Where can i find the videos with the writers and actors interview for rick and morty?
HOW DO THE HELIX MATTRESSES THAT ARE RETURNED GET DEALT WITH? Are they disinfected and then put right back out there? Are they even cleaned, If not then it is dangerous. If they are just discarded then that is a HUGE WASTE and is not right! Are they donated to homeless? if they are not cleaned fully before they are donated and foam is super hard to completely clean like sponges because each bubble harbors grossness then the company is possibly infecting the poor that they are donating the mattresses to and if they are sent back to other customers then am I sleeping on a mattress that someone slept on for 99 days or 3 months) before flip flopping to a different one? please ask these questions before representing a company!

This was 100% the best episode of season 4. It didn’t feel distant and it felt like good ol’ Rick and morty
The best episode of season 4 is 6 imo.
I think everyone has their own preferences, for me the heist episode is my favourite episode other than Total Rickall
Seemed less high-concept to me than a lot of the S4 eps so far, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

just dawned on me. I wonder if the starting in the middle then going back later to tell the story was itself a reference to the alien movie structure with the prequels.
I think it's more of just a common storytelling method than specifically a reference to Alien.
Aaron Shegrud direct reference to the “tale” from the Purge Episode I think! A nod to starting the story where it gets interesting instead of at the natural beginning.

I surprisingly had a lot fun upon rewatching episode, after getting over the initial shock of the face hugger makeout scene. I think the episode’s non linear storytelling is pretty engaging, despite being sort of haphazard.
I think i got it:
First was roy.
Next was tickets please.
Series will end with rick and morty being a virtual reality game at a blitz and chips with justin and dan under the helmets!!
That twist would only worth an after credit scene for Rick&Morty. At least I would expect that.

Did someone notice that since Rick was not "drunk" with that thing in his flask and he didn't have drool over his mouth. He was more connected to his feelings and also more dumber.
Rick and Morty already did it's most disturbing moment with Mr. Jelly Bean in the first season, nothing will be able to top that.
I’m surprised more people haven’t called out the nod to starting the story where it gets interesting this time instead of at its natural beginning-this couldn’t have been purely coincidental given The Purge Planet call out at the beginning of the episode.
My meta theory for this season is that Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland got that 70 episode extension and decided to burn much of this season to lay the ground work for the rest. Every episode has set the parameters for the rest of the series. Every episode addresses a common complaint or issue that could tank the show or force them to jump the shark. They’ve eviscerated the ideas of mindless fan service and network pressure to “go back to the hits” in just the past two episodes alone. It’s brilliance.
This episode could very well have been a signal that they won’t be repeating stale storylines in the future or incorporating structural gimmicks to keep things interesting.
The meta writing this season is pretty masterful.
So did Summer just talk everybody into not giving birth to another egg? Had that always been an option??
i would assume so since they seem to also be able to control when they give birth so why not the opposite

I somehow saw Auto Erotic Assimilation today and found out that these face huggers were actually mentioned at the beginning of the episode when they first get on the ship before meeting Unity.

Another show that, I think, like Rick & Morty, that just seemed to not have lines and get away with everything was probably the Dave Chappelle Show. Every week, I feel like he was pushing the boundaries, but everyone loved it and it just kept getting more seasons lol some shows just have that appeal to the audience where you just laugh uncomfortably and get over it lol
Does tara strong have a fan club? "Asking for a friend"
When a derelict spacecraft first crashes down to the planet, we see that it is in the shape of a human brain. It is completely dark showing little or no activity. This is like the face huggers that only rely on base instinct. After they evolve and begin to experience critical thinking, emotion, creativity, empathy, etc. we look at the planet again after all the building and it resembles a brain with all of its centers lit up. Like the Sistine Chapel, I think this brain reference was intentionally hidden in plain sight.
Great social commentary by Tara Strong. What an interesting world we live in. Quite a paradigm shift.
Would the facehugger/facehugger scene be considered incest? I think it’s pretty obvious that scene didn’t actually happen because Summer making gay jokes is a running theme in this show, and Rick pointed out she wasn’t even there.
But anatomically, do the facehuggers have genitalia?

This season as a whole has been really good with the self-conscious snd narrative jokes. Though those episodes always feel shorter to me and I always feel like they could have used 15 more minutes. Maybe the more streamlined plot structures allows for more character interactive type humor? Either way, maybe one of my fav episode so far in an otherwise great season! The twin towers cut had me on the floor!
The indirect incest line has been crossed during the slut dragons soul bound. There were some things in the past (like morty seeing a hot chick that ended up being Summer, but he ended up disgusted), but nothing that clear.

the inability for people to run sideways from something tall is a mystery
Enough about The body stealers being peaceful. I know we had a Unity episode, but these ones are clearly hostile. They steal bodies of random people and they attacked Rick and Morty when they wanted to escape. Rick and Morty were just defending themselves, those parasites they killed would have attached to other victims.
This would have been better if Tara was actually in this episode.
She's been in lots of episodes tho. Bechtold has been in zero as far as I know lol
Woah guys I just re-watched "Auto Erotic Assimilation" episode from Season 2 and It actually has some key refrences to the "Promortyus" episodie if you didn't know. Rick mention's the face huggers at the beggining of the episode later seen in this Season 4 "Promortyus" episode, and the thought of not shying away from rooms full of eggs and giving them a shake, making episode call backs to both of those.

I thought Prometheus was also referencing Summer bringing the fire of living a life and creation to the facehuggers.

I agree with Tara I’ve felt like this season hasnt felt as connected 🤷🏽♂️and the second half of the season to me is them seeing if they should go back to one off riff bits that they could maybe bring back now and again but they will pay off the big story at the end in the finale 👏🏽

Drawn Together was like the Rick And Morty of its time and it had many VA who made them thier character
In the episode with unity they mentioned the face huggers and in this episode I was annoyed that they didn’t know what the creatures were

She doesn't understand. it's beautiful writing. They wrote a character that truly understood what an infinite multi-universe could mean. And the mind frame that people would get when they could just pack up and move to the next reality.

This was a good episode, I enjoyed it. Much better than last week’s episode in my opinion
I think last weeks was the best of the season, and first view if this episode kind of fell flat. Granted, it was much better the second viewing, something I'm realizing is needed for many of the season 4 episodes.

The face huggers showed no remorse for the hosts they were killing by reproducing. That being their only goal before Summer stopped them. The fact that Rick and Morty showed any sympathy at all towards the situation showed that they do have a bit of empathy despite all their flaws.

Heya guys , please do breakdowns on solar opposites , it feels basically so much like Rick and Morty, some good jokes , some deep stories , it's a good mix of humour and sci fi .

who else did a moment of silence in this episode for 9/11.
This episode reminds me of humans or groups of humans trying to help out a species/ other group of humans by messing with their society but in the end they get destroyed. Like Summer teaching the face-huggers not to have 30-minute life spans and helped build up a peaceful fulfilling society, only to have Rick and Morty and then Summer destroy it because no matter what they do, they will never really try and understand each other/ get along. Humans did this with evolving wolves into dogs then proceeding to abuse them, selectively breed them that gives them health issues, and stop them from reproducing. Or when the USA tried to force Native Americans to assimilate or create reserves for them to live on but ended up just killing them and taking more land in the end. I don't know if this was supposed to be a theme of the episode or not
