thing I noticed, is when putting the strut back in (with 2" spacer), it was crazy tight to the point I needed just a little bit more, then a little bit more. so I loosened the 36mm Axle Nut to where it was still threaded on the axle, but only by a few threads. that gave me that extra bit to get the lower control arm to give me an extra inch downwards.
Just bought a 21 rebel and there was one 1” difference between front and back. To put the 2” lift in the front I had to put a 1 1/2” spacer in the back so the front wasn’t higher.
@@WaterFowler41 okay thanks buddy ! Yeah all my tires were 55 psi when I brought it from the dealership. Thanks for all the helpful video’s keep them coming !
Great video. I want to attempt this soon on my truck. Could I remove the lower ball joint on the lower control arm so I don’t have to remove any brake components and steering tie rod? Thanks.
Assuming you’re talking about a Rebel or a Ram with ORP springs i wouldn’t add Bilsteins and the Motofab kit. If you want more lift than what the 6112’s will do then you’re looking at a full lift kit. The spacers cause too many down travel issues.
Just installed my motofab leveling kit based on this vid and one from DooWork. Thank you this was very helpful. Running 2856520s on the 2” lift and stockers. So far so good. What did you do for the speedometer correction?
What’s up brother question any issues with alignment after the level. 4 shops and my truck still pulls to the right im lost and so are the shops doing the alignment. Any advice would be huge thanks I have a 2021 Laramie
@@WaterFowler41 I’m taking off the 2.5 motofab level kit and installing the 3.5 rough country lift kit with control arms and new struts and shocks praying it’ll correct the geometry issue 🤞🏽
The Rebel has 1” lift compared to the normal Rams. It’s the same height as the Rams with the Off road package. Only difference between the ORP and the Rebel is the Rebel also comes with bilstein 4600’s.
Does the one inch lift on the rebel affect the level making it 3.5 front in total, my shop is recommending upper control arms because most 3.5 " levels recommend them. Or is the factory upper control arm fine with this kit
Correct 1” plus the 2” leveling kit makes this a 3” kit compared to a basic Ram. Considering our Rebels have the same UCAs and the basic Rams it’s definitely worth replacing them with newer ones to accommodate the new angles
@@WaterFowler41 what’s the part number for the 2 inch level kit? And is the 2.5 inch not recommended? My plan is to install method r20 wheels and Mickey Thompson Baja mud terrain 35s

Yup, it’s a tight fit with 2” spacers. I can’t imagine doing this with a 2.5 or 3” kit. Good call on loosening the wheel nut!

Did u have to change the upper control arms ?
On a Rebels it’s highly recommended
Yes I did
Great video im thinking of doing the same to my 2020 rebel
I’ll have ready lift installed with 3.5 lift and it’s to high,, can I replace to 2 inch spacers instead?
Outstanding informative video. Thanks!
Question off the subject, do you have all your tires at 55 psi or do you do the recommended buy the factory 55 psi front and 45 psi rear ?
I’ve been running them at the 55/45 like the door says
@@WaterFowler41 okay thanks buddy ! Yeah all my tires were 55 psi when I brought it from the dealership. Thanks for all the helpful video’s keep them coming !

No you’ll have to work from the upper control arm with these kits.
I did 2.5 on mine and now the front is a inch higher then the rear how does that make sense 🤦♂️
Do you have the torque specs To everything?
Yup,
Upper ball joint is 65 ft-lbs
Upper strut nuts is 30 ft-lbs
Sway bar hardware is 35 ft-lbs
Lower strut hardware is 150 ft-lbs
So this may be a dumb question, but could you pair this MOTOFAB leveling kit with Bilstein 6100 up front and 5160 shocks on the rear?

How did this kit end up holding up?

What did you do for the speedometer correction?
I didn’t change my tires (yet) so no need for speed calibration.
Great to hear the video helped! Enjoy the new ride height!
How are they holding up?
Still running them!
Do you lose the oem handling/ smoothness? Is it a tight and stiff dive?
Nope

Never any issues, i go to the same Firestone shop and everything aligns well
@@WaterFowler41 I’m taking off the 2.5 motofab level kit and installing the 3.5 rough country lift kit with control arms and new struts and shocks praying it’ll correct the geometry issue 🤞🏽
Do you recommend these after 3 years or do recommend doing a diffrent kit?
And do you recommend getting new control arms?
I have since installed bilstein 6112’s and core4x4 UCAs which is my favorite suspension set up.
If you adjust the level of head ligth at lifted 2"?
you should check them out and make sure you're not blinding those in front of you. there should be instructions in the manual for measuring
Where is the mark now is it in the back or front?
The back since the struts have to be rotated to fit with the puck kit
Great video. But you didn't give a good look at the truck after install.....
Check out my Instagram. Plenty of pictures there!

Superb!
Stock tires on my rebel lasted 26,000 miles until bald
Yeah, Duratracs wear fast for sure... when he said 30-40K miles, I was like... what? :)
Can u fit 35s on R20s ?
I’m not sure, I imagine fitment will come down to offset
@@WaterFowler41 if I add the motofab 2” lift spacers to the strut do I need to switch the control arms ?
I’d recommend it
Water Fowler. I just installed these on my 2021 Ram Rebel but I am .5 inches higher in the front over the rear. Why would that be?
Are you sure you purchased a 2” spacer and not a 2.5” by accident?
@@WaterFowler41 I ordered part number DR-2 2"
Hmm I’d double check that your measuring this from the center of your wheel hub to the edge of your fender flair.
