- This 2005 Ford GT was left outside for 5 years after the owner suddenly passed. The owner's family has brought the Ford GT to AMMO NYC for a full detail restoration and service so it can find a new enthusiast home. The iconic GT requires multiple washes, interior removal, paint correction, wheel refurbishment, and a full service to bring it back to a condition befitting of its value. I find all kinds of nests and surprises in various areas of the car. I call my good friend Doug Demuro to auction the Ford GT on his Cars & Bids website after the detail and he stops by the AMMO Studio for a fun drive. This is why it's so important to get a really ,really good inspection. Here you have a neglected collector car ,that now shows like it's been pampered/babied.
GT is one of the most interesting car designs that can stand the test of time. And definitely top 5 among the greatest cars ever made.

I love how much care you gave the car. Washing four times, knowing where "friends" may make a nest or destroy certain parts, bringing cleaning products with you to continue to clean at Ford. It looks like a brand new car!

"There's rust on the windshield wiper" - a true Ford experience! I owned a 1998 Contour V6. 170HP, manual, leather and power everything. Still the best car I've ever owned. But it had its foibles.

I saw Dougs' smiling face in the B-roll. Yeah, he is certainly the authority in getting the best deal because he has all the connections. I bet you as soon as you let him know this was coming up, he "made some calls". Such low miles, such a great detail, awesome make over. So sad to know the owner passed, but now his legacy is safe, bet ya he smiled from up there.

If you have a car like this (meaning valuable/rare needed paint correction and detailing) I feel like there are only a handful of guys in the World you should call and Larry is definitely one of them.
