This 2014 Audi S5 owned by a buddy has been a daily commuter to NYC and the dad-mobile for a growing family. When he asked for help, I didn't realize the car was an absolute disaster. Multiple accidents, fender benders, and interior food fights turned this S5 into one of the dirtiest daily drivers I've ever detailed. A locked up front wheel also contaminated the paint with brake dust and I had to use unconventional methods to remove this contamination. Sometimes things just gets away from you. With 5 kids and a busy life I'm sure things just get out if hands and you just don't look deep into it.
Sometimes a car is sentiment mental value too and I'm sure he was upset his pride and joy car was so dirty.

The last sentence or two of this video speaks volumes about you Larry. At no point are you boasting or saying "look at me, look how good I am." You're incredibly humble and gracious.
I knew kids were the culprit, but once he said 5, everything made sense.
Now to be honest, I would be so ashamed if I presented my car in public like that. Respect Larry, extremely good job. Nothing can really stop you.
I always do a quick clean before i take my car for an oil change to avoid exactly that (although they clean the car as well). But the state of the cabin air filter suggests it's just neglect. Engine probably looks the same inside.
DO NOT ever let them “clean” your car at the dealer!

That's one of the biggest transformations I've seen you do, that was incredible. Your knowledge on exactly what products do and what you can use, and should use in various spots (like wheel cleaner on the doors) is astounding. Love watching you work, keep up the good work!

I have a ‘13 S5 manual and it’s so much fun to drive. As I was deep cleaning it last week I was kicking myself for waiting 2 months to do so. This just made me feel so much better about myself lol

@Audios2010 just got some new HRE's for it for the spring. It's actually pretty reliable overall, did some preventative maintenance and put an intercooler and stage 1 tune as well
@@Zondu if you are mechanical inclined, get familiar with the maintenance not just engine components wise but electrical and working your way around the interior. Unfortunately US doesn't have as strong manufacturing standards compared to our brothers over seas. Especially the ones out from Mexico 😬

As a dad, I can 1000% assure you that it looks just as bad but unlike dude in this video, I draw the line with my and my wife's car. There is no food, no drinks other than water and no exceptions to this rule at all.
What an incredible transformation. I get the guys story, but most people work their whole life to afford a car like this, and would never let it go so far well done.

This is the first time I've noticed the scangrip lights all around the top of the bay. Man what a sweet ass setup to mimic sun light on the paint.

My kids gave me that same Lego Porsche for Christmas last year. Great stuff as always Larry. The looks on his face when he was walking around in the studio just staring at his car were amazing.
Once again Larry, you've outdone yourself! You basically brought this S5 back from the dead. I would be embarrassed to even allow you to touch this without running it through a car wash of some sort. 5 years! Even if I had 10 kids, I would find time to wash my car even if it's the automated one.

Larry, that is AWESOME work! That thing (and I TOTALLY understand the kid-destruction) was a travesty of epic proportions LOL. Daddy's got his hot-rod back now! Maybe the kids are old enough to understand now about throwing trash in the trash and not eating in the car, but probably not. 🤣 Either way, that thing looks HOT now - you can tell by your buddy's immediate non-stop ear-to-ear grin that he's pumped up about his car again. It takes no time to not let the inside get dirty in the first place. Running it through a car wash, while not the best for the paint, takes five minutes. Even 5 minutes at a DIY car wash with the soap pressure washer would have gone a long way.

With all that work, painting, windshield, dent removal, and Larry's magic that this was maybe 5k.

This may have been one of my all-time favorites, but can’t exactly place why that is.
I know he paid for this detail significantly- especially with the bumper repairs but, damn, definitely worth it. You basically made it look near new again.

David replaced the windshield just a few weeks ago on my 2005 Honda CR-V the same red one that I drove by your shop with to say hello a week or so ago. It was nice meeting you Larry! I hope that perhaps my car, too, will make it into your shop someday! I think you'll be impressed by this one. This 2005 Honda CR-V is a 1 owner car, clean title with no prior accidents and it's also equipped with 4wd and a 5 speed manual transmission, and best of all no rust! Something that is extremely rare to find in a car of this age that has spent it's entire lifetime up here in the northeast! I bought this car in Mt. Kisco back in July.
