Is it true at this specific time(mid 1700s) period in Paris, the royals and their court in Varsaille never bathed and just changed clothes and wore losts of perfume?
I'm sure they bathed, but not as frequently as we do now. Even centuries after the plague, people believed the bacteria in water could enter through your skin pores (I may be wrong though). They did use a lot of perfume to mask their bodily odor though, that is true.
The king supposedly only took two or three baths in his entire life. That doesn’t mean they didn’t wash themselves down occasionally, but bathing in general was not done often. Yes, it was the time perfumes became a big thing, but if you think about it, wearing perfume when you smell bad doesn’t really work. They also had awful teeth and combs for lice, so likely lice were an issue. And people relieved themselves all over the halls of Versailles.

Not so much. It was true at the time of Louis XIV. Hygiene was much better at the time of Louis XVI...
