oh wow, you actually have some good descriptions and amazing points! So much better than any other pros/cons videos out there. I really hope for Toyota to watch this since you're providing detailed feedback and possible fixes.
I'm glad I came to this video for at least ONE HUGE TAKEAWAY! Your advice about keep your truck stock for a time and get to know it, then make your decisions on upgrades! SO SMART DUDE! But, who the heck TORQUES on a door handle like that AND I love that it shuts of a/c and doesn't power up the truck with compressor on. hmmm...different strokes for different folks.
I have an SR5 cold weather package. I will say I love this truck. Everyone talks about how expensive this truck is. I think that based on how much all cars are right now this truck is right in line with them. Think about what you really want out of your vehicle and what suits you best don’t pay for all the extra crap you don’t want or need and the price doesn’t seem so bad.
This video made me feel great for having the 3rd gen. Thanks for the informative video. For the screen, I have a 10 inch Sony aftermarket head unit along with aftermarket sound setup so the screen is plenty big enough. The extra cameras are a nice perk, but it's not "needed", but definitely doesn't hurt, I like that bout the 2024 (I do have the 360 cam in my truck). Great vid!
Hey dude, I've been waiting for this review since you bought that truck, finally is here! Thank you so much to this content Mateo, and your honest thoughts on the 4rth gen Tacoma. I'm looking forward on how you transform that truck into an off-road beast!!
I just got a 24 Tacoma. And I think the biggest disappointment is that Snap Button that holds the rear seat up when folding up. Like what was toyota thinking...?? what are we in, 1975? A 2024 truck for a near $60K should not have a snap button like my old pair of jeans. I just feel it was like a "oh we need to figure out a way to lock the rear seats upwards and we only have 4 hours to engineer it"
Purchased a new 2024 frontier this year. Would have went with a tacoma for the name cache and curb appeal, however, the price compounded with the turbo made me regret not being in the market a year sooner. Cool truck regardless
You're right man I had a 3rd gen for years to and now the 4th gen. The 4th gen blows it away completely upgraded and better then the 3rd gen. The 4th gen is actually made easier to modify as well. I was getting 20mpg in town when it was stock. You literally can put 35s on it with a spacer kit in the front and it does not rub😳 its awesome and the power is still there dont need to regear or anything with 35s unlike with the 3rd gen. The only issue is have that really bugs me is the noisy asf 4cylinder. It literally sounds like a tractor or a diesel driving in town🤦♂️ can't stand it.
Your 4 banger is screaming for its life. The turbos are artificially making it seem like it has enough power for those 35's but that engine is being pushed past it's limits.
I dunno man, I had a MT 3rd gen and now a manual 4th gen. I get the exact same range in this new one as my old one, plus it’s cheaper to fill it up 🤷♂️. Maybe it’s different for the automatic transmissions. The motor is not stressed at all man. It’s smooth as hell. The old v6 had to be revved up like crazy to feel like I was moving, and it never felt “powerful.” On top of that, my old grand Cherokee with a 5.7L hemi actually got better fuel economy than the v6 in my taco! The only saving grace was that I knew it would last, and it did. The “new” motor is not actually new either. It’s been used in Lexus models since 2018, and there are plenty of examples with hundreds of thousands of miles on them. People talking trash about these new trucks have no clue
@kevinbradley8613 💯 the 4cylinder isn't screaming lol it's always under 2k rpms. The v6 in the 3rd gen always was screaming crazy high rpms. People that talk crap about the 4th gen have no clue what they're talking about. Drive a 4th gen for a week you'll see 😂
Thank you for this amazing review! Wow, you pointed out practical but highly important build quality details. I agree that Toyota needs to improve the back seat, plastic door handle, seat button holder and shift nob.
Came from a 3rd gen. Absolutely love my 4th gen more! Toyota fixed every thing i hated about my 3rd gen and its amazing how fun it is to drive on a backroad, put it in sport mode and with the suspension this thing drives like a sports car but there are some cheap things I've noticed and little things that annoy me, especially the gauge cluster not saving my tire pressure monitor settings. Still better than my 3rd gen in my opinion.
Great review. I love my Gen 4 the only issue i have had so far was the radio volume knob. Week one of having the truck and the knob broke. Took it back to dealer and it was replaced under warranty.
Good list. I went with Limited mainly for the upgraded interior. One pro that I will add is the hold button while at a stop light, it's feature that I have found I really like and miss when I drive my Honda passport. For cons I will add no power folding mirrors, no memory seats. I took didn't care for the strap to hold up the back seat. My 2007 Ridgeline had a much better locking system, come on Toyota!
After taxes and the myriad fees they charge on top of the sticker price these trucks are over 50k. No thanks. I got a 25 pro 4X frontier for a whole lot less. Its a great no frill, no bs gimnick truck And that's after owning a taco and 2 tundras.that screen extends above the dash, not cool.
A tale as old as time and Mateo and no content creator on RUclips will admit it. I’ve had Tacomas since the 2nd Gen first came out so the made in Mexico thing wasn’t an issue then nor was it with the 3rd Gen. It’s always the cost cutting with new gens.
Bro there’s a few things you should watch for on the cruise control. I used to work at a Toyota dealership for 4 years, I would get to drive alllllll the new vehicles and I would test all the features out as I would drive them. (I’ve had this happen to me while I was on the clock) I was driving on the highway using the cruise control in the right lane and an exit appeared on the right and I just kept going (not taking the exit). But the car in front took the exit. And as my 2024 Tacoma TRD off-road slowed down thinking the car was slowing down in front of my but it was actually clear off onto the exit and the truck slammed on its brakes because the cruise control was thinking the car in front of me was slowing down but it was clear over in the exit lane. And the car behind me wasn’t paying attention and ended up right under my rear bumper. Not sure if Toyota has fixed the issue yet but my parents tundra has the same cruise control system and it has similar issues. Stay safe!
I had a positive experience nobody has tested. With my CARD KEY (not key fob), I accidentally jumped into a pool with my wallet in my pocket. I can't say how long I was in, but it wasn't just a dip. I freaked out that I wouldn't be able to start my truck, but it worked. I would like to know if it is waterproof and to what extent. For those of us who love the ocean, rivers, and lakes, that would be a good thing to know. I think that would be a cool test. Thanks.
Forget the hybrid all we need is a tune and have like 30+ whp and torque. Just waiting on Cobb Tuning or another company to come out with a programmer for the new tacomas and be plug and play tunes.
My #1 and actually only con is the steering wheel leather is crap. If your nail drags across it, most likely it will cut or lift the pleather. I put nearly 15k miles on mine so far and my steering wheel is the only thing that really bothers me. I see people hating on the truck and it seems like the hate comes from the cost of the truck but they dont want to admit thats the issue. A test drive is nice but after owning mine for a while now I honestly am super satisfied with the purchase. Time in the seat will prove to you that the 3rd gen has absolutely nothing on the 4th gen
Mateo, it's the plastic backing on the 3rd gen seats. I'm not lying it's in my top 3 gripes with the 4th gen. Toyota, if you're listening, please FIX the BACKSEAT. BRING BACK THE PLASTIC BACK FOR STORAGE/UTILITY.
I held off on a late 3rd Gen waiting on the 4th Gen to come out. This video didn’t make me want it any more. I would wait for prices to come down or for some of those cons to get addressed the next couple of years.
I got a 3rd gen 23 model. Solid transmission in the 3rd gen since the 4th gens having transmission failures. Mine will go to 300k plus miles, well see how far the turbo 4 banger can go.
I don't know why I watch these videos. I haven't had any of these interior problems in the 5 months I've owned this truck and now I'm going to be self conscious about all of them...
The 3rd gen cruise control absolutely sucks I've only used it one time for a reason, it almost got me in a horrible accident when a car infront of me exited a ramp my truck locked brakes and a semi barely missed me. Wish the 3rd gen had a better cruise control like the 4th gen.
While I really like my 2024 Tacoma Sport, I do wish the truck had folding mirrors and a locking gas door. I agree, the parking braking assist is a pain while parking in a garage. I disabled the option. Excellent video!
Man I added a mirror kit and it is a big plus in parking lots and especially on narrow off roads. Kjto has a kit however the screws that hold the mirror on strip easy. so I had to fabricate a washer and get better stainless bolts.
The engine drives amazing yes, the turbo sounds a big high strung though compared to what tubos normally sound like. I know many turbo folks have also mentioned this, but we will have to see on longevity of it. But lucky I am sure after market ones put people at peace of mind.
Also the cruise on my 3rd gen is terrible. My mileage goes down so much and it’s always screaming on the highway trying to keep speed . My truck is modified heavily though so I think people who are saying the cruise is fine have stock 3rd gens
No, my stock 3rd gen ‘23 cruise sucks always screaming for low gear when a car switches lanes or even when encountering a hill vs me driving without cruise.
Sorry but I call BS. The 3rd gen cruise control works just fine versus constantly hunting like you claim, your noise comparison is with a modded 3rd gen with big ass tires versus a stock 4th. Disappointing to say the least!
@@abinormal8374 he was right tho the 3rd gen cruise sucks. Can't even stay in the same gear on the freeway and going on a hill is ridiculous it just floors it reved out so high. I never used my cruise cause it was so bad and even worse once I added bigger tires
I had a 3rd gen and now a 4th gen and I never used cruise control on my 3rd gen cause it was so bad and use it all the time on my 4th gen even with 34s. It is truly waaay better
I own a 2022 3rd gen ott tune and have drove the 4th gen, I'll keep my 3rd gen any day over the 4th gen . I have no problems with the transmission acting the way he says....
Drive the 4th gen for a while and youll see what hes talking about. The 24 is unexplainably better in almost every way. I love tacoma's thru and thru but my 4th gen is miles ahead of my 3rd gen in every way I care to measure
Hey Mateo. I trust your opinion on the new Tacoma more than any other car reviewer, and I'm sure that the new Tacoma is great overall. However, there are two things I just can not get past with the new gen. 1. Price... I don't need to say anything else... It's goes without saying. 2. The Powertrain. While I'm sure the 4-cyclinder Turbo is great, I have no interest in a 4 cylinder Turbo charged Truck. I would also lean towards the hybrid version to mentally compensate for the 4-banger, but I just can not allow myself to be convinced that a 4 Cylinder Turbo Hybrid will not be a nightmare in the long run. For long time on-road use, I'm sure it will be fine. But for long-term off-roading or towing, I don't believe that is possible. I daily drive a 2011 FJ Cruiser Trail Teams. It is the best vehicle I have ever owned. I will keep it for the rest of my life. My intention was to sell my MB SL500 to buy a new gen Tacoma, but I just refuse to support this change to 4-cylinder Turbo Hybrids. It just makes absolutely zero sense. The gas mileage increase is negligible. Why couldn't they have done the same thing with a NA V-6. The technology is there. It's what they should have done. I refuse to support this non-sense of sacrificing power and dependability from a NA V-6 to the 4-cylinder Twin-Turbo Supercharged Hybrid Extreme!!! lol... It was not necessary to do such a ridiculous change on a truck that has garnered a reputation of simplicity and dependability. It is no longer a truck of simplicity, and there is no way it will be dependable to the level of the previous gens. Thanks for all you do!!
This, so sick of hearing people talk about how its such a better truck since it drives better, has better power and more features, as it should with a turbo, extra gears and price increase for some junk no one wanted besides maybe new owners who have never owned a truck and will never need one (go look at half the people on the 4G forum). Have owned 12 Tacos all gens besides 4th gen, had a deposit, was excited to have one till I drove it, plastic, cheap (tailgate is paper thin feeling) and no way anyone with half a brain can say as reliable as a low tech, NA prior gen. And for the idiots about to chime in my 22 on Volks is paid for and I'm a cash buyer who still isnt buying.
I will say this from my perspective after interviewing people at Toyota about this. I think we’re rapidly advancing in technology when it comes to car engines and reliability, what used to be an unreliable turbocharged engine 10 years ago has been optimized. I respect the hesitance against a 4 banger but I gotta tell you I don’t think Toyota would put an engine like that out without doing their due diligence in terms of testing it. At the end of the day only time will tell, and maybe our opinion on the new tacos will change. But for the time being we’re erring in the side of optimism for this one 🤙
@@tacomabeast So how do you explain their "dilegence" and the Tundra engines...just saying. And at the end of the day the engine still runs hotter, has more points of failure and is more stressed than its predecessor.
@@usafwx01😂 You beat me to it. We all get so enamored with brands and experiences that we forget Toyota is not a charity or non profit. Their moves and changes have shareholders and profits top of mind then secondary the enthusiast. Does it make financial sense from a company standpoint and will the enthusiast ultimately accept it?
I'm leery on the i4T vs v6 longevity. Its been proven over and over again boosted stock engines wear and break faster. I guess we'll see..... As for the A/C reset, that should be on all vehicles. The AC compressors when engaged add extra resistance to the motor. And when starting its extra unneeded resistance, start ups are already the hardest thing on an engine. That's a smart move by Toyota. I've always been in habit of turning off AC before shutting off my truck because of this very thing. Its a little thing but will help in less wear on your belts, compressor, and engine.
If put 35s on that truck your quarter panels will be stripped of paint. I have had 3 crapcomas for 5 months and the quarter panels have dozens of deep paint chips from rocks bypassing the mud flaps. All 3 trucks have atock sized tires. This is a design flaw.
Hey everyone! I’m considering getting a Toyota truck and would love some recommendations on the best models and years to look for. For those who own or have owned one, I’d appreciate any insights on your experience with factors like price, insurance, and reliability. Thanks in advance!
As a Toyota tech, I can confidently say, dont bother with the new gen tundra and new gen tacoma. The new gen of Tundra’s came out in 22 and from then to now they all have huge issues. As for the new gen tacoma, they just came out and are not very solid in my experience and knowledge. As for the trucks to buy: the 2018, 19, 22, and 23 Tacoma’s are the best years for 3rd gens by far. As for the Tundra’s, 2016-2020 are the best years. This is only speaking for reliability as I don’t have knowledge on pricing in your area and dont know your insurance pricing. Hope this is helpful!
@@wyattvaldez5483 thank you it definitely helps. I live in the SF Bay Area. Do you think I should wait for the next year models cause I’m planning to buy one next summer. From you experience do you think that it will get better? Waiting for my current car lease to end.
So the 2024 doesnt autolock like my 3rd gen? Cuz I always forget to lock my truck but I turned on autolock for 30sec after I leave my truck and it works great.
@billw8476 it is 2024. Anyone that buys any new vehicle will have a massive drop in value in the short term. The only exception would be during the new vehicle shortage caused by the pandemic where used vehicles set records with abnormaly high values.
The only complaint I have with mine is the Pre Collision Sense PCS always hits the brakes while I'm driving if there's a car in front of me. It's annoying to turn it off every time I get in.
All the stuff they added for the 4th gen is fluffy stuff I really don’t care about and the stuff they got rid of (V6) is stuff I really care about that actually matters to me in a truck
All the pros can be found in the ford and gm trucks now too and they do it better in some cases. All the cons are specifically just with the tacoma. A cheap and poorly built truck priced way above the competition. My 23 colorado hasn't come close to the issues/build quality you are seeing.
I feel like the cons were just to have something to complain about to make a video 😂 As for the AC it should likely be on by default so probably a software glitch, the rest is basically normal behaviour for how the wnvironent system always have worked.
I got my 4th Gen SR5 for under 40k before taxes and fees. 4x4 and some extra addons like heated seats. It's a great truck, and drives better than the 3rd gen significantly. Wil it last as long? Probably, and in 1-2 years when we get 200k+ trucks on the roads this fud in the comments will go away.
It’s not just the on road. It’s the off road abuse and adding weight or towing that made the 1st-3rd Gen Tacomas legendary. A Corolla can run 200k+ miles on road. With all the pressure of emissions and environmentalists, Toyota had to go with a smaller engine and the next few years will prove it was a mistake.
@@chrisginoc it honestly could go either way, and given we have a 5 year warranty I think there's no reason for concern so long as you don't drive like a pavement princess.
The same radio knob is on multiple models for Toyota. I had mine break off 3 times with my 2023 Tundra. Have a couple of co-workers that had the same thing happen to them on their Tundra's. Most dealerships are aware and have them in stock now. They just hand you one. Very poor design with the knob, 3 plastic tabs hold it on and if just 1 of them breaks it falls off. I am disappointed that they just give you the same design one back for replacement, it just takes a few months and it happens again.
“Toyota took their time designing the interior.” Oh yeah for sure. With cheap hard plastics and fit/finish issues, it took a lot of time and hard work for Toyota!
The truck feels rushed out of production to me. Really hoping design and production is more "stout" on the 25' model yr. Love my 3rd gen though so honestly not sure id spend 50/60k on this.
You don't need too many features in a truck. You just need power. I like 6 cylinders in a mid-size truck. New Tacoma with 4 cylinders, and it's too expensive. I'll not buy it.
Imagine watching a full video just to hate on the guy who made it. Thanks for the view, my dude! Keep those opinions coming. They just might help someone decide if this truck’s for them! 😂
I can appreciate the review of the motor, but having 2 other turbo 4s with similar power you will chase so many maintenance problems ~100k. The real question is, do you plan on keeping this beyond 100k? Statistically most Americans change cars in less than 6 years.
The problem is Toyota has gotten greedy and gone outside of their loyal base. People wanted Tacomas because of build quality, longevity, and easy repairs and modification. May be it's a GenZ thing but anyone older doesn't wanna pay for excessive tech or a turbo charged 4cyl engine in a truck.. The price is way too high for what you're getting and the only people they're going to buy the 4th gens are influencers and white collar folks. I test drove one before getting a certified 3rd gen to me the engine sounds like a 4cyl that struggling and should be getting better gas mileage.
As much as I like tacoma beast I feel like the part he speaks about the power train and it sounds alot like he's selling you on it more like a commercial? I know influencers but I don't believe tacoma owners are upset about power they're upset about the engine being turbo charged and long term reliability? So yea im not buying it sorry but not sorry.
We try to be as objective as possible with this, and this is our opinion after driving it for about a month. But you’re entitled to your opinion just as much as we are 🤙
Your video started out good and it was nice to get your opinion…then it degenerated into nitpicking about things that didn’t make sense and revealed more of your OCD than any rational critique.
Honestly, I'd prefer the option to remove all the tech minus the screen. Take out the sensors, cameras, automatic braking, adaptive cruise, etc...I don't need nor want any of them. Especially don't want to pay for features I won't use or constantly disable. I have used the tech, have some of that on my current vehicle, and they are cons, not pros. The fact that most vehicles have all this standard in most if not all trims is sad for those of us that want a simple, no fuss vehicle. I'd take an early 3rd gen or older at this point, hands down.
I love the front locker, wider axles, longer UCAs and LCAs, and the ability to lock the rear in 2wd of the TRD Pro and Trailhunter. Wait….. the 50-60K heaps don’t have these. Fail Toyota!! 😂😂😂😂
after seeing this, i will NEVER get a 4th gen EVER. I love my 3rd gen. Il stay with it until the frame rots away even if its at 300K miles. Also, the trim level I got is TRD OR and for a 4th gen, I couldn't even buy all my mods plus the truck for the same amount I spent on my 3rd gen brand new.... Im still under what they want for a 4th gen TRD OR with everything I put on my 3rd gen. NO THANKS. I have RCI full steel Skids, calirasied rocksliders, nitrogear 5.29s, aftermarket 32 inch wheels and tires (ATs and MTs 2 sets of wheels and tires), 2 inch full lift bilstien 5100s OME 886 coils, icon RXT leafs stage 3, prinsu, C4 overland front bumper, 4WP rear steel bumper and a bunch of diode dynamic light bars and pods. Even with all that, I'm still short of the MSRP of the 4th gen.....
oh wow, you actually have some good descriptions and amazing points!
So much better than any other pros/cons videos out there.
I really hope for Toyota to watch this since you're providing detailed feedback and possible fixes.

For those of us who love the ocean, rivers, and lakes, that would be a good thing to know. I think that would be a cool test. Thanks.
That would be interesting to know! Not sure I want to go out and test it though 😅
Forget the hybrid all we need is a tune and have like 30+ whp and torque. Just waiting on Cobb Tuning or another company to come out with a programmer for the new tacomas and be plug and play tunes.
jb4 tune
Honest and Concise. Thanks for the review.
Glad it was helpful!
Your "noise test" compares a stock 4th gen to a fully modded 3rd gen on 37's with an aftermarket exhaust
As mentioned in the video, we conducted a noise test on a stock 3rd-gen a week prior, and the difference was significant.
@tacomabeast Where lol
My 3rd gen 2023 no problem
It still ain't worth 50k.
This premium one is more then that out the door close to 60k depends what state you're in with taxes
@BlueSTI true. For that amount I'd rather go the other route and get an old taco or 4runner and really stand out on the crowd
@sergateway yeah they're awesome trucks just insane pricing. Only way to afford one is get a base model offroad. That's what I did it was 43k lol
it really isn't.....but the price will stay high as long as fools buy them.
Out the door this is closer to $60K
AC switch drives me nuts too😂🤪
I held off on a late 3rd Gen waiting on the 4th Gen to come out.
When you said the plastics feel better than a ford especially haha 🤣
Agree it's rather amazing how solid the 3rd gen interior feels despite all the plastic in it.
Nailed it!
I love my 4th gen TRD sport I use it to tow my bass boat and it does as well if not better than my Denali and mpg is way better
That’s sick!
I get bored of my trucks and usually swap them out after a few years. I have no desire to trade my 2022 TRDOR for a 4th gen.........yet.
You can get a couple more years out of that for sure 🤙
I love my 24 Tacoma
You have an overpriced truck made in Mexico.
im waiting on my TRD Sport iForce Max build! 5 more weeks!
what are you building it out for??
All i gotta say about the cons, is that "It’s a truck.". Things arent gonna be Rolls Royce level as most expect
@6:30 your neighbor backing up using mirrors like a total plebe
😭
While I really like my 2024 Tacoma Sport, I do wish the truck had folding mirrors and a locking gas door. I agree, the parking braking assist is a pain while parking in a garage. I disabled the option. Excellent video!
my yaris has a locking gas door and my 3rd gen tacoma does not 🤣
The hybrid does have the locking gas door. I seen when I test drove it but ended up only getting the gaser
Man I added a mirror kit and it is a big plus in parking lots and especially on narrow off roads. Kjto has a kit however the screws that hold the mirror on strip easy. so I had to fabricate a washer and get better stainless bolts.
Dude…. You have an overpriced truck and in Mexico.
Hey the on the Road recording happened here in pflugerville! Nice! Are you ever going to have a shop here in Austin?
Working on something big 👀
I think the 3rd gen still looks better and doesnt have that horrible offset for wheels.
let me guess.... you just got the 3rd gen?
Thank you.
I have a 3rd gen cruise control is amazing. I use it all the time
@@usafwx01 You don't have to get the options you don't want. You can get this truck configured a million different ways.
Apparently Toyota is prepared to take the heat for a bad interior, fit and finish
Waiting to see the 3rd Tacoma flex with the new shock relocation 😢
This isn’t biased at all…
😂
Those cons, make me not want to get it. Resale value will be 💩
i have seen in other videos that trade in prices for the 2024 is absolutely horrible.
I don't care if it is a 1999 toyota corolla, it is going to hold it's trade in value long term.
@billw8476 it is 2024. Anyone that buys any new vehicle will have a massive drop in value in the short term. The only exception would be during the new vehicle shortage caused by the pandemic where used vehicles set records with abnormaly high values.
What are your thoughts on the bump stops and transmission overheating issues?
Haven’t experienced them yet but I’ll keep y’all posted
The only complaint I have with mine is the Pre Collision Sense PCS always hits the brakes while I'm driving if there's a car in front of me. It's annoying to turn it off every time I get in.
When you wanna lock the car while you walking out if you don't wanna touch anything go to settings... Fix it.
All the stuff they added for the 4th gen is fluffy stuff I really don’t care about and the stuff they got rid of (V6) is stuff I really care about that actually matters to me in a truck
BBeast! Keeping it real. That interior is janky. :(
How does a smooth flat finish button look rugged?
“Toyota took their time designing the interior.”
Oh yeah for sure. With cheap hard plastics and fit/finish issues, it took a lot of time and hard work for Toyota!
Let’s put heavy tariffs on Toyota for moving Tacoma production from the United States to Mexico.
Welcome back @tacomabeast
I have the biggest con for all the midsize trucks on market…can’t fit a family of 4 inside cab
The 4cyl could be forgiven if it at least had a diesel option
The truck feels rushed out of production to me. Really hoping design and production is more "stout" on the 25' model yr. Love my 3rd gen though so honestly not sure id spend 50/60k on this.
20-23 3rd gen had the best factory LED headlights with the sequential turn and DRL…idk why they ditched them for 4th gen’s…looks too basic
To summarize: A nice driving truck that is egregiously overpriced, cheaply made, and poorly put together. Sounds familiar...
You don't need too many features in a truck. You just need power. I like 6 cylinders in a mid-size truck. New Tacoma with 4 cylinders, and it's too expensive. I'll not buy it.
Try the new fourth gen and you’ll see the difference in power with the third gen 🤙
lol the guy in the tundra on front of your house , just park just find with out those futures , by the way i have a 2024 taco .. lol
😂
Imagine the ppl who’s buying a truck because this bird brain says is good lol 😂
The new taco is the best no matter what haters say ... everything is expensive now even food. For me is woth the mney
But you’re entitled to your opinion just as much as we are 🤙
Your video started out good and it was nice to get your opinion…then it degenerated into nitpicking about things that didn’t make sense and revealed more of your OCD than any rational critique.
how is it still stock
👀
Honestly, I'd prefer the option to remove all the tech minus the screen. Take out the sensors, cameras, automatic braking, adaptive cruise, etc...I don't need nor want any of them. Especially don't want to pay for features I won't use or constantly disable. I have used the tech, have some of that on my current vehicle, and they are cons, not pros. The fact that most vehicles have all this standard in most if not all trims is sad for those of us that want a simple, no fuss vehicle. I'd take an early 3rd gen or older at this point, hands down.
@@rudymoralesjr you can. get a base model offroad
I love the front locker, wider axles, longer UCAs and LCAs, and the ability to lock the rear in 2wd of the TRD Pro and Trailhunter.
Wait….. the 50-60K heaps don’t have these.
Fail Toyota!! 😂😂😂😂
The 4th gen Tacoma one of the only vehicles where driving the previous generation is a flex
Wrong. My new 4th Gen is far superior than my old 3rd Gen in every single way.

is it worth it ?......no, it is not.
These trucks are designed they way they are too get the specs that they have. Even the cheap plastic stuff
3rd gen eng/trans/gearing was not fun to drive. So slow, I am sure the new trans is way more responsive
RIP tacoma no turbo 4 ever
after seeing this, i will NEVER get a 4th gen EVER.
Your con list is pretty petty, to say the least.
All the bad hits are chicken sh#$t. Fouth gen is awesome. You know it. Great video though!
