it's still interesting to me from a cultural perspective.
Shoutout to Dasha she made me less afraid and intimated of Russian ladies
😂she terrifying!! Are u kidding me, seen her upset yet?!... but best wishes and good luck lol
Are you nuts? She steals thumbnails! _THUMBNAILS_ !!
Mine still haven't grown back.
@@autolycusjohnson2987 the only reference I had was vampires and rocky 4 and as a kid that scared the hell out of me
Weirdo.
Hello Dasha!😊 Yeah, I was just thinking that you don't watch too many scary movies. This isn't the first time films have been made about Ed and Lorraine's true stories. Back in 1979 "The Amityville Horror" film involved their investigations. A rope made to fit someone's neck is called a "Noose".😉 Great reactions to this very scary film, Dasha!!!!🎬👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
The Real Warren’s only spent one day with these people and ended with the dad punching Ed Warren. Love the Flick though 🤘🏽👻🤘🏽
Fantastically fun reaction, lol😊😊😊
I've never sleep-walked-
I've always been lazy.
When films say, "based on a true story," it means efforts have been made to ensure the film portrays it as factually accurate as it can (it falls short of a documentary, as Hollywood may fudge with the timeline of events, but the portrayed events are based on documents, articles, and first hand interviews. There may some level of embellishment for entertainment purposes). When a film states it is "INSPIRED" by a true story, then it takes greater liberties with actual facts or events, although the premise r wider story or issue is in the ball park). The conjuring was based on news articles, and first person interviews including Lorraine Warren who was a consultant for the first two films as well as the Warren's recordings, notes, and books. She has since passed, her husband died before these films were made.
2:37 "and that's what she said. ha ha."
there it is. 🙂
Lmao great reaction! Im so sorry u went thru this for our entertainment! Good luck sleeping tonight! Lol this movie, the strangers and insidious are my fav scary movies
1:57 strike a pose.
18:12
"Well when you know you think your job sucks"😂
-----
- Dasha said that this movie 'The Conjuring' made her not want to sleep ever again.
I think she might get a real kick out of the movie 'The Entity (1982)'... **Evil Smirk**
-----
At 13:56 & 14:25 - I was laughing my ass off 😂😂😂😂 your jumping was hilarious
Cannot wait till you get that 100,000 subscriber. Good job kiddo 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
20:37 "Is it inside now?? Eww!"
That's what SHE said.
Check out the movies The Conjuring 2(2016), Insidious(2010), and Insidious: Chapter 2(2013).
If you want to be utterly bored out of your mind.
I am psyched to see you react to the rest of the movies in this series, especially if you watch them in order. You know what they say about bravery, being brave is when you are afraid of doing something but you do it anyway. Props to you, I've never been scared by these movies, even as a kid I loved watching them, so it's something I've had a hard time grasping for others.
Either way, I am excited to see your reaction, they are great in my opinion.
Can't believe this is your first time watching this film Dasha...Great reaction...I hope you consider watching some of the other ones in this franchise as well (Anabelle, The Nun, etc.) They are all very good movies
13:53 clap clap
That was absolutely awesome reaction! Conjuring is my favorite and you should check out Part 2 ! Hope you have a wonderful amazing day 🥰
I had the pleasure of visiting their museum and meeting Lorraine Warren. The real Annabelle is a Raggety Ann doll, which was popular in the 60s and 70s. My wife, her friend, and I all took pictures in front of Annabelle. Her hands were in different positions in the pictures even though she was looked away in a glass case.
Pleasure?, she's a fraud who preyed upon the gullible.
Great reaction. I have seen Ed and Lorraine Warren a long long time ago in Monroe, Connecticut. Sadly they both passed but the show was amazing.
You are very beautiful by the way.
Great reaction! I hope you continue with the series. Also, the actress that plays the mother of the haunted family is in a movie called The Haunting. I think you'd like it. Nowhere near as terrifying as this but still enjoyable.
I dont get it. If you had problems believing Braveheart, why dont you have it believing this crap?
This is a fictional movie, it is BASED in real events, but It does not mean those thing really happened like in the movie. Lorraine couple were real, but they were also famous for being scammers, faking or exagerating their cases. People like to believe in ocultism, so they instantly catch like fish with every single movie that include in their marketing campain the “based in real events” slogan. Think about it… if you are a producer of horror movies, why do not use it to create more spectation in your audience and sell more of your product?
Truth, however a ton of stuff in Brave heart was pure fiction too. As a Scot I don't mind but I know the real events.
Exactly that. Those are real people but not real events. Warrens were proven to be fake and made up those events for money. Not mentioning the worse part of Ed being child predator and even having his victim live in their house under full knowledge of Lorraine so...
Awesome reaction of my favorite The Conjuring!!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊
My video just paused itself and I'm freaking out, man!
Excellent horror movie. Some of the spin-offs (Annabelle / The Nun, etc) are good too, some not so much Im going to see if you've reviewed "Hereditary" yet. I'm guessing no, since your heart is still beating 😁
This and The Conjuring 2 are my favorite scary movies. Can't wait for you to react to #2.
You would like "Fright Night 1985" scary fun😊
good one.
great, but Part 2 i like even better
Dasha, you may be interested in the Russian horror fantasy movies Night Watch (Nochnoi Dozor) 2004 and Day Watch 2006. Based on the book series by Sergey Lukyanenko (which is also really good).
Pity they never made twilight watch, loved those books and films.
one of the very best reactionsI've seen for this movie😮😊
You have to start watching more horror movies because this was so so funny! 😂😂😂😂I love it!!
Yes ed and Lorraine are real people. Annabelle doll is real. The Conjuring house is real and according to the people involved what happened in the real house is actually worse, scarier than the movie.
Real people. Scammers and pedophiles.
Not trying to start any beef here.
All of what you posted is definitely accurate. Though I will definitely say the vast majority of "supernatural" events have been either heavily criticized or debunked over the years. I just want people to come at it with some skepticism
Nah, it's all bs.
Scammers and pedos.
It's nonsense.
May I request Hereditary as another horror movie to react to?
It's like an upgraded version of The Exorcist.
No, it absolutely is not and isn't fit to mentioned in the same sentence as it.
Sorry but like most they were grifters. As a child I wanted to be a parapsychologist which is kinda a ghost hunter but more. But as I got older and learned more science I also learned none of these types of mysteries are based on evidence but personal opinions and often lies. But science also gave me more mysteries such as WTF quantum mechanics.
You can totally protect yourself from demons with prayers and creating a "bubble" around yourself. If your faith is strong enough.❤💔♥️
Three o'clock is the bewitching hour when the clocks stopped ,not midnight as some people think. Three represent the Father, Son and the Holy Ghost .By the way Dasha your so adorable when your frightened.😂
In which time zone? Also, "you're."
12:50
Happy Canada Day Dasha!! 😊🇨🇦
Watch number 2 👍
Another good reaction Dasha! Keep them coming...❤
The most beautiful woman watching the scariest movie 😀
She is the only reactor to not turn her head or cover her eyes during the clock clown / witch / demon scene.
Simp
Relax virgin
Simp doesn’t mean “man who is attracted to women” and thinking it does says a lot about you
@@michaelblaine6494 Weeell, writing a comment like this is kinda simpy, though.
Thirsty at least.
Either way it's weird for sure.
One of the scariest scenes is yanking her ankle. I have had dreams like this. And pulling me off the bed. Terrifying.
HI Dasha, great reaction to this evil story. Try Conjurning 2. It's even more horrifying. Or Insidious series...goosebumps for next entire year :-)
20:37 wait what? XD
The Warren's have a museum in Connecticut.
Monroe
Love your reaction! If you can, please react to the rest of the Conjuring universe. It'd be great if you could react to the Insidious series of movies as well, oh and The Others if you haven't reacted to it yet. What I like about this film and the sequels is that it still ends up happy. These are still really the Warren's story (whether completely true or not) and their love for each other.
waiting for thumbnail comments LOL
Ed, and Lorraine Warren were real people they had a house in Monroe, Connecticut. The back of the house was an occult museam where they stored the cursed objects they collected. The house was closed to the public in 2019 ( I think for zoning reasons, but not really sure). You used to be able to go and see Annabelle (but don't tuch the glass case). I think the doll is still there, you might be able to stop by and say hello 🥵🥵
ugh.. this movie was one of the LEAST scary movies I've seen. MY friend & I where perplexed that this was so popular...
Same, everything Blumhouse makes is utter garbage that couldn't scare a baby.
2:21 👻 "my camera."
Wait until you watch Conjuring 2... happened down the road from me in London (the real event) and is the most documented haunting in existence.
😂
The most documented fraud.
@@scottneil1187 Hey... i am not religious and believe in science and rational explanations... but when you see things that cant be explained by anyone and there are witnesses... it makes you think twice...
Omg your face in the thumbnail 😂
IF THE DOG WON'T GO IN YOU DON'T GO IN
Love your videos! In a study for scariest movie the record goes to Sinister when comparing heart rates from various users. I hope one day you watch it!
Comparing weak idiots that don't know real horror movies.
I started watching horror movies sence I was 4 & I'm almost 26 😂 🌹
yoo that thumbnail is so funny😅😂😂
Keep up the great work Dasha!
watching during the day... SMART! 😉 great reaction! 👍🙂
Great 😊
Now you gotta see the rest.
Fun movie. Loved your reaction. Ed and Lorraine Warren are well-known in the skeptical community. They were great story-tellers but they were also world-class liars. Multiple attempts have been made to corroborate their stories and every one has failed. So, glad you enjoyed the movie but it was all made-up.
I would say that Insidious and Annabelle have this movie beat, they all have good jumpscare scenes but the Conjuring and Annabelle exist in the same timeline
Jumpscares, horror for the weak.
So glad to have the real Dasha back.
Conjuring 2 it´s even better!!
Check out Halloween 2.
Everybody's an expert on "based on True story" Lmao
I love horror movies but I’m usually disappointed by them. This one is one of the best imo! Love you’re reaction too, you can tell how effected you were form all the fidgeting 😂 😂
If you think this is one of the best then you not only don't live horror but know nothing about it, this is mass produced, Hollywood trash for babies.
great reaction :)
If you see birds in your nightmares, you should do a reaction to the old horror classic, The Birds, by Alfred Hitchcock.
I suggest The Exorcism of Emily Rose
watch Martyrs 2008
Yes, the French original (not the remake)! 🙂👍
If she thinks this utter tripe is scary then Martyrs will kill her. True horror.
based on a "real" story. that aside, it's a GREAT movie.
Movie suggestion - "Carrie" 1976.
one of my favorite horror movies ever!
Jimmy Von Christmas! This girl might be the most beautiful girl ever.
Cool your jets, I called dibs! Seriously though, she IS stunning.
Happy little comment for the algorithm. :)
How's your doggy?
The Ring is a must watch.
The original, not the awful remake.
@@scottneil1187YES
I wish I could hold and hug Dasha!
Comedia e mult mai bună!
урааа посмотрела. Ждем "идиократия"
We know your jump scare wasn’t fake 😂
when hands came behind and clapped it scared bezeesus out of me and I consume horror films like some people consume donuts...
Also the puking is how demons infect a host
😂
Reaction trilogy of Conjuring, Annabelle, Nun
I'll not be watching, awful films. Couldn't scare a fart out a baby.
Excellent film and excellent reaction Dasha ♥ I hope reactions to the Italian film "La Vita è Bella" is a cinema classic
Uhh Hasnt anyone mentioned Conjuring 2 yet? Even scarier event with same actors playing Ed and Lorraine.
😊😊😊
Nice job, ma'am.
A little jumpy, Dasha? 😂
The Woman in Black (either version, but I prefer the Daniel Radcliffe version) is WAY scarier!
Stultifyingly boring film.
A GREAT one to react to - perhaps around Halloween - would be the Netflix series "Haunting of Hill House."
Very creepy, but a very good and deep story. The acting is superb. It's not the most terrifying horror series/movie ever made, but still enough to stand up as a great one.
The twists and turns and freaky moments would make that a "must see" reaction. I try to watch this show every October. October is my horror movie month, and every October I go through and watch the greats. It's fun!
I recommend Haunting of Hill House.
I should add, it's just a single season series.
I second this. It's phenomenal. Mike Flanagan has become one of my favorites.
I was going to suggest this, too. Best show I ever watched. And I didn't even love horror before that. The other Mike Flanagan shows, Haunting of Bly Manor, Midnight Mass and The Fall of the House of Usher are great, too, but Haunting of Hill House is a masterpiece.
