  • I am out of town right now with limited access to internet. For anyone new here usually I have the full police report written out in the description as well as an explanation of the legal outcome. There will also be no voiceover for this video as well. For this video I will add the report when I am back in town. I will be back to my regular format in about 2 weeks!

They're just making everyone else pay for the police to keep wasting time and resources without ever resolving the problem. There are any number of reasons for this but I would most likely assume they are avoiding any press at all on the increasing number of stolen items at stores lately, let alone press about a black non-citizen possibly stealing for survival. Besides, insurance pays off stolen items at a profit either way and dude really needs to get back to stocking those shelves or watching customers check themselves out. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't pay him for the time he had to deal with this and had him clock out or worse just edit it out later.

Hey Paul, idk if you realize your suggesting facism but thats what your doing. The power needs to be in the peoples hands, because once that door opens the bad cops are going to use it to target people they dont like. its that simple. That in turn, puts good cops in danger because more animosity is being bred. i guarantee that bad cops get more good cops killed than anything else, even if its not directly. Heres an example: someone gets arrested/ticketed for something super minor that doesn’t really mean much. however, the cop was super rude and disrespectful. that encounter might make said individual decide to just attack without thinking next time they see red and blue lights. Bad policies and bad cops put the good ones in harms way, because that Uvalde shooting taught us bad cops are more than comfortable sitting back and doing nothing when theres actually a risk to their own safety.

They made my life hell for a year of lying to the Courts to put me in anti-theft and community service programs and trying to make my parents pay thousands in "damages" (hiring more of these thuggish security who also apparently doubled as psychics in the pre-crime specialty division), despite the thing that I was allegedly going to steal only costing $22.
Full disclosure: I put a multitool in my backpack before paying for it. Security literally tackled me and dragged me to their office when I was on my way to the cashier's counters. Back then they would rather "bust" a suspicious teenager and risk a huge lawsuit (there was none, we were poor as hell and my parents were too busy with work to try and sue a corporation) rather than let me pay... all to justify their jobs, I guess. Now they're rather not pay for a beefy security team.

Shoplifters/thieves should be legally indebted to the property they stole if total is ≥$500.00 over all shoplift/theft history by which then any additional property stolen is either 125% of the property valuation as a ticket/bail determination for 1st offense, for 2nd offense it's 150% and for 3rd it's jail with no bond and indebted 200% of the property stolen if ≥ $200.00 per offense otherwise it's determinant on the owner. Oh and they don't keep the stolen property obviously. Punishments can be less severe if property taken is legitimately for essential needs (food/water/basic clothing/etc.).
Same should apply to car theft and grand theft auto where they are indebted to pay insurance deductible (if applicable) or 25% of damage (if inflicted) for 1st offense, 50% of total damages w/ insurance and deductible or 100% of damages for 2nd offense even if damage was inflicted by police and bail is revoked.
