Absolutely beautiful. Searching. Running. This and Dale & Grace Leaving it (all) up to you. You would think there was someone else on the line, but if so the groom will be surprised. "Groom? Have you experience with horses?" No, I've bean lucky that way. What brought you to this isde of the pond? "Uhm--you may ask."
1977 on #mymusicalroadto50 Electric Light Orchestra - Sweet Talkin’ Woman So this was where my fixation on the Electric Light Orchestra started..oh and record collecting. My sister (yes, her again) came home with this single. The cover had the bands touring spaceship on the front with lasers. And the record was purple! PURPLE!! I’d never seen a different coloured record before other than black. What was this magical thing?! Mysister, obviously quite aware of this, wouldn’t let me near the thing! MUUUM!! Can you buy this this please! PLEEEASE!! After tying my sister to a chair and interrogating her (well not quite) she finally buckled and told us it was purchased at the local Tower Records in Walton. Hurrah! My mum agreed to get me one next week, and that was a looong week to wait when I was 5. Anyway the day came and I was handed the bag and.... it was normal black and no picture sleeve. Nooo! My mum said “sorry they didn’t have any more in stock, only these ones”. Still I had the single. And I listened to it a lot. My dad, not long after came home with the double album from which it came from and gave that to me. RESULT!! It came with a build your own spaceship kit as well! Oh and also a short while after that he got me 3 of their previous albums, one clear, one yellow, one green. My sister still calls me the golden boy to this day. Oh well. Ha ha.
A Masterpiece listening 2024 🎼🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎼❤💯
