300 miles in on our 24 TRD OR and LOVE the powertrain, seating position, and overall interior layout. Beautiful Taco! I’ve had my SR5 since late May and have put 5,200 miles on it, loving every minute. I can relate to many of your comments. While I wish I had the tech and cameras that come with the TRD, my SR5 is fully loaded for its trim level and is awesome as well. I find the MPG info a bit annoying and nonsensical,. The "check the rear seats" alert confused me at first, but I realized it's a helpful reminder to ensure no child or pet is left behind. 😊 One feature I love is the smart key system. Just carrying the smart card , never having keys with me and being able to start and cool the car before getting in is fantastic. The app is pretty good too; at $15 a month, it’s well worth it. I’ve added some great tires and wheel mods: LT285/70R-17 BFG KO3 C tires, METHOD MR707 17x8.5 +25 offset wheels-no lift, no rub, no poke. It looks clean and beautiful. I get your point about the iPhone, CarPlay, and Toyota. I face the same issue, but it’s just because you’re connected to Toyota for remote start. You just need to reactivate Apple CarPlay since they share the same connection slot. Sorry to hear about your paint issues. I dont feel like the smaller gas tank is that big a deal, only three gallon loss, but I tend to be more light footed around town so dont find myself at the gas station as often. How much did Toyota pay you to promote this garbage? And for if some odd reason you actually like this thing over the 3rd generation or even over walking then you have it on that long enough wait until 101 that it has starts coming to surface you are already seen a few of the little things like the quality of the paint there's a lot more you haven't seen yet but it will show it will show its true colors you're going to wish you never sold your third generation this piece of junk!! All I had to do was drive one for 1 hour and I knew this thing was garbage from top to bottom brought up back to the salesman and told him the same thing he actually agreed because I told him straight up don't lie and don't play games with me it screams garbage people need to start telling it the way it is salesman said it's better to buy the 3rd generation and I know he's definitely right about that I was able to test both vehicles check them outside by side boy that Toyota ever screw up with this, I wouldn't sell this thing to my worst enemy but figure this one out the Toyota sells it to their customers!!!! Probably because it’s built cheap😂
All vehicles are built poorly now, but this taco sets the new low.
Paid $38k for my trd off-road in 2020. The dealer wants $20k more for a 2024 trd off-road. Uh no thanks.
@@Ww8.3 I got a 2 year lease return on my '17 TRD Sport for 28K back in Nov '19. No regrets.
No V6 and to much good bye toyota 😢😢😢
What about the V6 makes you want it over the 4cyl Turbo?
Hear me out, wear your seatbelt…
Hi,can we collaborate on 2024 Tacoma accessories about your RUclips?
What is a church mouse though? 😂😂
I’m glad someone commented on that 😂
I regret you buying the truck.
Too many QC issues coupled with a massive price hike is a terrible combo.
@@m.687 have you driven one?
@@MuscleAmerican No desire. I can't entertain the idea of buying one based on the reduction in QC.
@@MuscleAmerican
More QC issues being discovered daily. Please watch out for potholes or dips in the road. Looks like your suspension may explode on you.

Seatbelt chime dislike? Wear your seatbelt!
@@joeimbesi5361 absolutely! I’m not saying to not wear it
Why dont you just put the seat belt on😂
Motor is junk, plastic wiring mess
Yea
Yes. There is no muscle in the new taco and its not American Japanese company made in mexico. Ranger Raptor would have fit the channel name better. American muscle made in Michigan.
@@marklihsu Raptor Ranger is in the works 😏
Putting your seatbelt on saves not only your life but half of the time of this video.
@@joelcazares9986 I never said not to wear it
Definitely wear seatbelts while driving. But the warning chime is very annoying when doing something like moving the truck in the driveway. I’ll get an ODB device to disable the chimes (but one that doesn’t require a subscription).
Sorry i stop watching after spending more than 4mins on seatbelt chime! Though u were going to talk about more importantly subjects.
@@spycharlie you can skip around
"importantly" is a word?
Requires a subscription to remember you left the AC on is just a d**k move.
I have never in my life seen a vehicle manufacturer hate their customers so much that they would actually sell this piece of junk to them it's disgraceful and it's very sad!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@truthnow902 Remember when the 3rd Gen came out and everyone was hating on it? No difference here. Don’t get me wrong I loved my 3rd Gen, it was a great truck. But it’s not defect free. It has its own unique set of flaws.
@@MuscleAmerican oh definitely I agree with you the third generation is not perfect but compared to this 4th generation is 4th generation truck has so much problems from mechanical to transmission to drive shafts from the metal that's used it's very cheap in tinny the dash is all cheap plastic I just don't see any quality in this truck at all like I can definitely understand there was a couple little issues but this truck is almost everything about it is bad from top to bottom and I would expect this kind of quality from domestic vehicles but foreign vehicle like Toyota all the experience they have of making trucks and they come up with this like to me it's a disgrace I hope that your truck serves you well these things are very expensive but if you watch RUclips videos there's so many people having so many problems with them like I do feel bad for people in a way but in a way I don't because everybody should do their homework before they buy these things!!!
4 cylinder but look see hood too long look truck ugly make in mexical
