Good morning everyone! I'm so thankful to have you join me on the mat today. I'm going to take you through this 30 minute intermediate morning yoga practice for flexibility and energy. This is a morning yoga sequence to tap into the mind-body connection and set the tone for the day ahead. I want you to really go with the flow and trust yourself throughout this class! Be aware of your internal dialogue as you move through these poses.
We'll have a nice mix of flexibility yoga poses, strengthening yoga poses and balancing poses for a well rounded full body yoga class. I'm not using any props for this morning yoga class but you can certainly have some blocks close by if needed.

Cat Pulling Its Tail! Haven't done that pose for ages. No chance for the autopilot to engage today, this is a terrific, mindful, totally engaging practice. Thank you!

This video came out at such a perfect time for me! I usually go with 15-20 min yoga videos but this one went by so fast! Loved it ♥️
Right? I happened to have today off and thought why not, I've got the time! I'm so pleased I chose to do this one!
I started in November by doing the 10 min morning challenge. I stuck with 10 min practices until my body asked for more and now I try to do the 20-30 min practices. Now I am focusing on building leg strength and this practice is perfect. This is my fourth time doing this practice and I think Im going to stick with it for awhile. The invitation to watch my thinking really helps me and I feel so good in Cat Pulling Its Tail. Today I was able to hold the extended side triangle pose for the first time!! 10 seconds on each side!! Thank you Kassandra! My affirmation for today is productivity.
Sames! I do two 10 some days, then I found her app n went to her channel n dug dip n in last year she's added so many I can go back n do them w her new ones, I do 30 mins now unless I in hurry in morning. Then just 10 mins it is.
Definitely didn’t go as I planned but, I spent 30 minutes on my mat.

This was a beautiful class to start this Monday with. The Tiger/ Skandasana variation was pretty tricky, but also very fun! I also felt like pausing the video after the last flow to insert my Pincha practice 😂🙈. This flow was such a great build up towards this inversion. , As always a big thank you, dear Kassandra ♥

Now that I am retired, I have had time these past 4 days to do yoga with you every morning and it is doing its wonderful work again: the pain and stiffness in my joints and shoulders is disappearing. Thank you, Kassandra ❤

I do wish we could have couple more seconds in every pose, specially the strong flows which felt a little quick.. personally I love to feel the flow of the class in my body, and to actually go through a journey and not rush myself from pose to pose, even in strong sequences. thank you!

This flow was amazing! I was intermediate to advance for many years but then a break came when I went to college and now that I'm back, I'm super proud of myself for making it to the end of this practice.

the fun started at 15:30😊and yes! cat pulling its tail was neat, funny how such a slight adjustment creates a totally new sensation!
Here I am Day #2 on this one, muscle memory improvement already, I plopped a little softer, haha, from one-legged stand into boat. Wheee!!! BTW, I had a kickass day y’day full’o energy that “flowed” ...I’m gonna credit our practice together. Thank you, Kassandra, hope to see you again mañana! 🙏👯♀️🧘🏻♀️🥰💕
Not sure that one legged transition is going to happen in this lifetime! But I’m looking forward to doing this challenging class again and building on my practice 🙏🏻😊

what a great flow for day 61 straight of yoga. Its always great to return to where I started my YT yoga journey.
I really appreciate you clarifying that you're bending your knee in high lunge because of a sway back! I have scoliosis and have found it frustrating when past yoga teachers and physical therapists have pressured me into postures that hurt me more than they help me. Thanks for recognizing that proper alignment will mean different expressions of a pose for different bodies!
This practice made me so sore the next day, especially cat pulling its tail (i might have gone over the edge with that one). BUT it makes me so excited to do this flow again, so I can practice & see how much i improve each time I do this.
Always wonderful, I like to add a Plow pose and shoulder stand at the end....

Loved this flow for today! I woke up in a bad mood & needed time to reset, and this really helped. My intention for the day is Girl Scout cookies. I plan on buying 1 of each flavor so I can donate them to my neighborhood’s blessing box. It’s basically a mini food pantry. Everyone could use a little treat now & then. :)
When you said this was an intermediate yoga class at the end I was so surprised. For the last few months I have always been doing beginner classes, too afraid to do anything more than that. I was able to complete this class with a little bit of a struggle but overall at a comfortable pace/feel. Thank you so much. ❤️
I really liked the variation of this flow with some new poses that I either had never heard of or hadn't done for ages. Full confession; I definitely gave up part way through the single leg squat 😂 ...but managed most of the others. My sankalpa was to find balance in flexibility and strength. Thanks for your words of encouragement as ever Kassandra, namaste 🙏

Stability was the intention that popped into my head and I tried to fight it and choose another intention. But then when you used that word during the practice I knew to accept that as my intention. This class was fun and challenging! I don't know when I felt so "in the moment" during yoga practice as I did in your class this morning. Kassandra 🤩thank you for all your videos🥰! The one-legged squat!!! Loved this challenging class - caught myself doing some negative talk and changed the narrative. The 10-15 minute classes are my usual go-to but every once in a while, these longer classes are just what I need. Thanks Kassandra

I just retired in May and have been doing your class daily-even when I travel to far away places (Paris, Porto, Seville, Northern Michigan). Thank you for providing wonderful yoga. I have also gained so much from the Chakra practice.
