That's funny. I just said the same thing before I saw your comment. It's maddening that they keep dropping all these charges just so these people can go out and do it all again, because why not right? Nothing will happen.
@@anitawatch it's ridiculous I have an ex who got caught in an even worse situation with her kids, she was passed out in the car and the cops found drugs and guns in a bag right next to them, and they're putting her through drug court and then clearing her record, she spent maybe a week or two in jail, it's unbelievable how dumb judges and prosecutors can be.
You have more people in prison than anywhere else in the world. Do you honestly believe people look at your country and say 'they don't lock people up enough there, what a joke?' Think about it.
Driving under the influence with a child in the car should result in a much harsher sentence than a standard DUI. There is no excuse to drive anyway, but having a kid in the car is beyond unacceptable.
She is a lowlife. Using her daughter as an excuse. She's drunk and driving with her baby in the car. That automatically makes her a terrible mother. Now she wants to attend to the baby but she needs to be arressted for neglecting the baby .
she brought her 3 year old on a date to cheat with her friends fiancé, got absolutely plastered, then DROVE with not one sober adult among them, meanwhile it’s 2am and that baby is still out riding around with two drunk adults. I am horrified. This seems like a choice a very young inexperienced at life mother might make, but this woman appears older than me (late 30’s) and she chose to do these things. I feel so incredibly bad for the kid and the doggo who got brought along for their secret rendezvous 🥺
I got hit by a drunk/high driver few years back, i was so ANGRY. the driver had a carseat in the back, luckily the child was at home. I hired a lawyer to sue him to further teach him a lesson, he had to sell his car to pay my settlements. He rambled about how last minute the child stayed at home cuz I asked him "do you have your kid?! are they ok??" he didnt ask us once if we were ok, my buddy couldn't walk for months due to a back injury..
Guilty folks often project that guilt onto others. The female officer attempting to be maternal to her daughter is perceived as a threat to her, because she knows she's being a terrible mom, which is why she reacts so aggressively to her being sweet to the child. This kinda stuff breaks my heart for the kids.
Pretty good insight, the mom getting mouthy with the officer, because she smiled at the kid? While mom is cheating with her friends lover. Great job mom!
Maybe, but I think it's more that she's trying to use the daughter as an excuse to disrupt the interaction and try to divert focus away from her. The way she keeps bringing her daughter up while the cop is talking to her about the field sobriety test heavily hints at that. And honestly she might be too dumb to realize what a bad mother she really is. Because if she knew, she probably wouldn't be driving drunk with her kid in the first place.
@@rars0n i agree, however there are people who are self-aware, but just too selfish, mindless, or stubborn to grow and be better. either way it's a very sad and unfortunate situation :/

What about the man? Why aren't people holding this grown man to a higher standard? Why didn't he do anything to stop this? Instead he got drunk and let it happen? He's such a feminist for not taking the lead.
Bad mother and probably not a good friend nor is her friends fiancé going to dinner without her friend and his fiancé in another town out and about a 2 am only the 2 of them and her daughter they probably messing around with each other. Bad mother, friend and fiancé
I love how she's super vicious to anyone who tries to talk to her daughter - yet she's driving her around 3 year old dead drunk in the middle of the night. DISGUSTING. Deplorable.
Everyone has to make a living the pimp was in the back because he kept the baby sedated with his breath while mommy made money with train noises when the bartender yelled last call She yelled all aboard
This screams of not only infidelity, child endangerment, reckless driving, dui, anything else I'm missing? Both these people are deplorable, that poor kid and dog deserve so much better.
Stellar parenting Mom. Allowing a drunk man to lay across the backseat of your truck with your Daughter while you're distracted with your drunk driving. Loving the judgement.
I don't understand why the hell they don't stop beating around the bush with the "exercises", and just give her a breathalyzer test! They would've gotten around to doing a breathalyzer after doing the exercises anyway, so why not just do it from the get-go?
She’s worried about a cop checking on her daughter yet she’s drunk driving with her daughter in the car at 2am in the morning! She’s definitely a keeper! I feel so bad for the child because she’s teaching her to act just like this. I mean honestly who takes their kid with them to party and doesn’t go home until 2am?!
She going all Karen because her stupid drunk ass thinks that she's controlling the situation. Then, in her drunken mood swings, she starts crying to the cop right after acting tough and getting all shitty with him. She thinks she's handling and all she's doing is providing a ton of slurring evidence to the prosecutor.
Right, the mother is dumb and should have kid taken away from her. She cares about her kid not interacting with the cops but she didn't care when she chose to drink and drive with her child in the back seat. I can tell she is a great mom.

She’s worried about her daughter crying but she’s not worried about putting her daughter at risk of crashing and being injured or potentially dying 🤦🏻♀️ SMH
I really liked when the cop gave her a good scolding towards the end: "You should be ashamed of yourself!" That was like word for word what I wanted to say to her. Good work, officer.
CPS should have been called and the immediate removal of the child put into a safer environment with other relatives should have taken place and she should have been done for child endangerment. If she only had the child cos she couldn't find a babysitter, she should have done the right thing and sat out what I can only assume is her and her best friends fiance going of to cheat. Utter scum if that's the case!
I just hope her daughter is young enough to not remember this. When I was 7, my mom took my friend and I “back to school shopping.” We were about halfway there when she rear-ended the car in front of us hard at a red light, causing her to get a concussion hitting her head against the steering wheel. By some miracle, my friend and I were both completely unharmed. My mom said she was going to get some water from the gas station across the street, and left us in the back of the car. The cops came, and my mom had locked herself in the gas station bathroom to hide. The cops showed more concern about us than she did, taking us into the squad car and had us sit there as I watch my mom get tackled and handcuffed. In the center console they found five empty mini vodkas. The cops took us to the station and got us snacks from the vending machine as we waited to get picked up, as my mom was now in jail. I’ll never forget the look of relief, guilt, and fear on my dad’s face as he rushed in and gave me a hug. We changed the locks to the house and he was able to get full custody of me. Still, it wasn’t over. Kids at school would make fun of me because it was all over the news in our small town. There was this monthly magazine in gas stations that was like “mug shot hotties” and my mom was in it that month. The dude checking out my dad and I at the gas station one day said someone we know was in it. It was so embarassing that we had to move across the country. Please don’t put your kids and other people on the road in this position, it is the most selfish scum thing you can do.
It's really wonderful to see her get so protective of her daughter. You know, after she drove around completely hammered with her friend's fiance that she's hooking up with on the side curled up next to her with a nice cold beer in arm's reach of the kid. But her daughter's safety and security comes first when talking to those mean police!
My mom is a drunk and when i was a kid told me "I drink to protect you!" - this MUST be what this mother is doing here, and the guy being there drunk too is just extra protection...those cops are just getting in their way
That poor child and dog. The only 2 that had NO choice in this situation. Seeing this is so devastating. Every child and dog deserves a parent but not every parent deserves either 🙄
That's what you think. Clearly the dog is the mastermind of this incredible caper! He hit the curb, saw the flashing lights, and hopped into the backseat, pinning it on the woman.
It makes me so mad when courts drop the charge that was the most impactful. Yes dui sucks, she’ll be screwed for a while, but being convicted of neglecting your own child is a charge you don’t move on from. THAT is what she needs to change this behavior. 1 bad night or lots of bad nights, it doesn’t excuse driving drunk with your baby, she needs punishment for it.
But what will happen to the child in reality if there is no one else to actually take care of her…you think the systems in place currently will benefit the child? Maybe in certain areas more then others but chances are the child won’t be any better of and that’s kinda the sad reality and probably why nothing further happened. Kinda need to hope a lesson was learned in this that’s all, there are parents like this who never even get caught.
@@thevalorousdong7675 you should read up more on the system. Strangely the judge made the right decision here. If she made the mistake again, I’d agree the child should be taken away.

@@jcalzada74 It was probably a split second drunk decision. Like "I can't get a ticket driving your car" or the guy just foisted it on her In the moment
She doesn’t give a damn about her daughters well being. She’s clearly trying to weaponize her daughter to illicit sympathy. I really feel for the daughter, she deserves a better role model.
People have been using their kids for personal gain for a long time. This is not a display of a person you does not care about their child. Yes she committed a crime. But the level of feelings for a child have nothing to do with this. Yes the child was in danger does not mean a child is always in danger under the individual's care. I agree she is a complete idiot. And yes in this moment was a bad parent.
You must've been new here. Every parent that gets caught driving stupid or sleeping at the wheel tries to use their kid as a bargaining chip to get out of it. I think that a lot of times they're so ashamed and embarrassed that they got caught being a bad parent, that they try to intentionally course correct by acting like they care about their kid, thinking they can talk their way out of it. Actions speak louder than words. They don't care.
It's nice of this guy looking after his friend's fiance taking her to dinner and looking after her on bed too!! Such a good friend!!! And i bet this guy is the father of the child!
I am so happy that the officer told her off like that! She absolutely deserves it! Most of the time you see dui arrests and the officers don't chew them out that way, even though they probably would love to.
I appreciate that as well, I just wish the prosecutor cared as much about the safety of children. I'm guessing they didn't pursue the charges bc she didn't have family close to take her daughter and didn't want to add another child to the system, which I get and I'm glad that little girl didn't have to pay for her mom's behavior that way. However, I don't think not picking up the charges is the right course either. Maybe defer it or something so if she endangers the child again, it won't be her first offense, so maybe they won't decide to not pursue the charges again. It's like the policy of some counties to always plea down first offense DV (without great bodily harm). The idea that they get a freebie is unconscionable to me.
they usually don't because they are too drunk to even remember what is going on at that time. Best to wait till the judge chews them out in court for their child endangering habits.
He has to be careful, though. She could file a complaint stating where in the police policy does it say it's ok to berate and lecture a driver? His job is to get her off the road. It's not going to register to a drunk person, when you try to tell them how ashamed they should be. She's drunk! The lecture should come from her partner or other family members. I wonder how many off-duty police, stopped for dui, are given a lecture? BAHAHA! I forgot about officer discretion! Hell just arrange for a ride home, or drive him home himself. Heck, I saw one cop passed out at a red light, with his foot on the brake, and vehicle in drive. Those cops, when they realized who it was, said, "this never happened". And ALLOWED HIM TO DRIVE OFF, WITHOUT BEING CHECKED OVER FOR A MEDICAL CONDITION. THEY KNEW IT WAS ALCOHOL. THEY SMELLED IT AND IGNORED IT. THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIRED!
@@lisagrafton2529 I'd say the officer handled his lecturing of the mother very well in this case. He snapped her out of the pity party she was throwing for herself in her own mind, and scolded her on the real issues at hand. Informing her on how selfish and dangerous her actions were, in the moments right after they happened. Just as her family, friends, and especially the judge should later on. It should mean more coming from the police or a judge though, they see the impact of choices like drunk driving all the time.
And your only going to hear about it more than that, before it will stop. History books will show you that every country in history that has implemented Communism, besides crashing the food supply on purpose to starve people, also reduce Police protection, while simultaneously increasing punishments for people who defend them selves. Sound familiar? By making us uncomfortable and angry, we will remain divided and easily manipulated. Manipulated to vote for our own demise, only to profit our leaders to unimaginable heights. We blame the Police for everything, while simultaneously tying their hands. But we don't actually blame the Police at all. The media TELLS us to blame them. The most useful of the idiots fall in line and blame the Police, accordingly. Rarely, but sometimes, it is the individual cop's fault. But usually it's his bosses bosses bosses bosses bosses bosses boss. I.E. some politician. The solution is to pay attention to politics more and vote more and vote for Constitutional / America first politicians ONLY.
So let me get this straight 🤔 - because she hears her daughter crying, NOW she's concerned about her? She wasn't concerned while she was driving drunk! Funny how that works! 🙄
@Joey The Goaty Brrrr Who gives a fcck..? She was driving DRUNK with a child, twerp. A drunk driver killed my husband and my twin sons on their 12 th birthday - October 31, 1987
After years as a firefighter having to put bodies of babies in bags just for this precise thing, I fully disagree with the prosecutor on that decision. Usually it's the Adam Henry behind the wheel that survives. Neither adult was responsible for the safety of that child. Hopefully CPS is involved regardless.
My bf's 4 friend wee killed in 2011 when a woman who had 2 prior DUI's and an earlier run in with the police the same day, was going 100mph in a 45 zone, flipped her van and killed all 4 of my gf's friends. Fuckin horrible. This was in Roseville Michigan. She received life, no parole.

Bruh prosecutors get these damn things 50 a week, they don't have time to take each one to trial, they r too busy fighting murder, rape and sexual assualt cases of minors. Having a child in the car when you’re driving under the influence of anything is disgusting! Some people think I’m overly harsh, but anyone who puts their children in danger in ANY way should lose custody of those children. Driving under the influence, keeping a child in abusive home, keeping the child in a drug environment, turning a blind eye as the child is abused (physically, emotionally, sexually), and in the most horrific situation, pimping their kids out and/or trafficking children to fuel their addiction is completely reprehensible. And it happens far more frequently than most people can imagine. My mother works for an organization that works to end human trafficking through many different programs (educational programs that raise awareness and train law enforcement, educators, CPS workers, etc to identify children at high risk more effectively and to intervene as early as possible. The organization employs and aids survivors as well, and their stories will curdle your blood.

It blows my mind that there's no requirement whatsoever to have a child. I realize that that there are civil - as well as basic - human rights, and no one can tell you what to do with your body outside of "Correctional" facilities, but man. It sure would be nice if there were screenings at least as rigorous as those required to ADOPT a child. As often as adopted children end up in unfortunate circumstances those screenings are better than nothing, which is what we expect of biological parents before they have a child: literally nothing. No checking drug history, no determining if they've ever assaulted or abused a child, no questions about if they know what resources will be needed or how to get help with those resources. Everyone in town can know for a fact that J.Q. A-Hole is a violent, alcoholic, thuggish, brutal, no-good-nick and that SOB can have as many kids as they don't want and nobody can say boo.

The Cops own words were "I observed the vehicle riding with the hazards on swerve into the median then bounce of a curb and almost crashed and that he didn't know how they even made it that far" yet the child neglect charge got dropped?????This proves how twisted this country is.
the thing that is twisted is people who don't understand how something works thinking they know how something works. Those cases are difficult to prove and take up vast quantities of court time that you and i pay for. Focusing on felonies and dismissing misdemeanors is nothing new , it speeds up court by keeping cases straightforward and simple for a jury full of people who are often less intelligent than the average person.
Having seen this a hundred times. He was driving and saw the cops. He jumped in the back and she jumped in the drivers seat. That’s when they hit the curb. He was clearly intoxicated
I've been looking for someone to mention this. Her purse was probably sitting on the center console and ended up in the back as he went. She caught a case for him... just sad.
Lol no. The cop would've easily saw him jump into the back seat. This is all on the girl. Everybody has to make up stories to white knight for females.
I guarantee her "getting help" was part of the charge being dropped. The state has a strong preference to not separate a child from the parents if it is not a case of systematic or severe abuse, especially a mother. In fact our state has an open preference on the side of the mother, whatever the case is. Unless the mother is absolutely hopeless, she gets custody. How they pretend that isnt discrimination i never understood.
Whoever decided not to prosecute her for child neglect should be ashamed of themselves. Our court system is such a joke
The DUI laws in the US are ridiculously lax. I can't believe what people get away with.
100 percent agree!
They usually do add a child endangerment charge.

You must've been new here. Every parent that gets caught driving stupid or sleeping at the wheel tries to use their kid as a bargaining chip to get out of it.
I think that a lot of times they're so ashamed and embarrassed that they got caught being a bad parent, that they try to intentionally course correct by acting like they care about their kid, thinking they can talk their way out of it. Actions speak louder than words. They don't care.

I don’t get pissed with these type of videos but this one I was
I am sure the officers felt the same way
@@lisagrafton2529 I'd say the officer handled his lecturing of the mother very well in this case.

I guarantee her "getting help" was part of the charge being dropped. The state has a strong preference to not separate a child from the parents if it is not a case of systematic or severe abuse, especially a mother.
