  • I show 2 easy steps to reduce the black smoke emission from the exhaust pipe of my 2001 Kia Carnival (2.9L turbo diesel engine). I made the combustion process more efficient, dissolved carbon build up in the engine and decarbonized its exhaust system, all without removing a single part.

    Can this be done in a newer car with dpf and catalytic converter? Wouldn't this harm these parts or the sensors??

    • @TheAmerrauf
      @TheAmerrauf Год назад

      I wouldnt advise you to do to a car with a catalytic converter. They are expensive and if you damage them, they can cost alot of money to replace. Goto a good garage and ask for their advise and solution if you are concerned.

    4000 rpm is way too much revolution. It should be fast idle, maybe about 1500- 2000 rpm

      as long as you park on a levelled surface, you should be fine. water always goes down and flows thru the path of least resistance -- your exhaust tip.
