The lousy turbo charged engine!
I personally believe that the pricing is the number one reason, especially if you want a mid-range or upper trim Tacoma. How many people do you think can afford a $1400+ monthly payment?
I do not also like the lack of rear A/C vents and how cramped the second row is. Other than that, Toyota Tacoma is a much, much better truck than the previous generation.
With this high prices, no one will be able to sell vehicles as they used to. While Toyota has a good customer base that can justify the higher price, but this is up to a point, I think Toyota has crossed that line.
I am a Toyota fan, but I would not buy a Tacoma if it was not at least 10k off MSRP for the mid-trim like the TRD-Off road with the premium package, and at least 15k off for the TRD Pro and the other top trim.
Mr Toyo IS OUT OF HIS MR MIYAGI MIND
Price. Quality. Performance.
@@SLHJR0390 I agree with the issue of the higher pricing, but I still think it is too early to say that the quality is not there, and the performance is one thing that in my opinion the new Taco really excels.
Price, no V6, reliability. Mid sized trucks are crazy expensive now. Totally not worth what they are asking
To me the Frontier is the best truck to buy. Still affordable and a reliable v6
The 4 cylinder turbo gets the same gas mileage as the V6 in the Honda Ridgeline. Why couldnt Toyota have put a new improved naturally aspirated V6 in it?
Nissan frontier my friend. I've had 2 and they are simply the best.
@@lancelotlink3907The Ridgeline is a unibody with an attached bed. Apples to oranges.
@@RFJersey...I look at what a truck can do for me and the Ridgeline is a much better truck IMO. The Ridgeline carry's 4 X 8 sheets of plywood and drywall flat in the bed and Tacoma's bed is a terrible hauler of drywall and plywood plus I am 6-2 feet tall and the interior and seats of the Tacoma are to small for me and hurts my back but I fit in the Ridgeline just fine. The Ridgeline also handles much better on the road as the Tacoma has a terrible tiny truck like feel to it.
Toyota has officially shot themselves in the foot with the new Tacoma, and Tundra as well. I have been loyal to the brand since 1986, but there's no way I will purchase either of these vehicles.
Why not? I love the look of both. Currently trying to pick a make and model
So far, Tacoma sales are down almost 60%.
That’s fantastic news hopefully Toyota gets the hint
Yeah they need to come down to earth!
Love it
The V6 going to a i-Force 4-Banger with a Turbo was the biggest mistake Toyota made with the Taco!~
Am glad I got my 21 TRD Sport Taco when I did this yr, as 21 model yrs seem to be less problematic!~
Haven't watched.
Price, turbo, 4 cylinder only, mexico, cheap interior on 45k truck, and price.
New model uncertainty is a good point in video. Plastic. Ng.
Mex production, no customer gain. 4cyl, no customer gain. Turbo, no customer gain. Huge price increase, no customer gain. Toyota name: now, no customer gain. Towing capacity, no customer gain.
Be talking about this demise, years from now.
yeah, Mexico. Those guys really know how to make a truck...
1. 4 cylinder turbo
2. Cheap parts and less durable build
3. Price! Price! Price!
4 Cylinder turbo without improved mpg.
Nissan LOVES the new Tacoma!!! 😂
So does the Honda Ridgeline
@@lancelotlink3907🤣 Unibody, no thanks.
Sorry pal the Tacoma is still outselling it 3 to 1. If you actually got off your lazy butt you could have researched that and stated a fact instead of rhetoric.
@lancelotlink3907 The Ridgeline out of all mid-size trucks is doing terribly in sales. The Tacoma has sold around 70,000 plus Tacomas. The Ridgeline around 25,000
@@briansalisbury4764 Toyota makes Tacoma's like Taco Bell makes tacos. As cheap as possible with a tiny 4 banger engine and body panels that dent if you spit on it. I know I owned one and sold it after only 3 months. It was the thinnest metal on any truck ive ever owned and the bumpers were like rice paper. The interior was so small and child like the seats hurt my back and im an average height at 6-1 tall. The fake leather called pleather was crap. The engine vibrated like it was poorly and cheaply built. I lost money but couldn't stand that POS.
For the last 25 years all the hype over new tuck models couldn't be more irrelevant to me: I don't tow. I don't go off-road. I don't race the 1/4 mile. I don't like the concept of turbos. I only want an attractive, comfortable truck that has decent mileage, and can go years and years w/o breaking down. Am I in the minority? Does the truck owner majority pull utility trailers loaded with concrete blocks through Baja at 70 mph?
The first and only new vehicle I've ever bought was a 1985 Toyota 4x4 pickup. Base model 4cyl 5spd no power anything or AC. Great gas milage lasted 300.000 mil with reg maintenance and no major problems. Cost 8,500 dollars. Wish I still had it.
These car companies are losing their minds with the crazy prices.
My Toyota Tacoma 2010 cost me $26,000 in 2010. It's now 2024 and I have 145,000 miles on it now ,and it runs as good as it did when it was new.
So glad we got the last year's model. No naturally aspirated motor, no proper parking brake and only the keyless ignition... Keep it, even with the available manual transmission.
The new Toyota CEO has dishonored the Toyoda name
Excellent, honest video. Most Tacoma and Tundra videos claim that everything will turn out OK. My attitude is, "You be the guinea pig." I wouldn't touch either truck for at least two more years. Also, a price cut would be in order.
1. Price
2. I4 turbo
3. Hybrid
4. Price
5. I4 Turbo
6. And before I forget THE PRICE
and made in Mexico
@@lurkingarachnid7475Thank Bill Clinton for that “N.A.F.T.A.” And if it wasn’t for the Chicken-Tax of “1963” “25%” Tariff we would have the Global “HI-LUX” instead of the Tacoma
Toyota needs to realize that most truck people are not looking for a high RPM hotrod. We want a reliable, torque, and strong truck. My old four liter v six was that. I won't be buying a new truck. Give me what I want or someone else will.
See #1 and #6 again and again.
and.......
Smaller back seat.
Higher interest rates.
Too much tech that will break.
Everyone should be nervous after the Tundra debacle.
No one in their right mind should buy a first year vehicle and unfortunately that now applies to Toyota.
Price.
The people running Toyota today have totally forgotten what made Toyota so successful.
vehicle has sold well for years, so let's change it.
Apart from no v6, insignificant gain in fuel mpg, lack of cab space, and ridiculous price increase. I would add dropping the access cab with sucide doors. That was a huge mistake as well.
Agreed, but I’m wondering if that may come later on down the line.
There is no way a 4 banger is going to last as long as the V6. When I buy a Toyota I want to own it a relatively long time. Not confident I would want to do this with the 4 cylinder. Toyota has let us down
I was raised on Chevy, Married forty years and we have Always had Toyota's. Put two daughters through college with Toyota's because they were bullet proof... They used to be bullet proof. Wife currently drives a 2019 Camry that is a shadow of the 2012 she had previously. I drive an 04 Sequoia and had planned to purchase a 24 Sequoia this year. The new Hybrid Only engine choice Changed my mind. Not everyone wants what is dictated to them that they shall have as Henry Ford found out when GM started taking his business away. Toyota will learn, Or they will stall out and loose their place.
I will NEVER buy a turbo again. Have no desire for this truck or an ECOBOOST or anything of the like.
No turbo engine. Thanks
Just start remaking the 2015 Tacoma with the 4.0 V-6 TRD with the 5 speed automatic/manual transmission!!!
I just got a 2023 Nissan frontier pro 4x for $31,000 loaded out. All natural 3.8 v6. Pulling 310 hp. So far, it’s a good truck. I can just throw stuff in, but the steering is heavy.
Not a bad looking truck but too much $ for its class, and the turbo 4 is a big pass.
Yup. Was ready to trade in my 2011 TRD 4L V6 for a '24. Turbo 4 banger was the deal breaker.
Folks are scared of the engine
No one wants to pay over 45k for an "off road" that comes with crap tires and plastic skids
Price and reliability. It's smart to avoid all those Turbo engines...
They let their name go to their head. The frontier is a better truck
I wouldn’t go that far.
@@Icayn Only smart people will go that far.
@@Icayn 2024 Tacoma sales are down 55%. Frontier sales are up.
Frontiers suck. If not tacoma there are better options like the ranger.

Plastic craptastic interiors on a $50k truck. FO toyota
It looks like I'll be keeping my 06 Taco forever......
I'm in Vancouver, Canada. I've owned a 2011 TRD I bought brand new in 2010. 4L V6, Not a single issue. Routine maintenance only, 220,000 miles. When the 2024 was revealed, I was ready to trade mine in. Until I saw a new TRD PRO would cost me MSRP $83,000. With tax, $92,000. I'm keeping my 2011. Toyota can stick it.
I will hang on to my 2007 Taco. Just hit 250K miles on it.
@@pierogi210 💯👍
Frontiers looking really good rn
If they had taken the Honda V6 and placed in a Tacoma for under $45k they would have had a clear winner. I have a 23' Ridgeline and that engine absolutely rocks, its almost too good as I'vce already been pulled over 3 different times for speeding. But the Ridgeline will never be an offroad vehicle, thus the reason I've kept my Titan. I can't imagine spending over $50k for a 4 cylinder engine.
That Honda V6 is the smoothest truck engine and the Ridgeline is the best handling truck I have ever driven. Its very solid truck that can haul dirt bikes, boats and 4x8 sheets of plywood and drywall flat in the bed.
@@lancelotlink3907 without a body on frame, it’s just a crossover with a bed, not a truck.
I have a 1991 Toyota….purchased new….. everyday driver… February 2024 I was ready to purchase a new truck…. When I first went shopping…Toyota was my ONLY choice… HOWEVER… when arriving at dealership I realized Toyota had made many changes… actually from the ground up…. After MUCH consideration and heart felt reasons… I decide on 2024 Nissan Frontier Pro4X….. I DONT want a 4 cylinder turbo….. turbos have many issues I don’t want !!!!! And the price is simply RIDICULOUS !!!!! For what they offer!!!! EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in TOYOTA!!!! And the Tundra with 6 cylinder???? Really??? BTW …. 5 months in my frontier pro4x …. I AM THRILLED with my decision!!!!
Around here in MD the Dealers can not get them fast enough and very seldom have one in the lot . I have not seen a TRD with access cap . Only disappointed is > no V6 anymore . Prices are out of control on just about any car/ truck
TURBO 4 A JOKE!! MORE HEAT, MORE STRESS AND MORE PARTS = LESS DEPENDABILITY AND AFTER WARRANTY DEPRECIATION WILL HIT TRUCK!! TOYOTA HAS REALLY SCREWED UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SAD!!!
You would think Toyota did their research on what customers want. We bought Toyota because it was affordable and reliable, now it's Lexus pricing for less with plastic quality. I hope they won't tarnish the 4runner, at least that is made in Japan.
If they sell the model in Japan they're subject to the Japanese culture in which the manufacturer maintains the vehicle at no extra cost for the life of it.
Bought my Tacoma TRD offroad in Sep '21 for 45k. I will drive this one forever. Especially since the same model is closer to 55k now.
These vehicles are priced twice what they're really worth. Us suckers aren't getting sucked anymore .
I have the 2022 Taco SR5 2WD, nice and smooth, I put less than 25k on it and religiously change oil at every 4.5k miles.Test drove the 2024 SR5 4x4, nice peppy and quick, I think I’m gonna wait as well as go check out the 2024 Frontier.
I bought a 2022 TRD off-road with way more options than I wanted, but I needed a vehicle. Out the door it was less than the current MSRP for the off road with minimum options.
@@doom4067
Same here. Bought new 22 TRD OR with manual trans. + additional options: LED's, Lane Change, Sliding Rear Window, Power Driver's Seat, etc. Out the door $38,500. It was a cancelled pre-order. Tampa area.
Bought new 2023 taco..love it.. *3.5 engine is bullet prove after 2020. 23.5 mpg combine city and highway. Marvel mystery oil in the gas dissolves Carbon on intake valves because of direct injection
This is the first time I see someone saying they didn’t like the design of the new generation. Everything else, I agree with you
Agreed, it looks sharp. Just add the option for a v6.
I bought a 4wd trd quad cab at the end of 2019 for 35 k out the door
I would not pay 45 as you reported
Asking Tundra prices for a Tacoma I believe is the main reason. Ranger Raptor is like $10k cheaper than a Tacoma TRD Pro and it has way more horsepower.
I’ve never seen a ranger raptor on the road 😅
@@extremepcs2807 it also comes with a shit box 10 speed auto transmission that fails after 60k miles
@@driftx2 are you talking about the Ranger or Ford?
@Playingwithproxies I have see one in dealer lot more than 2 months
Just like Europeans, they let the accountants run the company instead of the engineers.
Maybe no one else cares about this but no more rear doors or jump seats on xtra cab models is a deal breaker for me.
Higher msrp and interest rates.. I'm sure most manufacturers are suffering.
Nissan Frontier sales are up.
@@ronnie_5150 interesting. They are priced lower than Tacomas, correct?
@@R281 Yes, and by a fair bit with comparable trim levels.
My 1986 Toyota when I drained the rear diff, had a great big chunk of metal cutting drain out. I was very surprised at that size of it.
These Tacomas are selling at over $60k. Nobody is going to pay $60k - $80k for a Tacoma, except for people with money to burn. The tech is always a step behind, the ride is average at best, and gas mileage is subpar. Toyota's arrogance is going to destroy them.
I agree, if Toyota doesn't regroup fast and get a (true) new model Japanese built Tacoma on the market with non turbo with good HP, they will be out of luck.
All reasons why I bought a 2024 4Runner rather than the Tacoma.
I got a 22 TRD Pro 4runner because of all this turbo and 4 cyl stuff coming, now its here and no one wants it that knows vehicles. Plus I got the tried and true 4.0L V6 and reliable 5 spd automatic. I don't envy those buying new vehicles now. Huge profits for the mfgr (Toyota) and not much for the consumer, mexico made, lower end parts, turbo's, etc. I hear the 2025 4runner will have same running gear 4 cyl turbo, whew, what junk.
I owned a 2007 Tacoma 4x4. What a wonderful truck and it could haul my 6000 lb travel trailer without breaking a sweat. I curse the fool who totaled me out. Also bought a 2008 Tundra 4x4 because I needed its 11000+ towing capacity. That Tundra has been flawless except for needing to replace the serpentine belt tensioner. I’m 78 and expect the Tundra to outlive me and become a family heirloom. Had a current gen Tacoma as a rental a few years back and it was disappointing and would not buy. Been following the rocky history of the V6 Tundra and sketchy omens about the next gen Tacomas and 4Runner and would not buy any of them. Have had the itch for a few years for the 5th gen 4Runner and bought one before end of availability. Love it. I now consider myself a future non-buyer of Toyota trucks. Also hate any brand vehicle with bolt on tablet displays. Thus ends my rant.
No v6? Bye bye! NOT buy buy!
Plastic is not your friend in the engine compartment.
Toyota messed up replacing the naturally aspirated, long-lasting V6 with an overworked turbocharged 4 cylinder. My last three trucks have been Toyotas, but my run with them has come to an end. I won't buy a turbo engine truck.
$38.3k 2024 SR 4 door 4x4 with black badge, rides awesome and looks stellar. Like 80%+ of trucks it’s primarily an asphalt rider with occasional back land visits. Perfect for my needs.
Did Toyota hire ex-Ford engineers and designers? Maybe. I was ready to buy a new one, then 2024 model came out and I started looking at used. I'm not using it for a business, contrary to what CA DMV insists in order to charge commercial registration. No, I want an inexpensive VERY simple small truck that NEVER brakes down and can handle some simple homeowner tasks for carrying stuff around without mucking up my SUV's. It should last a VERY long time, especially if I'm paying mortgage prices for it. That isn't going to happen with a turbo engine and all kinds of electronic and plastic bling. Every single feature represents one more thing that is potentially going to break and cost a fortune to fix. Toyota used to follow the KISS principal. I think they've become Americanized with Ford and GMC engineers.
Priced me out of the market, not just Toyota. My first Toyota was 1985 .
Like wtf with prices??? Like they are INSANE for a country that is struggling to pay rent.
Don't forget the delivery delays. They were several months late due to EPA certification issues.
I was seriously looking at ordering a TRD Off Road. However, using the Web Site build & price app, I couldn't keep it under $50K. If I wanted a bit more it was getting kinda pricey. Various attempts ended up around $53K. Even w/ the pricing craziness lately, buying a moderately configured midsized truck shouldn't water your eyes that badly.
The Turbo engine was kind of of a negative. I was driving a 2021 Ranger at the time and I just never learned to love that engine. It was a turd if you caught it off boost. I can't imagine that Toyota would be able to execute it that much better. I hated the indecisive 10 speed as well, but that's another story.
So, I ended up buying a 2024 Frontier PRO4x. It's not without it's own issues. My biggest annoyance was the premium package. I had to skip it it because the sunroof steals too much headroom, I'm 6'3". It doesn't have all the fancy off-road gadgetry. Other than that, it's great. especially the nice torquey (non-turbo) V6. FWIW, the mileage is better than I expected - better than the Ranger. Oh, and the price was thousands less than the Toyota. Sure, it's not quite as sophisticated or tech laden, but it's more than sufficient. I'm happy with the choice I made.
What's more is that I'm seeing a lot more new (22+) Frontiers running locally than I used to. They were really uncommon before. I think that Toyota's misstep/loss has become Nissan's gain.
My 2020 Taco value just went up.
In NY, Long Island in particular, for the SR5 Long Bed and TRD, they’re flying off the lot for full sticker price + dealer-specific add-ons. CRAZYYY.
In certain markets, that’s what you see. Not to get political, but in the conservative areas, they don’t sell as well. In the progressive area, they sell much better.
For my part, it is WAY, Way overpriced. But perhaps even more important is the loss of a naturally aspirated V6 in favor of a turbo 4 cyl. Many people are becoming aware of the potential downsides of turbo systems, and while they CAN be great for fuel efficiency and power, a turbo is nearly always a maintenance hand grenade. For my part, I've been in the market for a Taco to replace my 2006 Denali, and while I was okay with moving from a fairly simple 6.0L to a slightly more complicated (ie newer) truck with a V6, there is zero chance I'd willingly move from any naturally aspirated engine to a forced induction system. At least when it comes to my daily/work vehicle. I am only one person and certainly will not make an impact, BUT, knowing half a dozen techs, with three of them owning their own shops and having ALL of them avoiding turbo engines at all costs, there may be something there regarding "turbos" and long-term reliability. Even for Toyota.
ALL Toyota Autos Are Getting Out Of Hand In Prices! No One Can Afford It! There No V6 On The Toyota Tacoma
I would never be interested in a 4 cylinder on a pickup thats ridiculous
All the mid sized trucks are off their rocker with the prices.
Plus a smaller gas tank 18.2 vs 3rd gen at 21.1 gallons and almost the MPG’s..still no hood gas struts for the price..my 2001 Camry came with gas strut for the hood…
Try and drive a Nissan. You may not go back. Toyota has the same problem as American SUVs. Own the market, make changes no one asked for, charge more for it to go “upmarket”. Then watch the sales go down. Are they aware interest rates make car buying a challenge right now? It’s an unforced error.
Way to expensive to even consider any more. Also, they try to put too much crap in them that initially may seem neat, but ends up not being used. simply not worth it any more
Clay3580-it’s “too” expensive. Second grade spelling error buddy.
The price is the main reason for me! That’s why I bought the 23 TRD off road 4x4. ! I never liked turbo engines any kind, anyway because they need more attention to the engine but one thing I have to mention is most Tacoma owners don’t tow a lot of stuff !
This 2022 TRD Off Road 4x4 owner does. Mainly use for frequent camping trips pulling a small utility styled tricked-out camper. Mainly travel into the Smokey & Blue Ridge Mtn. areas from our Tampa home. We set-up base camp then off-road & hike in nearby areas. No problems & EZ pull. Also, really love my Manual Trans in the Taco.
I'm in Vancouver Canada. MSRP for the Trail Hunter with tax in is $100,000.
Towing capacity is linked to changing the suspension from leaf springs to coils. Better ride, but less stability pulling.
Well, personally, I’m an old Mopar guy looking for an overlander. Obviously I went for jeep first. After understanding the stalantis horseshit, I went to Toyota. The allocation model, the dealer markups and outright rarity of anything on any dealer lot, I was forced to look at Ford and Chevy for the first time in my existence. It’s really as easy as that. I never drove one, I never got past the sales experience to even look further into the vehicle and its functionality and its performance. Look at Toyota as unobtainiam.

Had a few 4 bangers they were awesome but slow perfect for a truck 1/3 the size and had tons of fun off-roading em with rwd
FINALLY...rear DISC brakes and a (selectively) FULLY-BOXED frame (thicker steel used where needed)....but they cheaped out on the engine and being made in Mexico.
They need a 6 speed manual strip down version and price
Whole car market needs a massive correction. These automakers are way to greedy
Way too expensive for a small truck. Body design is terrible, go look at the side profile of the new Tacoma in person. The area in front of the rear wheels looks terrible, it looks dented to shit because of the bodywork design. And then there’s wheels and tires. Toyota did like most brands do and put smooth riding tires on them so people experience a smooth test drive. But anyone who would buy one of these trucks is also going to want to at minimum replace the tires with more off-road bias tires. If not change the wheels also. The 4x4 models start at $45k at my local dealer and with these wheels and tires they look like cheap fleet work trucks.
I’ll keep my Highlander and Camry and continue renting trucks from Home Depot when I occasionally need one.
I looked forward to the Tacomas redesign. I was actively shopping for a new Vehicle. I currently drive a Hybrid SUV, which is fine, but I miss my truck and it's greater ability to haul things home and tow more.
The first problem is PRICE ! Are they Nuts ! I'm older now and like a nicer interior . So I looked at the Limited trim Tacoma. That whopping almost 11 K Price increase over the previous year is mind blowing. And for me, a deal killer all in it's own.
Second, I won't go back to a Non-Hybrid vehicle. I love getting 37 MPG in my Mid Size SUV. So when the new Tacoma came out with a Hybrid powertrain, I thought , Great ! That's what I wanted. Then I found out Toyota Engineers used the I Force Max engine for POWER and TORQUE, not Fuel Economy like a Hybrid is for. What a Bone Headed Move ! The Hybrid only gets ONE MPG better than the non Hybrid Tacoma. Really ? I mean REALLY ? ONE ?
This is a Mid Size Truck. It's not meant to be a beast. The facts that people buy this truck to do exactly what I want it for, hauling stuff home on the weekends, and light towing, and just having a Man Vehicle ( Truck ) and not really "offroading" all day every day has gone over Toyotas heads. 98% of the time this will be used for going to work. We need better Economy.
I have nothing against a 4 Cyl engine. In fact most Vehicles are totally overpowered today, and that causes problems more than anything. But if Toyota can't build a 4 Cyl engine that gets better Fuel Economy, Like over 30 MPG, and especially the Hybrid, what good is it ? The Toyota Highlander can get 36 MPG and the two vehicles are basically the Same Size.
That's my take on it anyway. To Much Money. And a redesign that isn't what the Public at large really need. Sure there will be some fanboys that get them anyway. But I just won't pay that much for a midsize truck that really isn't good at anything it's supposed to be good at...
need a 4.0l v8 mpg will be just fine as fuel= weight equals movement hence why a corvette can get great Mpg
It's called INFLATION! Money is not worth as much as it was 1, 2, 3, 4 years ago.
I wonder why?? 😂😂😂
Bought a new small pickup 6 months ago. Came down to the Tacoma vrs the Ridgeline. based on history and reliability I really wanted the Tacoma. but as soon as i found out - no 6 cylinder - and a Turbo - no thanks = plus the ridgeline was 10K cheaper, roomier, better equipped and more comfortable. no contest

I have a 2020 TRD sport Tacoma which I love and has been a great truck but lm sorry the new one is ugly as shit and a disappointment
Blame the lobbyists and Congress for the chicken tax otherwise we would have the affordable standard Helix.
Each retouch costs more and drives off more customers with unwanted changes and the higher price.
Price, for sure the main reason…..
These modern trucks just plain suck at this point. All brands are cheaply made with a premium price.
I don’t think its problem where it’s made only because I have late 2017 model made in Mexico with no problems whatsoever 105,000 miles on it right now. It’s not Japan’s model any more this was all done in house here in the USA engineered and designed and priced
Turbo is not the problem all your big trucks use turbos and go hundreds and hundreds of thousand miles without a turbo being replaced and it’s not because it’s a diesel if you’re gonna comment about that It’s still a turbo on a engine!
Why are you so upset about your own comment?
Huge price hike, made in mexico, they just factored in the dealership markups to MSRP now. I dont want a twin turbo truck, I just want a NA v6 engine or V8 in larger trucks..
Is this just for the 2024 tacomas. I be been looking into getting a tacoma, looking from 2018-2022 range. Trying to find one with a v6 Enginee, not that v4 turbo bs
ICE Tacoma are flying of the lots but hybrid Tocamas and hybrid Tundra as well aren’t selling at all.
If it has battery propulsion in any way Americans will not buy it.
This is awesome . Not in the sense of wanting to Toyota to fail. Cause I love toyota but for the car world in general . I hope all these hybrids and over engineered cars fail . They will have to lessen emissions and go back to proven models. The leap we took in the last 5-10 years is just insane. It was overly quick. It is going to bite us. I feel bad for the people that fell for it . I don't trust any of it .
R u guys talking about the 2024s?
You’re kidding right? Where I live the dealerships sell every single Tacoma that arrives, and sell them at a markup….
Where’s that because in the mountain west are dealer parking lots full unsold Tacomas
Nah!! Nice try.
The only midsize trucks that sell well where I am at are the Mavericks sort of and the GMC and Chevy Colorado twins that are out now. They really sell a shitload of them
Why are the prices so high? They moved the manufacturing to MEXICO where labor costs re much less, and they want to charge way more. Unknown reliability. and prices
