Idk if anyone else noticed this but the portal rick and morty enter through to the train after the evil morty scene there’s a reference to the dragon episode because there’s writing on the portal and rick said that it was stupid to write on portals

My favorite joke? The "nothing out there is canon" joke: it's funny because makes fun of all those youtubers and fans out there obsessed with considering and theorizing only about "canon" stuff... "Dragon Ball GT is not canon, so it doesn't matter", "The God Warriors of Asgard saga is not canon because it's not in the original manga, so you should not count those battles"

For me, Rick and Morty teaches us to be a good storyteller. This episode is epic.
I don't think the Rick and Morty at the end is the c137 because I don't see either one of them going to the Citadel of Rick's.

One of those aliens that were in the room with all of the musical posters was the same alien race from Pluto that Morty and Jerry visited to when Jerry was completely convinced that Pluto is a planet.

I don't think the "canon" Rick and Morty are "our" Rick and Morty. Since the citadel is a location they destroyed. I figured they'd be pretty frowned upon if they went there. Plus the fact that in the Ricklantis mixup, neither of "our" Rick and Morty seemed eager to help the citadel
All what I got from this episode is that we're never getting an inter-dimensional cable episode ever again.

The writing has improved dramatically, for Rick and Morty, all a sudden.

The fact that this train was made at the citadel (to be sold) just like simple rick's makes you think if there's something more here (though I know I'm over analyzing)
I think that part was also non canon, or at least with a different rick and morty because I really don't think our Morty could just casually wonder in to the citadel after evil morty took over

Those henchmen with high collars near the start look like the ones from Krull (1983).
I can’t believe you never mentioned that the soldiers in the first flashback look like the ones in Krull? And I sort of got an adventure time vibe from the ice queen flashback. I assumed the weird cosmic character was a reference to lumpy space princess.
Story lord put me in mind of dream lord from the Dr Who episode amy’s choice.
And I got a bit of an antman vibe seeing the train derail from the train’s perspective, similar to the battle against yellow jacket.

I did, the Evil Morty scene was also different it felt like cartoons that get a movie for their finale episode so they upgraded the animation and changed the style a bit. Same with dog world but that feel more like a slightly higher budget 2 part TV special.
