One thing I do appreciate about this lens on Fuji is the X-T4 can go up to 1/8000 SS as well as automatically switch to E shutter once my SS goes past 1/8000. This viltrox lens is one of my favorites in a while. Great lens.
F*ing ey Padley, love your enthusiasm. Got myself the latest classic (and my first system camera) a6700 with the sigma f/2.8 18-50mm. Going out for a lot of walks and trying to improve my skills, and you're a non-stop inspiration. Keep on, Curtis. I'm your biggest fan.
Nice POV dude, you always inspire to get out and do more street photography, something I haven't done much in a while, only a stones throw away but not been upto Whitby with my camera.
Hi Curtis I've just purchased this lens for using on my Fuji but as it's a cropped sensor it'll be 105mm FF equivalent. Really looking forward to trying it out. I shoot both Street and Landscape so will definitely use it for both. I also have the Viltrox 13mm f1.4 and that is an amazing lens. Viltrox are definitely ones to watch for future lens purchases
i do 75mm street photos with a industar and a fuji xa2. i an tell u, is very comfy not to be thaaaat close to people. but the bokeh is something to be careful specially in manual
Morning Curtis. Love your POV video's, always inspire me to get out with my camera. Just wanted to say, the pier/Bridge at 08.30 minutes....... on a bright day with the sun coming from one side, might make a beautiful shot with the light casting shadow's on the legs of the pier. I took a shot similar in an old monastery that the sun cast shadow's on the archway's..... i took years ago in Malta and its still one of my favourites. Anyway Curtis, all the best for now and thanks for the hard work put into cracking video's. Floss.
The way you wield your a6400, i will have to get that as my first ever camera to learn photography. I am trying to learn portrait and street photography, and thinking of starting with a sigma 56 mm 1.4 prime. I hope that’s a good decision!!
I love Whitby. I stay there at least half a dozen times a year and my photos never look as good as yours 😂 Mr Cooper's coffee house makes amazing coffee if you're ever back there again, and Scarborough offers quite a nice photo walk too 📸
i'm confused btw two lenses sigma 56mm 1.4 or sigma 18-50mm 2.8 which one is better option for first lense buy?sony 6400 with kit lense i'm still using..
How do you manage to get such good focus on those landscape shots with such a low aperture.. is that just the power of Sony continuous/single focus mode? Or are you spot focusing somewhere in the middle usually?
Cool POV, challenging venue, mix of fine images, Curtis. Couple and topside view of fisherman my fav. Under the pier a great spot that I suppose you will return to. I don’t understand your lens exposure point. Doesn’t the cam offer another stop downward by choosing extended ISO value 50? What about e-shutter and exposure compensation? Would f/stop down to 1.4 or 2.8 be all that bad - you could blur background in LR/PS? BTW, nice fur-lined jacket - a new item? Cheers!
Thanks mate! Yeah no expandable settings, no lower ISO, nor faster aperture! Don't wanna blur background in software, I always wanna achieve it in camera 📸 Yeah it's fairly new jacket, only worn it a few time haha 🤙
How is this Viltrox 75mm compared to Samyang or other 85 mm you have? I have Samyang 85mm, I'm debating whether getting the viltrox 75mm will make much difference. I love the 85, but It is too tight most times, and wondering if 75mm will give me a bit more room, or not much difference.
Viltrox 75mm is designed for APS-C cameras. Whilst 85mm is designed for Fullframe cameras. So, viltrox will be less zoomed in and have slightly more depth of field. Both are great options just depends what you require and want from a lens. Hope that helps! 🤙
@@182-media Honestly I don't think an 85mm F1.2 is needed, with the compression and Apeture on the 85mm F1.4, backgrounds look tremendous. Don't think most people wouldn't notice a difference between an F1.4 and F1.2
@@CurtisPadley well there will be a slight diffrence but they probably will not. Going to Get sigma 70-200 If its better then Sony like every other lense they make

Thanks a lot :) I love your POV‘s. Makes me want to go out and take some photos.
That's awesome! Thanks mate! 🤙
I started watching your videos a month ago, now I have an a6400 with a go pro 12 😅
That's awesome! 🤙 Enjoy your cameras mate 😁
I can totally relate to that😂
I just bout my a6400. Any good tips
I’ve just bought a Sony a6100, can’t wait to learn more from your channel! ❤
Fuji x-s10 was better choice

Waited for the review for long time. Big fan of your work.
It's really nice there and your photos are amazing 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks! 😁
Hey Curtis! I'm glad to see I'm not the only one doing street with that 75! Nice!!!
Finally, it's here!
Beautiful photos! More POV with sony Zv E10 please!
Do you think viltrox 75mm f1.2 better than sigma 56mm f1.4 in photo & video ( autofocus ) ? Thanks before ..

Now the A6700 has ISO 50, this lens is very tempting wide open!

Did you decide? Id go for the 18-50 first imo
Me too would go for 18-50
which one would you choose between viltrox 75 f1.2 and tamron 17-70 f2.8 for street photography?
Curtis Padley

my favorite!
How do you manage to get such good focus on those landscape shots with such a low aperture.. is that just the power of Sony continuous/single focus mode? Or are you spot focusing somewhere in the middle usually?
I also have a 6400 and im often topping out without an ND filter.. probably gonna need to buy.. and for video its even harder to manage yea
How do you rate this lens compared to the Sigma 85mm?

Hey man, can i ask how you do the slider transiton to show uneditied and edited photos? Thanks!
BIG question Viltrox 75mm F1.2 or Sigma 56mm F1.4 ? - Please create video about it as fast as you can
All in due time my guy! 🤙
Yes please! Definitely want to see that comparison!
They are so similar, both very sharp, the Sigma is super compact but it can't touch the bokeh DOF of the viltrox.
Such a G 👏🏻
Btw small correction, it’s a Ferrari F8 Tributo not a 458 Italia 😀
a6400 no ibis, is viltrox 75 have stabilization? for video ...
NIce work. I am still using A6400.
The photos are amazing
Thanks! 🤙
Its that for apsc camera?
is it okay to use full frame lens on apsc camera?

it's definitely higher.. the photos look more like 100mmish.. the same goes for the f1.2 which is translates to 1.8

So, viltrox will be less zoomed in and have slightly more depth of field.

Might have to pick this one up! $550 USD isn't bad
Hello. I made a similar video, can you give me any tips on how to do it better? What am I missing? Thank you.
Is dream but i have 85mm 1.4f Samsung. I love 50mm 0.95 Monster bokeh 😅
Why not step up the apeture in these well lit areas?
For the purposes of using that F1.2 to achieve some insane depth of field.
I didn't know the max shutter speed was 1/4000 on the A6400! (My X-H2 can shoot at 1/180 000).
Can you do the Viltrox 85mm f1.8
Already have done! 😎🤙
Are you using manual white balance?
Auto White Balance 📸
@@CurtisPadley thanks for reply
What software do you use to edit your photos?
Lightroom 💻
Brother i need this video all photo preset , how can i get this? please help😢

would love to see you use this in london at night like the sigma 18-50
Sadly there is no fullframe e mount 80 f1,2.... SIGMA IM WAITING!!
You'll be waiting a while, 80mm isn't a common focal length. Sigma do a 85mm F1.4 for Fullframe. Hope that helps

B. The North

Thats a great work but my ears got colonized by your british accent... o ghhhaaaddd
