September has flown by. Can’t believe it’s almost over. Started September strong, leaving September stronger. Thanks to Sydney’s “let’s try” comment during shoulder press today, I attempted and succeeded using my 25lb dumbbells. I may have only completed 4 or 5 reps during the work period but I DID IT!!! Bring on October, I’m ready!!
Each day I complete another workout fills me with so much gratitude for having the ability to move my body. This community has been my greatest discovery and my greatest achievement in a long time. mentally it makes me feel strong, physically it makes me feel strong.. Im so proud of each and everyone of us..the changes in this almost 50 year old body make me smile...thank you thank you thank you

I’ve lowered my expectations this month bc I realize that I usually shoot for unrealism. So this month I am working on being C O N S I S T E N T isn my workouts. I completed 12 of the 20 workouts last month. My goal is simply to exceed that number. Also, I want to actually do the stretches. Since last spring I have done two Sunday stretches….how embarrassing🥴…bc I underestimate their value. I went to stick my head in the freezer right before the clean and squats and I am glad I did bc I died at the end. When you tell yourself “ YAY❗️” for thesse burpees bc the mountain climbers had finally ended….thats next level appreciation right there😆 See ya tmrw😘
My strength has improved so much!!! I reached for my 12.5kg/27lbs dumbbells for shoulder presses today & managed 2 on each arm before dropping back down to 10kg/22lbs 🎉🎉🎉
AHH I am ecstatic! I had a migraine when I woke up this morning, so had to rest all morning and then around 5 I thought I could do this. I am SO happy I did because even not feeling my best I managed a PR of 25lbs shoulder press with solid form and then even managed that for the squat and press. Now to go drink a ton of water and soak up in the bath. 😅 Thanks again Sydney for all you do, you motivate me to get my butt in gear and just try my best, no matter what that is for the day. Today was my last day at my building’s gym. It has been such a privilege to work from a place that has all the equipment for me to push myself, and I will be very sad to leave it. My next home set up won’t be as good but I will make it work and I’m really grateful that at least I will still have Sydney’s workouts to look forward to. In this economy I can’t appreciate such quality free content enough. ❤ Thank you!

(47:33): "Everything that you commit to, when you're in the mood to commit to that goal, has to stay happening when you're no longer in the mood. That's a prime example of motivation not being everything. It's dedication, it's commitment, it's why you're doing it. That keeps you coming back on the days where it feels lousy to show up." (48:30): "Don't give up when you're not in the mood or when you're not motivated. Do it because of your why." This reminds me of one of my favorite quotes from habits guru James Clear: "Every action you take is a vote for the type of person you wish to become. No single instance will transform your beliefs, but as the votes build up, so does the evidence of your new identity." When you anchor your goals to your identity, you rely on dedication and commitment to that identity and your why, rather than relying on mood or motivation.
I am finally back after being sick with an awful flu for 3 days, I missed my workouts with Sydney so much, today I am thankful for my health, I am thankful for my body and it’s ability to heal. I am sooo happy to back 🙏🏻♥️💪🏻

whewwwwww - another great one! My favorite super set was the one with side lunges and twists! My core is already feeling this one! but my most favorite was Sydney's encouragement at the end. "Don't give up because you aren't in the mood, or when you aren't motivated - do it because of your WHY"!! If you guys tend to turn off your video before the motivational part - I encourage you to STOP that! Watch ALL. THE. WAY. Sometimes that part is more empowering than the workout itself!! Showed up today and I am proud of myself. Almost talked myself out of it because I had severe stomach episode yesterday and I am still a little sore from that. But I showed up---modified the ab moves to allow myself the space and grace to not aggrevate the situation and I worked hard in all the other moves!!! I am strong. I am getting stronger!!! Thank you for the awesome workout! I've gone from bodyweight to 20 lbs total for my lunges this month. I've gotten stronger in all other areas too. It was so frustrating to feel weak but I had to remind myself that with consistency, I would get stronger. I just needed to show up for your workouts. So thank you for making that easy. Positive message for myself: I'm so proud of myself for sticking through it. Now, the difficult part will be keeping up during "back to school" chaos but I believe in myself. Its been a very tough month for me with family sick and having to quarantine and im proud to say I've worked out with your videos every single day I've been stuck inside at home to keep making progress how I can with the circumstances I'm given. Loving this month!! I think circuit one was my favorite today.
I love this format with longer work periods and shorter rest periods. I'm able to get a combined cardiovascular and strength workout.
I seriously loved this one! It pushed me so hard, and I felt so strong after. Can’t wait for more from you Sydney

This is my favorite program to so many reasons. I feel so strong and I am consistently challenging my ED brain and that’s hard but so worth it. thank you Sydney for make this a priority!
Love full body workouts especially on Mondays! The rest time in between seemed too short at first, but I was able to catch up.

I did this workout today. Man this was so hard. Loved how she combined 3 body parts into a circuit. Definitely getting stronger.
Love love love these workouts...intervals are 👍 👌 👍 👌 👍 👌 👍 👌 I get more out of the workouts! The squat press are the best...was able to chest press 40's I felt "THE STRONG" in me...thanks to my hubby who I asked to spot me..😉 of course...KNOW YOUR WHY!!

So glad I brought my weights and equipment on my RV trip to not miss the last week. Ready to start my hiking adventure now. I liked the squat into shoulder press segment!
Had an amazing long weekend and this was just what I needed to not only enjoy this last day off, but to get my butt into gear for the adulting that must be done so the rest of the week goes smoothly.
This was my first workout back with you, Syd. We recently moved 1,000 miles and I joined a gym. I lasted 6 weeks and got bored. I’m back with you now!
