Test the A.F. for weddings situations

In lower light its not bad at all as at 1.2 it lets in a lot of light for it to see to focus. Not as fast as a Sony lens but at a wedding for non fast moving people it should be just fine for like dancing. I dont have a wedding reception coming up as we only do small beach weddings now days. The 75mm =s a 112 FF so I needed to be back around just over 20 feet to fit myself in wast up. Playing with it in my living room at night i can still focus around the room with no problem with very little light. When shooting the band it was not in bright light and it locked on right away to the face of each band member better then I expected. Once you get into any more light even in the shade you need a ND filter on to shoot at 1.2 for video unless you go into a much higher shutter speed.

Did you shoot jpeg or raw? Very nice colors

That was all JPG as I had no real raw support yet. The DNG converter now works so I am able to use that with Capture One. It was edited in Capture One.

Update you can shoot now at 1.2 with this lens on the new Sony A9 III as it will go to way high shutter speeds we could not do before. See the other new video on this showing this.

Not so good as a small lite travel lens but when you need or want the best bokeh for portraits or whenever its the best price cropped lens to buy.
