Hello friends, thanks for stopping by the farmhouse today! Please Like Share and comment on this video! I appreciate it!
Hi LeeAnn! That kitchen tool is the coolest thing I have seen in a long time! Tell Hubby to get it patented! The soup looks wonderful!
Yes I agree! He is so smart!
There are automatic pot stirrers already on the market so a patent may be difficult. But there may not be any patent restrictions to prevent him from marketing on a small scale (no mass production). You should look into it.
Hi LeAnn! That pot stirrer your hubby made was genius. Can you imagine how many recipes that the pot stirrer invention will help with, jams, jellies, tomatoes recipes and my mind is running wild.
This soup looked so good. I’ve been busy trying to help my brother who is disabled. He has to have eye surgery and I’ve been making some freezer meals for him.
Another motivational canning video for sure. You are such an inspiration. Have a blessed night and day!
It was wonderful for Pizza sauce and ketchup last summer.
I really enjoy your videos and learn a lot of great recipes. I do struggle with the high and really low volume on your videos though. I do wear headphones, so that may make a difference. Thank-you again for sharing and have a good day.
I wish I knew how to fix that... I wear head phones to edit and think its blaring loud. I doesn't help that I have a head cold either. Thanks for watching!
@@MennoniteFarmhouse -No worries Hun. It just keeps me on my toes. God Bless.
Kudos to your husband for his unique stirring invention!
Thank you!
I don't like a lot of heat, but I have family members who do. It looks delicious. What a neat invention. Two thumbs for the hubby!
Thank you! He is a keeper for sure!
Recipe looks good BUT hubby's pot stirrer is GENIUS‼️He needs to start selling those 😊
Thank you Andrea, I told him to make 10 to start with!
I am really impressed with this canning tool! You have yourself a very smart hubby there! Take care and God bless.
Thank you! I think he is pretty smart! God Bless!
Looks like a great soup. I don't think we've ever cooked with tomatillos before. Great invention from hubby! That might be his million-dollar invention! Cheers LeAnne!
Thanks Rich! I know he is so smart that he might have a few million dollar ideas.
This looks like a soup my husband would love. What a lovely husband you have, making you the pot stirrer! That’s really neat!
The pot stirrer is amazing! I think your husband should sell them.
Thank you! When he handed to me I had no idea what it was but I was about to make pizza sauce for canning and then I fell in love when he explained it. He said for us to make to sell it and make it worth our time the price point would be $350. Maybe we can sell the pattern??
Very nice Howard. Good for you LeeAnn
Yes, thank you
That pot stirrer is an awesome idea! Others are right, he could market them. Your soup looks great too. Many Blessings!
IM trying to get Howard to make a couple to sell and see what interest there is!
Hubby should make these and sale them. I would definitely purchase one. 💜
I will keep you in mind. Im trying to convince him to make 10 to sell.
The hubs loves you enough to make your life easier 🥰. How handy would his contraption be when making jam and jelly!.
The soup seems like a good use of preserving your garden. I like a but if heat, some don't, just adjust to your tastes.
He does love me!
Love the pot stirrer. We aren't fans of cilantro either, I just use parsley instead. If I make this I will definitely tone down the heat. Neither hubby or I like really hot food. Thanks for sharing.
Looks good. Love soup on the shelf
Yup another one i need to Can! Almost out of soup i canned last year. Thanks for sharing LeAnne!
It might be hot enough for Jesse???
One of my favorite sounds to hear is popping that seal on home canned food😍
LeeAnn this is a great way to put all of some of those vegs. into a jar !!! I am glad you made this video !!! I miss canning a lot and am going to be doing it more often !!!
Wow… that stirring tool is Genius!😮
Yes farmers are pretty smart!
This looks SO amazing! Howard really did a great job on that pot stir!!
Wow that would be great for any cooking I hate stirring because my nerve damage acts up. Soup looks great. Blessings and Prayers, so good to see you back. Thanks so much
Cilantro tastes like a bar of soap to me. I always substitute parsley. The pan stirrer is wonderful!!!
Great recipe, thanks for sharing!
Thumb up to Hubby. My mother always sat her jars in a 8 inch square baking pan when she filled jars. If by accident it broke, the mess would be easier to clean up.
That’s good tip! Thanks!!
LeAnne, what an awesome tool! If your husband patents that bad boy, put me on the list. Your soup looks so good! I loved your comment about the measuring tool: “ ask me how I know.” 🤣🤣🤣 Happy canning!🎉
Will do!! I got him thinking about it!
Love Love Veggie soup ...great idea on the invention
Oh wow, Looks absolutely delicious.
That's awesome, your hubby made it for you, pretty dang cool!!
The recipe looks delicious. Your husband is a genius on that stirrer.
Haven't watched any of your videos lately. Happy to see you still in my feed. :) I've got a freezer full of tomatoes waiting to be canned up....just haven't decided WHAT. :P
I'm glad I am still in your feed too!
“Ask me how I know” lol I’ve done the same!😁
This soup looks great!!
What a cool contraption! Bravo, Howard!! I'm kinda wimpy when it comes to things being too hot. You can never tell with jalapenos. Sometimes they are killer hot and sometimes like a bell pepper. I have my hubby test them now before I determine how much to use. I think this soup would be good with the addition of black beans. And cornbread. OK, now my mouth is watering... Thanks, LeAnne for another great video. Sounds like you have a bit of a cold. Praying you are well in no time!
Thanks Lori, yes I have a head cold and today is the third day with it and the worst. Yes my husband is very smart, so smart his acts dumb when I’m sick and we need to eat! Lol
This sounds & looks absolutely amazing! Oh my goodness, vegetable soup is my all time favorite soup. I can't wait to make this version of it! Thank you for sharing 🖤
Hope you enjoy! Thanks for watching!
That is awesome!!
Looks good Thanks
You did great with this! It looks wonderful in the cans or the bowl!
Your husband did great on that invention!
Thank you so much Robert!
Great job hubby on the tool! Patent that immediately! Soup looks amazing. You were having fun with the ingredients!
Yes He is so smart like Ryan!
Thanks! Your new kitchen tool is awesome!
Glad you like it!
Looks delicious I’ll have to try this this summer. I’m going to be canning some potatoes and vegetable soup today.
Yup, definitely making this soup. Think I'll wait till the garden gives up its bounty of tomatoes. And corn. Thank you for this video. I don't think I'd have going the recipe without your help.
I’m glad I can inspire you to can new things!
love that kitchen tool!!
Me too!!
Sounds great. I’ll have to try.
I love that kitchen tool
Love the pot stirrer
Awesome recipe
The pot stirrer your DH made is great! It reminds me a bit of the Ardente gourmet stirrer I bought a few years ago, except that one is battery operated and doesn't look as sturdy as yours :-)
I think this stirrer will last me!
Great tips, can't wait to try this soup!
Yay! Enjoy!
I love your pot stirrer!
Hey hey LeAnne!! Wahooo this looks so yummy! I am hopeful I will be able to can some things really soon! I have several items to get done!
You can do it!
Looks great and love the tool husband came with you.
Yes! Thank you!
I like the tool! Nice work there.
Great video, looks delicious
Thank you 😋
Thank you for a great recipe
My pleasure 😊
Wow this looks delicious! I love the heat, this would be enjoyed in my house.
OH WOW! This is neat, I love to invent things too! Lemme see this now.
I have the same chopper and it really helps. I hope I can remember to try this next summer because it looks delicious.
Hope you enjoy
I'm here reminding you about canning this soup 😁
This was awesome and I love the pot stirrer great idea🎉
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
thats a wonderful idea thats the best idea ever if i had the money i would buy one from him
So true about cilantro...I love it!! Thank goodness so does my family!
I am glad someone does!
This sounds really good. Will definitely have to make some.
Hope you enjoy
Pot stirrer is amazing
I did not know they are coming out with a line of jars. I look forward to seeing their jars in my house in the future. Love the video and glad I found you =)
Welcome! I’m glad you are here too!
That soup looks yummy! And, Hubby gets a thumbs up for making a great tool to help you in the kitchen!! Good job!!
Yes! Thank you!
Pot stirrer is amazing g.
I live in Jonestown PA in Lebanon county ! I recently stumbled on your channel needless to say I love your videos
Welcome Wendy! I’m so glad you are here! I’m about two hours west of you.
Loving the automatic stirrer! I'm putting it on my wish list right now. 😊
I love it!
Hi LeAnne! Wonderful recipe thank you. Your husband is very creative and did an awesome job on your pot stirrer. Also loved your idea of putting the half-sheet pan under your cutting board to maintain a cleaner work area... especially with peppers! Happy New Year! Blessings on your day Kiddo!🥰🌻🐛
Thanks so much! 😊
love veg soup!!!
WOW Leann!! I am learning how to make cheese and that pot stirrer is fantastic. When making cheddar you have to stir for FORTY MINUTES!!!!!! Can wear you out! The timing of this video is perfect! ❥
You are so right! My Mothernlaw made cheddar once!
Great idea your husband had
I think so too! Thank you 😋
Ah ha! I’m not the only one that doesn’t like cilantro! Great tips, thanks 👍🏻
Thanks for watching!
These days I love stuffed peppers or raw peppers red orange or yellow with dip😊
That soup stir stick is awesome! That soup looks so good, I'd personally have to cut way back on the hot spices, but otherwise that is a very beautiful, healthy and hearty soup!
Yes, It was too hot for my test buds.
WOW LeAnn that is one nifty handy dandy invention. Your soup looks good too.
Yes I am blessed to have that tool and a wonderful husband.
I have missed you and your videos
I'm here. I just got over a head cold.
That soup looks gorgeous.
Your Howard is brilliant!!!!
Yes Howard is very smart. I’m blessed to have him.
Love the pot stirrer. He needs to patent it!
I'd definitely buy one! After my shoulder replacement surgery, I have trouble continuously stirring, let alone just stirring anything.
This soup looks delicious. I like the tool your husband made. Very nice. Thanks for joining my #jaritup2023 challenge.
The Pleasure is all mine!
Your soup looks so inviting. I don't like hot with spice things, but love vegetable soup. Your husband invented a good thing. He ought to sell it.
Good video
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for watching danielle marceaux!
Wow, Howard's pot stirrer is amazing. I can see how that would be useful for so many different recipes and not just canning. Hubby dislikes vegetable soup but I think this one with the Southwestern taste might just pass his tastebuds test. Sounds like it would be too hot for me too, thank you for sharing the recipe and your opinion of it.
I’m trying to talk him to making maybe ten to sell… it’s his slow time of year to work on small projects.
No there’s a pot stirrer you can get. I have one I use for cheese making
Le Anne awesome veggie soup..Howard has a great ideal, work like a charm..🥰💕🍲🥣🫙
YES it does!
That pot stirrer is genius! Great job Howard!! If he makes some more for sale, i would definitely be interested!! The soup sounds so good and I’m gonna try making that one for sure. We love the heat in our dishes out her in NM. Lots of green chili and jalapeños here. Thanks again for sharing your experiences and recipes with us. 😊
I haven't connivence him to make any more, apparently farming pays more.
Awe shucks. Well if he changes his mind, be sure to let me know. 😉
Hi Leanne! I wanted to let you know, I made your homemade bread recipe today. It turned out gorgeous! I was using the Amish sweet bread recipe, but I think I like recipe much better. This way, I am only making 1 loaf, instead of 2. Keep up the good work! Blessings from Sherman's Dale.
That’s great! Yes, one loaf at as time is better for smaller families! Tell Perry County I said Hello!
Nice soup can’t eat though if it’s too hot for you. It would make sick. I’m going to make it just leave out all the spices I can’t have. Thanks for sharing get better soon
The big Bertha peppers mature from green to red LeAnn You probably know this I used to eat these sweet peppers from the garden like apples 🤣😅
I need to grow more of those peppers
Cool pot stirrer! Is he selling them? Sounds like you might have a cold in this video! 🤔. Soup look delicious. Thank you
I have asked him to make ten to see if we can sell them… I did have a horrible head cold! Thanks Vickie!
LeAnn! The soup looks delicious, especially since I am watching this video in January. However, I am with you, I don't like real spicy foods/hot foods. I like to be able to taste my food and not the burn. Anyway, I will have to watch some of your dehydration videos. I am very curious about that process. Thanks again!
Thanks Ruth for watching!
Where did you bet your Big Bertha seeds? This recipe looks delicious.
I got the starts at a local green house. The green house has reasonable prices on their plants.
I just love your channel , and all of your recipes wish we were neighbors.
Thank you for watching JP! I am glad you love the channel!
GET THAT PATENTED AND ON THE MARKET THAT IS SO COOL
Looks great Leanne, but I wanna hear that pop of a good seal happening.
I hear ya Cyndi!
I’d definitely tone down the heat and some black beans would be really good in it also.
Black bean would be awesome in this soup!
Slowly working up my confidence to start canning something by watching your videos. That soup and sandwich at the end looked delicious! I have a bunch of Ball jars in a closet, which were used years ago for various non-canning type storage. I have all the bands and lids that came with them, but I'm seeing that getting a new set of lids would be a good idea, and the jars/bands can be used after a good wash. Thanks again for all the knowledge! And just to confirm, is this the same vegetable soup you used in your butter beef leftovers soup?
Yes, I use the vegetable soup base in alot of my cooking. I even make casseroles from it!
Hubby did a great job would be nice for jam making. Looks good but probably to spicey for me.
Ned to can THIS
LeeAnn,I feel like you don't make enough videos. I miss seeing you between videos.
I feel the same way... I have been so busy with life... right now I have a head cold.
Thanks for watching!
