110 is a normal summer day for us in Phoenix, we have had almost 30 days over that this summer. Our 2008 Tundra 4.7 pool service truck has gone 345,000 miles in this heat with no problems
My 02 f150 been is SoCal for its whole life have had 126 degrees for a week straight took it off roading burnouts redlining nothing wrong till I got the wrong transmission fluid and put it in and fried the trans

But I have 40000km on a 7 months old truck and 35000 is all ruff roads.. I have had to replace the rear calipers and brakes 3 times all warranty. I have had a rock go through the rim from in side. The mirror inside broke and the plastic pieces on the lower rear quarter panel are falling off... I will run this truck to 150000km and most likely buy the same truck ... I have had 8 trucks in the last 13years and the Ram has been the best for me.. looking forward to the T-rex... would like to punished that Truck just like this Rebel looking. Have a loving day.. Great show
@@atodaso1668 I haven't tried one but my friend had one out here and he had to get out of it at 160000km .. the biggest reason we don't keep our trucks passed that is because they are off warranty and they cost so much money to fix now.. I kept one truck out here to / 300,000km cost me a lot of money to keep running and at the end of it the engine went and it was a diesel...and that was ten Grand gone..... and my personal truck is a 1977 1 ton Ford 5 speed never breaks down... Rinconmaniac Looks good to me, handles them quite good. Really doesn’t look any different than a raptor. I would say the raptor looks even a bit more extreme in the taking up of the wheel well. Would you have rather have donut tires on there? Daytons maybe? You obviously don’t wheel much.
Roman must be feeling better this trip. He was all gung ho and not worried to much about damage! It makes for a much better video when everyone is having fun!
576575s I wouldn’t want to take my truck on it. I would like anyone that thinks these trails are not hard enough, I would like to see you do it. I will laugh when your scraping and dragging your ass on everything. I think most commenting are just a bunch of posers anyways. I have actually been on some of these trails in Moab.
No pigs do not sweat, if you are asking about swine, not just big fat piggies like me, I sweat. Pigs hang out on mud to cool off they will pant also, but if you see that get the slaughter tools ready because you are close to a dead piggy. There are actually certain people that do not have arm pit sweat glands, also no sweat glands in some other places. No joke!! they are from one country also, and some say they also have no soul! You make a ram look good, used to be cool trucks then they went to hell, maybe coming back from hells canyon will help them.
Super torture test. It didn't look like the oil was in bad share from the trip to and from Moab and the off road adventure. Thanks for sharing Andre and TFL Truck. Enjoyed the video.
What!! Another awesome off-road video. You guys are my absolute favorite you tube channel by far. Keep up the great content. That Ram Rebel looks really nice the way you guys built it. Of course my love will always be with Jeep. How about a CJ-5 build 👍
We were just in Moab last week for mountain biking but we took a day to go four wheeling and did Fins and Things and Hell's Revenge. About 20 minutes into Hell's Revenge we came across an injured mountain biker so we rescued her out and didn't have enough time to go back and finish it but that place is fun.
During the Chin Scratch I kept imagining Beavis being there yelling to Andre "Do it! Do it Butthead! Heh, heh" You should do this again with the Ecodiesel Rebel!
Great video as always, guys! Reminded me a bit an old Chuck Norris film - awesome Ram you built there! Is the new Shell oil will work on older gas powered pickups (I have a '95 GMC sierra with a 350, 4x4) or will they have the correct viscosity for older gas engines ?
110 f is 43C, that's just a walk in the park for cars in Oman. We off-roading when its 48 c outside. Only thing I won't do in that heat is sand dunes as that puts too much strain on the driver. I used to do this in a Sequoia and now in a Ranger Wildtrak
im more impressed by the old VW not blowing up than the new Ram Rebel ... now if you really want to test a coolant system just drive in rush hour traffic in Phoenix in the summer, nothing like stop and go traffic to test the ability of a radiator
I love TFL! ya'lls videos have gained so much production value over the last 6 years!!!!! i love it!!! 100F - 110F that's our typical summer here in El Paso, TX. I do feel your pain. However, you are doing an excellent job. Keep up the hard work. Best regards !
They did a video comparing the A/C in the ram to the one on the f150 and the ran was blowing 5-10 degrees warmer air. So I could see why some people would say it was weak
Yup, there is a lot of complaints about weak A/C out of the new RAM, though the fix is easy for those you want it. They simply install a valve on the line that goes to the heater, turn the valve off. The A/C will drop to 45F, really freaking cold. When winter comes along and you want the heater, turn the valve back on. I have a new Rebel, my A/C feels slight weaker than my 2015 F150, however once it gets going, I don't have an issue with it. But I live in San Diego, temps don't get much higher than 90F in the summer where I live.
gpage ford actually makes a vacuum actuated valve that I installed on my older ‘99 f250....it’s crazy the difference it makes without the heater core circulating coolant....it closes the coolant flow off on max A/C only really cool setup.
I am glad that Shell paid for this trip, but I am going to stick with Mobil 1 in my 3.5L EcoBoost motors. I have not had an engine problem with this oil in the last 20 years that I have used it in my vehicles.
My truck been in 120 degrees it’s an 02 f150 with a 4.6l triton been pushed to the limits never had an engine or trans issue till I bought the wrong transmission fluid and fried the trans
Hey that oil pressure needs to be a lot higher than that at idle. it should be 35psi. you may want to investigate and see if it needs a bigger oil pan that holds more oil when you are on steep angles that way the oil pickup tube can pick up that oil in the bottom of the oil pan.
I don't mind the shell advertisement. Just like TFL Truck and ALL the Crew!!! Nice video and keep them coming. As i said before: Greetings from BRAZIL BOYS!

hello andre and roman how are use, let start by saying thank u all for bringing use very informative information on the topics we all love, because of the great info I have found out from the TFLTruck channel it has helped me in my decision making and a few months ago I purchased my 2019 ram rebel and am very happy with my decision, however I do have one question that I need help from the tfl, I want to buy a set of the fox shocks that andre put on the rebel rouser but can't find out anything about them, can u please give any info as to where I could buy some please and thank u for any help. and keep up the fun and informative info....I love it.
DUDE THAT IS NOT A TOUGH COURSE..I ROUTINELY TOOK MY 89 RAMCHARGER THROUGH AREAS THAT MOST WOULD NOT TAKE ANY 4X4 THROUGH..WITH NO AFTER MARKET ADD ONS..MY TEAM FORDED A CREEK THAT WAS 3 FEET DEEP IN WATER AND OVER A FOOT OF SLOPPY MUD UNDER THAT. THEN CRAWLED OUT AND 1/2 MILE UP A HILL SO STEEP THE ONLY WAY TO SEE WHERE I WAS GOING WAS TO LOOK OUT THE DRIVERS SIDE WINDOW..ONCE ON TOP THE FLAT AREA WAS FILLED WITH 3 FOOT DEEP HOLES..THE ONLY THING I NEEDED TO DO WAS HAVE MY TRUCK WASHED AFTER WE WERE OFF DUTY..
Why dont you guys do more than just rock climbing? Bring the truck to South Dakota, where the military brought the hmmv to prove they can't get stuck and they did. So your test are 100% accurate

Interested in seeing your results. Currently using Shell Rotella Gas Truck 0w-20 in my 2017 Toyota Tacoma 3.5l V-6.
You should also send an oil sample to Blackstone Labs and compare their results with those of Shell.
Agreed it would be cool to see if they come up with the same results.
I like the series, but I'm not a fan of that black "back rack" behind the cab, looks very cheap, I think the chevy avalanche wore that style out.
Lol you obviously didn't see the trucks back in the 90s. Or late 80s.
It's Baja style bro you ever been to dunes??
