In my town there are Wrangler sports riding around with $12k in dealer installed options that would only cost $4000 if you did it yourself.
Roman, I would put a level kit on and put 35's on it. Use the Bilstein 5000 kit. There is no spacer kit. This kit actually keeps your upper ball joints from hyper extending which keeps the ball joints in place.
I would go with a 4" lift all around with a level. That is what I have on my 18 Ram Big horn, and I run 37's with 2.5 inch negative offset wheels, and 3" fender flairs. I went less expensive and put a flowmaster exhaust on, done by me. I love my Ram. Not saying it beats the Rebel, but it works for me!
So Mopar takes the design Vararam has been using, added more plastic, slaps their name on it and charges 3x as much... At least the Vararam system must be a good one if Mopar is adopting it.

The lift and bigger tires will be great. I think you need a real light bar, the two up there look dorky. Then when the upgrade is done you'll need to do the MPG test again to see how bad it got.
They needed to get a little bit older Ram and go with the long travel suspension from KORE for the Ramrunner. A leveling kit doesn't put this in the same field as the Raptor.
The truck is awesome. I got rid of a really nice Chevy Silverado Duramax 4x4 6" lift, crew cab 3/4 ton 3 years ago. This video makes me want a RAM now. I currently own a 2016 Challenger Scat Pac. Dodge power is pretty strong. I swear my car has more hp than advertised. Your exhaust is dramatic. I would not be surprised if the mods did not add a bit more power. Even if it did not it sounds like it did. I also saw the video when you put the new tires on it. That is one very hot truck. Great job on the mods and upgrades. Boat load of money for the toy. I am currently restoring a 1986 Corvette. Just got it painted. Getting ready to do the interior. Also just picked up a 1966 International Scout. Next project. Have fun man.
Guys I watch a ton of your videos and I have never commented before but I'll tell you what this was a great episode. Andre you have really got something here with this video series!
I’d like to commend the Service Technicians for their skill, demeanor, and professionalism! The bad truck just went beyond bringing it’s A game! I think I’ve found my next model of Ram!
Those "offroad" steps are going to fold and smack the rocker if that thing comes down with any kind of real weight on them. Doesn't matter how strong the step itself is with those flimsy brackets.
Donovan is a great mechcanic, and a really good dude! Johnson Auto Plaza is the best dealer in Colorado, I've dealt with 12 different dealers and will only recommend Johnson for anything vehicle related!
I was thinking the same thing for the airbox and exhaust, almost seems like catalog manufacturer 'performance' upgrades are full of shit or something...
The Rebel is clawing up the hill on 33's just fine. 35's give the pumpkin an inch before deflation. Everyone is talking bigger tires & lift, but the performance upgrades are most important. Nice add ons!
What I like about this upgrade are the use of genuine Mopar parts. Glad the series went that route to show what you really can do. MOPAR should really do something special for you guys after doing this!
I like MOPAR, but all of that stuff was stupidly over priced. A K&N intake and a Flowmaster exhaust would be cheaper than just the MOPAR exhaust, and both of them you are paying for the name.
That's Mopar for you. I have a 2019 Rebel. I'm running with a Borla ATAK on mine, (with tips lol). Also a 2" leveling kit, 20" wheels, and 33" tires. And a Vararam CIA, which looks like the one in the video, but way less $$$.
Jason Boston so I’m a MP on base and there are some rams with what seems to be a borla atak my mustang Gt is super loud but I don’t want it like those hemis gunning it past the gate blowing out my ear buds. Are they decent if you just get the mufflers?
So you get "lower profile" steps that look exactly the same as stock, you get a cat back exhaust that is choked down at the tips, you get beadlock wheels but don't even use the beadlock stickers, a Rambar that you had to drill in your Ram truck and intake. Makes sense...... normally the first off roading thing you should get is left and tires right ?
you can step up using sliders and they protect you from damage rather than subjecting you to more damage like side steps. why put side steps on an off-roader? side steps should take points off that TFL off-road index.
Great video showing the mods. I have to imagine you broke down the prices but mopar probably comped them for you guys. A bit over 7 grand for nothing that added to compete with the raptor. Plus aftermarket you could of got away with way less money or spent the same and lifted it as well as those parts.
Great video and sounds amazing. I got RAM 1500 REBEL and I'm thinking of change new exhaust but I got some low level question. 1. Will Cat-Back Exhaust systems burn more gas than original exhaust? 2. What's the difference between Cat-Back Exhaust systems and Black Series Cat Back Exhaust Systems? Thank you so much for your time.
Definitely like the new MOPAR additions especially the catback performance exhaust, the cool air intake, and the wheels. Would be cool to get the fake beadlock rim part of the wheel painted RAM REBEL Red/TFL Red to match the truck. The sports bar is cool, I just wish there were 3 lights for better visual balance instead of just two so far apart even if they light up the night. The gradient stickers are tasteful as well. I have to agree with Roman than 35s and 3-6 inch lift would really set it off. The Ram Rebel Rouser is on her way. I look forward to the off road portion with all the new additions. Obviously a lift with bigger tires will make more of a difference off road than an exhaust and a sportsbar with lights, but she is definitely headed in the right RAM direction. Thanks for sharing more about one of my favorite trucks.
Its a common misconception that beadlocks are illegal. But there arent any states that list them as not being street legal. Really, they are just a PITA for a daily driver because of having to re-torque them, and most tire shops won't touch them. BTW, it is required to have those offroad lights covered while on the street. Having them turned on while on the street is illegal in all 50 states.
i cant wait for the ram rebel to get the new 3.0 eco diesel engine. i was going to buy a rebel but i was hesitant because it had worse mpg than the big horn, no 360 camera, and no middle bench seat option just a permanent console. though that console is the best console i have ever seen hands down 10/10. If it gets the new eco diesel engine ill buy it. hopefully a 360 camera too. its needed..
Could have probably gone without a step and got a proper skid bar, but once you guys get a lift on it that thing is going to be sweet. Can't wait for the next video.
Fun build guys. I agree with Roman, it needs some amount of lift, even if it’s a front level and it NEEDS taller tires. Those stock tires look terrible with the beadlock wheels. The RamBar is a neat feature. The sidesteps are ridiculous and do not belong on an off-road truck. Sounds AWE-SUM!
Loving your Rebel project. I wished I knew about the Mopar cat-back exhaust. I just did the flowmaster muffler swap and it sounds good. But I love your exhaust better. I'm going to be getting a "rollbar" for my Rebel to, but I'm on the fence about the Mopar Rambar. It's a little to high for my taste. I would like it to be flush with the Cab of the truck. I really love the new intake system. Let us know how it will handle with water crossings.

Love the new add ons to the Ram. Wish they would've used the hood scoops on hood for the air cooling system and made them functional. A lift is definitely needed and also auxiliary switches would be nice
Make sure you charge the air filter if it is an absorbed cotton style. Usually the oil has a colour like red or blue. your new filter looked very White the oil they used might be clear from the factory but I doubt it. The colour allows you to tell when it is completely clean (white) then completely recharged (red) . If you run it without oil it will be almost impossible to clean it out when it is time to do so.

Cold air intakes like that can be really bad for off-road, you have to be much more careful in water that it doesn't get a full charge into the engine bay. It almost looks like it drains into the intake.
Great vid! But why wasn't the technician wearing goggles? That's an OSHA violation. (Just wanted to politely post that before someone comments as if they're going to issue a fine to the dealer.) The build is coming nicely and I can't wait to see more!
The new sound is amazing. However, from the video it sounds loud as hell. Will I be able to arrive home late at night or make an early departure to go to the airport without my neighbors hating me? My question, is it over the top? ...is it something you could do to your daily driver? Thanks for the video guys. This is probably my favorite channel on RUclips.

I don't know about Colorado law, but I know guys in Michigan who habe been pulled over and ticketed for uncovered roof mounted lights. I think 38 inches off the ground is the limit for any light over the candlepower of a running light. Off road is the only place they can be uncovered. Oh by the way great job on the rebel mods so far.
I'm really surprised the Rebel doesn't have an AUX panel. That was honestly the first thing I said when I saw how they installed the switch for the lights.
I understand you are being somewhat sponsored by Mopar & the shop, but for the average do it yourselfer I would definitely be checking aftermarket for parts. Sounds good though!
The mopar exhaust sounds good, but I'm not sure it sounds good enough to cost over twice the price of my Flowmaster American Thunder. The American Thunder is only about *800, and strikes a great balance of very little drone, but a nice throaty growl when you want it. (PART# 817843, for those interested) I'm also not quite convinced with that ram bar. Seems like a lot to add just for more light locations, IMO. Also, not sure I'd pay $100 for stic....I mean Decals. Although I do like the way they look.

Hello. Great video. The stock 18/9 wheels you pulled off, did you replace with the 18/9 for the new wheel?
I bought my charger from johnson auto plaza 5 years ago. Still kickin :D
Have you guys thought of taking a 5.0 F-150 and doing the same thing? Off road worthy with performance upgrades!
Great exhaust! Looks good. Can't wait for bigger tires and a lift. 37s please?!!
Truck sound very good Lift and tires now
Cant wait for a lift and tires on the trouser arouser. Looking good.
315/70/17 KO2 C rated please. Put it on a level playing field with the Scraptor.
Hard emphasis on C rated! It's what the raptor comes with, and oh so much smoother
