So this was actually a 127.5mm with the 1.5 crop and you still crushed it when most people shy away from 135mm for street photography 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks dude! Would really like to try a 135mm prime that be 🤯
@@CurtisPadleyHello, brother, I got interested after this video, I liked and subscribed, can you make a video about cameras that can take good photos at a low price, thanks.😊
sony a6000
@@javoxir_100daraja
the floating staircase is a once in a lifetime shot
That staircase shot is actually amazing!
This video is so inspiring for a beginner like me because I am a shy person and it looks fun seeing you working that camera as I have the same model as well but I don't know if I am mentally strong enough to go out and just shoot like you did especially taking photos of strangers as people would probably looking at me like I am some sort of paparazzi or something haha.
I just got an a6100 and I feel the same, but honestly don’t even worry about it and just do your thing! As long as you don’t invade peoples personal space you should be fine. People might even be interested in what your doing, and will let you practice taking pictures of them if you ask.
A zoom lens like this will allow you to take nice photos without invading people's privacy.
That's probably the best a6400 video out there. Beautiful pictures.
It's my dream lens. Until now I can't have her. Because the price was high. Thank you friend with your vlog. I'll work more and save up
you can consider 85 viltrox 1.8
@experimental i feel ur pain brother but it hurts more when you don't have any cameras yeah that's me without camera
this lens used to be in my wishlist too since it first came out. only now i am able to have one. i bought it used tho. but still i am amazed with the detail, sharpness, color and the subject separation. i used to add a little contrast and sharpness on my photos back then but with this lens, it’s like everything i shot, looks better straight out of the camera. back then i can only afford yong nuo 85mm f1.8. it was the cheapest 85mm for sony back then. around $300. but i still have fun using it for about 3 years. it is a pretty good lens. if you could throw in another $60 or so, you could get a viltrox. it’s on par with yong nuo, just a little sharper i think. anyway, i pray you’ll have this lens real soon.
2 years later and I’m still learning a lot from this
1) Don’t fear full frame on apsc
2) Shooting wide open in daytime on moving subjects is doable
3) 122 focal length can be used anywhere
4) Experiment all the time
I recently bought the A6400 with two Sony lenses (16-50 and 24-70) and I love this camera. Even though i am still learning theres so much this camera can do, i use mine almost daily. Love these videos as they give me some great creative ideas and hopefully once I visit Norway I will be even better at taking amazing photos.
Hello Curtis, the Street POV is very nice, shooting people on street, have you ever had any trouble or their concerns?
There’s a few places in Manchester I’d be wary of ….
❤❤🏳️
Most photography videos I watch (especially gear reviews), have such underwhelming photography. This video on the other hand was just amazing. Phenomenal shots!
this is still pretty mediocre, but some shots were good - staircase to heaven for an example. The rest is ok - still better than most of these "photographers". The common problem is that these photos don't mean anything. They are just pictures with no emotion behind them.
@@MrBlackSwarm Go create something better then...? Really don't understand pointless critiquing when you don't really have anything exceptional to show yourself. Focus more on your own art and less on criticizing others. This was an excellent video with a lot of great images, some of which in my opinion, have plenty of emotion.
05:51 let's all take a moment to appreciate this amazing photo
Been watching a lot of pov street photography but this one’s on top of them! I mean the shots are effortlessly stunning! ❤ new subscriber here! You really deserves more subs and views! Hope you keep doing this pov videos 🙏❤️
bro every side you look is perfect..wft this place
I just love this video and your shots. They were so damn good man. Gonna watch this video again and again for sure
Ayyy thanks awesome! Thanks man! 🤙
daaaaamn.... 85mm on a crop body is craaaazy! great shots!
Yay....been a bit....glad I was browsing the YT. Hope you feel better soon. Great POV as always.
Ayy thanks! Yeah feel much better now 🤙
Great to see someone from Manchester doing this great job mate
Awesome vid Curtis, my favourite photos were the ones of the people on the tram they are insane
Thanks mate! 🤙
What a cool and motivating video with damn beautiful pictures! Well done, keep up the great work 💪👍
How did you learn all this? Do you have any tips for beginners?
Thanks dude! I have done some video about street photography tips, might be some help! But do aim to do more tutorials in the future to really help people out! 🤙
This was such a good day! You got some smashing photos!
I love how my curls look at 15:44! Though i definitely needed a beard trim!
Ayyy definitely mate! Nah you get a beard win! Compared to me I looked awful that day 😂
How come this channel doesn’t have 1M subscribers!? Come one! Don’t sleep on this dude!
Just stopping by to compliment this thumbnail. Holy Lord it's good!
All credit has to go to @cameralizardphotos 🤙
Hey guys hope you enjoyed today's POV! Update on the presets there are now 143 on offer!! Can't wait to see what you create using them! 🤙 curtispadley.com/product/ultimate-preset-pack/
I love these POV videos, can watch them for hours!
Love that photo of staircase to heaven! 😀👌
Every photo is breathtaking! 😮😍
Didn't disappoint awesome video buddy
You convinced me to get the Sony 85mm F1.8 (not 1.4 since it's way cheaper and has faster autofocus). Can't wait to try street photography with it.
Love the shot of the two trams! Looks sick!!
My Favorite Lens 😍
WHOA amazing!!! thanks for the video
wow 2:55 is such as clean shot! A vibe!
Love all these capture and POV! Noticed the dude with "swagga" was flipping you the bird at 17:47 😯
Haha I did 😂😂😂
I use this combo sometimes and I'm happy with the result
Great eye for composition dude. Nice post-processing too.
When you are taking pictures of people, the ones who are behind a mirror/glass in particular, I see there are reflections of trees and other people who are outside on the glass. But they were not captured in your camera. Were you using a CPL filter?
i have the a6400. now i want that 85mm. luv the bokeh!
Gutted, I was in Manchester yesterday, usually go ever Thursday, will meet up at some point, would have been great to meet both you and Jack, as for Trams they are a staple shot in Manchester, a must do shot or ten. I’m looking at getting the Viltrox 56mm for my Fuji Xt3 but not sure as I’m really thing of getting the Sony A7iii next year if funds allow that is.
Great video though, that “Church Building” is actually the back of Minshull Street Courts by the way. I was really annoyed with all the works in front of the Manchester Cathedral ( the old church), we were there in the afternoon and the light was awesome around there at 3.30pm
Must say, love the images Curtis, some food for thought there for some of my own work I’ve got planned.
These shots are exactly what I want to start getting more of. Trading a lense for this one,
Do you find aperture priority useful with the 6400?
Subscribed, bought presets
Thanks brutha
I haven't used it much but definitely has its benefits. Thanks for subbing dude and hope you are enjoying using the presets 👌
Good vid, I look forward to more of them.
Nice work Curtis, super fun to watch.
I never even considered a 85mm for a apsc camera but you have changed my mind
Definite Game changer! 🤙
Love your shooting style , great job. I'm considering to buy a 85mm lens for my A7iv and do you think there is a huge different between Sigma 85 f1.4 vs Sony FE f1.8 ? does it worth it to get the Sigma ?
Hey, nice photos. One doubt, are the final photos edited, or are all of them straight out of camera
cool photos and great photo trick..very helpful👍
Upgrading fromm my old Canon S120 (still love it) i was looking at the A6400 because i think new compacts are to close to my phone. But i thought i needed the viewfinder but now i see you don't using at all. So that brings the Sony ZV-E10 back in the picture..Choices choices
Hello, any tips for the best setup settings for photo/video for the Sony 6400?
I used to live in Manchester and worked my ass off back then for chef of the year 2006 Eyck Zimmer at The Lowry. :-D I love the accent!
love your work, thanks for sharing!
Amazing work! putting the 85 to great use!
20:00 literally caught the last photos of Bruce Wayne’s parents
Haha dude this comment is gold! 👌
I Wonder what happened to them, if only there were mulitple film franchises to explain it 😂😂
I call this, yellow!
Love your work man🔥🔥🔥
Thanks Curtis! Nice vid once again. I like your commentary and also that you share your pic's with exif data and both unedited and edited! keep up the good work! What is actually the reason that you took the a6400 instead of A7?
Eyy thanks Nick! I have been to Manchester before using A7RIV so thought I'd mix it up a bit 💪
I love this pov photography videos. I'm just starting out doing pov. Soon on my channel.
great to see manchester after a long time..nice shots too..coming to ur ig
Thanks a ton
Great shots! I like your videos :)
nahh this dude is fye🔥
Subbed. Just got a 6400 with the Sigma 56 and ordered the Sony 85mm f/1.8.
subscribed for the mascara. looking fab
Bro, your shots are so freaking crisp I used a Viltrox 85mm 1.8 and I'm struggling to get sharp images.
I also have the same it's a beast but requires space
Hey Curtis, I just bought an a6400 and I was just curious for when you do street photography, do you use aperture priority mode?
Can u say me the price
use manual at all times
just change the apeture manually
If i have that camera,do i need to add with the lens? Your snap was amazing.
Could you please do a video explain what each lens does? I’m a portrait photographer with the same camera and a 55 ml lens but I don’t even know which one would best suit my photography style
What lens were you using in your room? I love the look!
You took a lot of pitchers of the train 🚉
Yes I took a lot of picture of Trams! You like them? 😂
I liked this video. I intend to purchase the Youngnou 85mm and use it on my Nikon D5500
Lively POV, much covered w/cool shots - even if you were “laying down on the job” for awhile - no wonder you caught cold😁. Been away a month but you are back in form, for sure - lots of energy, nice “yellow” theme mixed in. Are you settled in to your new residence? Cheers!
Thanks mate! I'll be in my new place this time next week, so stoked!
Your shots rock!
"You have smooth balls." 😂
Just want to ask you for a suggestion, for this kind of street photography which lens will be better for Sony apsc? Sony 85mm f1.4 or sigma 18 -50 f2.8?
Hey curtis...nice to see your photos you are one of the best photographer i've ever seen...i have a question about your amazing camera... do u ever heard about sony zv e10?is this camera better than sony a6400? Do you think it is better for a photographer(not a vlogger)? And do you use viewfinder ?
Thanks mate! I think A6400 is a great camera but haven't been hands on with the other one you mentioned
I passed through Manchester in September but there was scaffolding up everywhere. have those come down yet? wanted some nice shots but the whole place just looked like one big construction zone 😂
Dope video and shots mate!
Awesome photos there! I'm thinking about getting this camera or the A6500, but unsure. I do car photography and cinematography and I am in need of an upgrade but just can't fully decide on one haha
Thanks mate! I have made a video about the A6400 I'll link it here! I speak about why I chose the A6400 over the A6500 but if I was in your situation I'd be pushed more towards the A6500 as it has IBIS If I remember correctly and if you do any handheld video it will make the world of difference! Hope that helps! 🤙ruclips.net/video/ZXwJo_RAyWg/видео.html
same here just ordered the a6400 last night, upgrading from my eos t7 so i can get into the cinematography
nice presets mate, will gonna buy.
Enjoyed over here in Bama USA
Great content mate. In terms of focus are you back button focusing, touch screen ? Cheers bud. Fabulous.
I would love to know this as well.
Great video. Is it legal to photograph people without their consent? Just curious because I wouldn't feel comfortable doing it.
Thanks! In the UK it isn't illegal, you can take photos of people in the public places without permission
I've been wondering also about this question, so I googling it. And in Indonesia, it is illegal to photograph people without consent for commercial purposes.
8:02 so that would be me and my friend Puddle 🥲
❣
nice shoot
Bro can use this camera for professional use like wedding purpose like etc...
Great video! keep up the good work. is the audio directly from the gopro?
Thanks dude! Yeah it is! ⚡
Great photos! What mode were you shooting in?
I loves these vids keep it up
Good day to you Curtis! Can I ask if you think that the Sony A6400 is still worth it for me to buy? I do both photography and videography and I was wondering if the A6400 is good for both. Thank you and I hope to hear from you soon!
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. It is an excellent lens! I am from Chile and this spring I will travel to London and Edinburgh on my honeymoon. What lens do you recommend for that type of weather, because part of the time it is quite cloudy. I ask because I like street and landscape photography.
My camera is a Canon 90D. PS: If anyone can comment on this I would appreciate it. Greetings from Chile!
Very nice photographs. Any reason why you choose to shoot primarily in portrait mode?
Hello Curtis. Thank you for the video. So nice clean job!
I think I was a year late. lol. I would like to know your opinion about choosing between Sony A6400 and Canon R50.
The scenario: I plan to study photography in the future. For now, I have never had a camera in my hands. But I want to do POV photography. I like these two cameras. But the A6400 is Weather Sealed and the Canon R50 is not. Maybe I would think of Nikon Z30, who also is Weather Sealed.
I search between these three cameras for my decision. Oh I live under the endless summer and rains everywhere in Florida. 😂
Thanks in advance for your advice. I appreciate it very much.
May I know which camera did you use to shoot this video? The focus is too good for product photo and video graphy
Great video. I'm a beginner, are you changing the shutters speed manually on each picture or are you using a preset on the dial?
Thanks dude! All shot in manual mode! 💪
Super cool photos man!!!! How are you editing these photos? Look epic 🤙
Thanks mate, Adobe Lightroom 👌
Awesome! Question why did you start off with iso 200
You are the great!
Молодец парень. Красочно, весело
4:10 look like mirror 😊😊😊
you recomande me sony a6400 with 85mm or sony a7ii for street photograpy people?🙌
Risked his life for the tram shot
My anxiety was like 📈📈
Is that the 85mm is art lens?
