Well, Marie Antoinette died in her late 30's, not especially young at that time. False accusations? some sure, but not all of them. Would you argue that she didn't betray France, she didn't try to reinstall the absolute monarchy ?

Erratum: She did not betray the republic but the constitutional monarchy. They wanted to reinstall the absolute monarchy and ended up with the republic instead.
