    Welcome to this week's full body intermediate yoga class! This is an excellent yoga practice to build up strength, endurance and balance in your practice. You'll feel this in your glutes, shoulders and abs but rest assured you'll also get a great stretch.
    This is a 30 minute vinyasa flow intermediate class that requires two blocks. We'll go through poses like gate, laying triangle, goddess pose and reverse table top.
    As much as we focus on physical strength in this class, this is just as much about mental strength! Notice your internal dialogue when things get tough. Stay with your breath and see where this practice can take you.

    Thankyou Kassandra. When looking for new content ideas: Would love some new end of day/gentle stretch 30-45min practices when you have the time. Ones perfect to do after a long day, slow flows (rather than yin) Thankyou so much 🙏

      I usually do 2 of Kassandra’s evening stretches from the series, which will be around 30 mins in total. While I know some of them are yin yoga (I also prefer slow flow over yin) this might be a good alternative

    Oh one thing I admire in your practice more than any other yoga instructor is that you focus really on the breathe which is the whole point of yoga more than poses. Your fundamental to yoga is there and I can tell. My flexibility no matter what video I do is slowly improving and I really enjoy this aspect as it's helped me with my anxiety.

    I came to this one overheated and physically and mentally exhausted.
    And if not for your good humour and sage advice (focussing on the breath when the self criticism kicks in), I might have given up.
    But I didn’t. And I feel absolutely amazing!

    Thank you Kassandra. I love all your practices, but mornings is my time. I get up a hour earlier so I can get on my mat. I loved this morning's practice particularly as I go straight from my bed to my mat and no better way to truly wake up and set the day with a fast physical work out. I loved the mental part as well.. I've never noticed my internal chatter until today.

    This was a challenging practice today, but I enjoyed it. Found it a little difficult to go from warrior two to goddess. Something i need to work on. Thank you.

      I found that portion challenging too. My knees can get touchy sometimes so I slowed down, did less reps and focused on perfect knee alignment to assure safety.

    Hi Kassandra, I just started yoga today. I did the beginner morning stretch video then went right into this one. It was great! I recently injured by elbow ligament while strength training.     I usually do the 10-15 min practices because I often feel like I don't have the time for more yoga , so today consciously choosing a longer video felt so much more empowering than I expected it to. It's like I'm only now realising tht yes. I can take more than 15 minutes of self care a day, maybe even 30 or 60 minutes and it's going to be fine either way and it might help me feel even better? What a wild concept.
    Thank you so much for your videos, they really help me keep up a regular practice and I love coming back to them every morning, be it for 10 or 30 minutes 🍒🌟
