Did that center bolt (the one where you left out on the diagram) have a rubber seal on it? Did it tighten to spec? 8 ft. Pounds? Mine seems to keep spinning and I’m scared to go any more… funny my center spark plug is the one that had oil on it too… makes me wonder about that center bolt..

I do not see a seal for the center bolt in my pictures. Will check the manual for the torque later

Middle bolt is 7ft lbs. There is a specific order to tighten it. There might be a 0 ring from the top in the service manual.

@@fenix0green thank you. How is yours holding up without the 0 ring? Any leaks in that middle spark plug?

why didn't you replace the rear engine valve cover gasket?

I had to open the valve cover for the front spark plug tube gasket so i had to replace the gasket. Rear are okay at this point.

@@fenix0green at this point being the next few months? If one bank has rock hard leaky seals, the other bank is right behind it, and due for a failure. Intake gaskets are probably also hard.

@@TheRogerhill1234 back bank is okay for now. Waiting for a misfire then ill change the spark plug, gasket, and ignition coil and so forth when its time

      (1) Do you fix shit that isn’t broken?!?
      (2) Do you know how hard that back valve cover is to get to compared to the front?!?
      (3) That back gasket may run another 100k miles without leaking, wait until it leaks.

Thought you needed to disconnect the battery before disconnecting coils?
