I got my 24 trd off road premium (solar octane) in early May. Just turned 14000 miles. 9000 of those mikes towing my 2100 lb camper from Ottawa Ontario to the Yukon and Alaska. The Alaska hwy can be rough in places and I hit a lot of gravel and potholed roads as well. My Tacoma has performed flawlessly to date. Not one issue or problem. Mileage avg was about 14mpg, which isn’t bad considering the roads, tow weight and fully loaded truck bed. Was a 5 week trip. So far, I’m the proverbial happy camper. The 4th gen tows far better than my gen3 did. Hey, would love to get your taco.
Thanks for the frank assessment. I have a new (as of July) TRD Off road. No upgrade package. Have about 4,000 miles on it, including some cross country miles. Have had two previous gen Tacomas. Must say, this one is a gem. Powertrain/transmission is monumentally quicker and so much smoother, as is handling at all speeds. Averaging a little over 20 mpg with stock tires. Folks are finding all sorts of little stuff to nitpick about, but I've found absolutely nothing to complain about to date. Of course, reliability/durability is a question given it's newness, but Toyota has always stood behind its products. Long story short, I'm a happy camper and expect to be for some time to come. Do like your videos, Jon. Keep it up.

But seriously, if that is something you can afford to give away to a lucky subscriber, then I think it's a win all around.
All depends on the luck of the draw. No control over that.
Glad I got the iForceMax. Thank you for your great videos! Giveaway? Absolutely, your truck is really great looking and well equipped, can look great next to my Solar Octane ;-)
Of course! Giveaway!!
Yes give a way
Would absolutely love a chance to win the Taco! It would pair perfectly with my Tundra😉
Yeah buddy, do a give-away... someone would be stoked to have that Truck...
I'll take it! And trade it in on a Frontier. That is, if they're even accepting them. Tundra trades are not welcome now.
What was the MPG going out to Westcott stock?
I am averaging 20.3mpg in my 2023 TRD OR ACLB right now. It should go up since my commute to work is changing from surface streets to freeway.
Of If I recall the cross country trip was around 20-21. That’s going 70-80mph up and down hills, traffic, etc.
A giveaway would be great. 👍🏼
Giveaway sounds pretty cool. Great looking truck for whoever gets it 😊
Giveaway would be sweet. I would finally be able to replace my 16 year old tundra lol
Total thumbs up on the giveaway
I’d love to win that in a heart beat
Yes, giveaway.. that’ll be awesome!
Thank you for the review, and absolutely I would be down for a giveaway. Super cool
Do you have a video of the gfc top? Love the channel
I don't specifcally on it yet. But I can make one.
Giveaway would be great. I need a new truck Jon. Great review video
Heck ya I’d be down for a giveaway! I didn’t know you were a 16 pilot!! I’m an old C-130 Crew Chief!
This was my incentive flight. I was F16 Avionics actually.
@@TRDJon Pointy Head!!! I was wondering why it was a 2 seater!! Anyway, same neighborhood, you were MX appreciate that more than pilot anyway!
Hell ya man!
currently have a '21 hybrid Elantra, looking to trade my Elantra in to get one of these some time in a couple years. hopefully the 4th gen Tacoma's is as good as the previous gen, i'd loves to get my hands on one of these.
Would absolutely be grateful to win this truck! My ‘06 Corolla is great, but my toddler told me I need a truck so I guess it’s time to upgrade! 😂
Do the GIVEAWAY, money is kinda tight out here and winning a sweet ride would be awesome
Have a gen 3 and love it!
Give away would be awesome even if I don't win!
I would love to see you get a TH on the channel because I am getting one and wouldn't mind ideas about how to maximize what I'm getting out of it. I'm coming from a Civic so I don't really drive trucks normally and I certainly don't modify them ever. Best to let others do it first and learn from them. lol
Giveaway that truck, count me in!
Got the 22 NX 350 with that annoying ticker sound from the passenger side back door
Yes. Do a giveaway 11:00
The JBL portable speaker is such a gimmick lol
Yes, and I love it. I have a phone, so I just use that and won't get a portable. But if one is included in my car, I'd happily bring it out to the campsite for better sound. Gimmicky, but fun.
@@dorrito you're the demographic that they were targeting lol
@@julioc.guevara3658 it’s so lame. It’d be one thing if you could just forget it was there, but hearing that they rattle while driving makes it a terrible gimmick.
I’m also wondering what happens once they inevitably get lost/damaged/just stop working in a few years. Will you be able to get a replacement? Maybe, but you’ll be buying old/inferior tech at a premium price.
@@julioc.guevara3658 It’s a cheesy gimmick, it’s even worse knowing that it rattles while driving.
What happens when you lose one of these in a few years, or it just stops working? You’re going to be paying a premium to replace an old mediocre speaker.
It's a big plus for me, use it regularly and while it's in the dash it enhances the sound nicely.
