    Shes playing both sides, shes keeps the 3rd gen while catering to the new buyers of the 2024, she gets to make deals /psrtnerships companys while making content for all.. and if the Gen4 fails she still.has a gen 3, the channel and still an acct. The channels fun to watch. She takes the risks so we dont have to. 👏👏👏

    If you have $50,000 sitting around to buy a truck with cash you must be doing pretty damn well! Congrats on the new truck!

    • @aluisious
      @aluisious 4 месяца назад +8

      If you have $50k in cash sitting around, it's stupid to blow it on buying a truck, when you can put it in a 5% money market account and get 6% financing for the truck. Savings interest compounds and car loan interest amortizes. Plus, if something unexpected happens, you have time to sell the truck while you pay your bills with the savings.

    • @dantong5623
      @dantong5623 4 месяца назад +3

      @@aluisious First, you forgot about interest rate risk. Your car loan is at fix interest while the money market interest rate can and will likely drop. You also forgot you have to take money out of your money market fund every month to pay the monthly payment, thereby decreasing your compounding. If you figure that into your calculation, assuming 50k in loan/market for a 4 year loan , 5% rate unchanged for your money market (with monthly compounding) and 6% car loan, you will LOSE $~1100 after all these maneuvers. If interest rate drops, you lose a lot more. So, they best thing to do is to just pay cash. The easiest way to tell you are making a mistake in finance calculations is checking whether your calculation indicates that you are making extra money without taking any additional risk and/or effort.

    Congratulations on the new truck! I got my 2024 tacoma last month, and I'm loving it. My dealership in Fortworth, TX, only had one, and it was hidden almost like it was waiting for me. Even with the price tag, I honestly can say there has been no "buyers remorse." Even though the wife was a little upset when I came home with a shiny new truck completely unannounced. It's my first new, from the dealership vehicle purchase and a huge upgrade from my previous vehicle. With the new 4 cylinder engine, it's about the same gas mileage and fuel cost for my 45-minute drive to the office, which is perfect for me. Already got some upgrades. New tires, bed rack and a pelican cargo case. I'm definitely wanting to get into some weekend offroading/ camping. As for a video suggestion. I haven't seen anyone do a video on the pre wired accessory plug ins and Aux buttons in the cab, other than saying they exist. I think it would be great to see how they function and what accessorys are possible to use them for. I'm excited to see your upcoming videos on the new truck.

Absolutely if there is a electricical issue or software shutdown they can back out your whole truck! I talked to Toyota one time about taking my truck off tracking. They told me each vehicle now has basically a cellular device like a phone with its own phone number. You can go off tracking, but never really because of you push that sos button they will answer, means your still on the system..crazy . All these new vehicles are a step in wrong direction and for nothing. No better gas mileage not lighter not better built.. nothing

    You're gonna betray your old tacoma. You didn't need the new one. Many of us tacoma people owners are not buying the new tacoma to prove a point. Not buying the Tacoma will allow Toyota to rethink their value on the new gen tacoma and their customers.

    • @Rieneger
      @Rieneger 6 месяцев назад +2

      They should’ve made this version entirely it’s own trim/model. Kept the old 4cyl for those on a budget or don’t need the power, and upgrade the V6 engine. I know a lot of people complain the V6 is underpowered for its class so this was a chance to improve it. Instead they designed a truck that honestly is too Luxury even for base models. It is nice and all, but they leave little to no options for most people to afford it for what it is really needed for.

    • @gpaje
      @gpaje 6 месяцев назад +1

      @Rieneger not possible, the EPA pretty much is making it very difficult to have a naturally aspirated V6, and forget about a turbo V6 because that's what the tundra has.

    • @gpaje
      @gpaje 6 месяцев назад

      Good luck with that, they're selling quite well and they're not going to change to naturally aspirated V6 and lower the price, inflation is everywhere and the EPA isn't going to make that possible anymore.

      Although the new gen taco was recently just released, it is actually selling more than the new gen ford ranger, chevy colorado, gmc canyon and honda ridgeline, these were released waayy earlier than the new gen taco and the taco is already on top with the sales, so go ahead and keep your 3rd gen taco and let people do whatever they want with their hard earned money.

    If I were you I'd return it right away or your going to have a lot of nightmares!!! Just wondering if you've done your research before you decided to buy this? I had took one out for a test ride just 10 minutes of driving it it just felt really cheap!! Boy was was I right it just blows my mind away how they got away with making this vehicle so cheap what a slap in the face to their customers I went back to the dealer and told the guy he can keep it what a total piece of junk I showed him so many mistakes that was made in the vehicle and how cheap the quality was, he didn't disagree but he had no intentions of buying one I don't trust salesman they are all a bunch of liars to make a sale that's why it's very very important to do your research first cuz this is a very costly mistake, especially when you already have a Tacoma that is way better than this one I took a 23 model for a ride puts his brand new one to shame every single way quality fit durability even the paint even the thickness of the metal!!! If I was the CEO of Toyota this would never have hit the market not a chance!!! People need to stop buying because of looks it looks good but that's all it is I find the 3rd Generation looks better anyway!!!

      You’re lying through your teeth, and badly. Sorry buddy, there’s no way that you drove one of these trucks and thought the gen 3 was “nicer.” Just stop. I liked my ‘22 taco well enough, it was fully loaded too, but this new one is significantly better in EVERY single way, and I didn’t get the premium package like Chloe here. In other words, my fully loaded gen 3 was not as nice as my base trd off road, and it was actually less expensive than my gen 3 was! Moreover, nearly every single owner of one of these new trucks has had a positive experience, myself included. I’ve had mine for over 3 months, and I love it. If something breaks, Toyota will fix it. That’s a big IF something breaks. My ‘22 had a recall on its drive shaft… there’s always a chance something could go wrong when you buy a new vehicle, no matter what brand or model you choose to buy.
