BDS, I can’t find a shop who is willing to put in the labor or time into this lift. I went to your site, searched in your “find an installer” tool and none of them will do this lift. From Southeast Missouri, anywhere you all have a good working relationship with that will do this lift?
I like BDS & Zone, but please tell me why I should spend more on your 4” kit vs the competitors 5” kit. Reviews “in the wild” for the competitors kit have been great the last couple years. Your kit has been slow to ship (back ordered) and slow to market (2020 is finally available, but 2021 is not, correct?). I’ve seen several base their purchase decision on those factors (height/cost/ship time) who really wanted to go BDS, but just couldn’t justify it - and are happy with their choice.
@@calebmendoza9996 I ended up with the 5” from the other guys and am happy. There is a 3rd company now making a true 6” kit for these allegedly. Haven’t seen one or know anyone that got one - but they’re out there.
So how many hours of labour should a shop charge on this specific kit? Currently doing this kit at work and I’m pretty sure they undercharged for labour
I don’t know if anybody noticed but while he is disconnecting the brake lines and caliper in the first seven minutes of the video the new lift kit is already installed. You can see the crossmember and the new cast iron knuckles in every shot. Lol
Hey BDS Suspension, how would this 4" lift with air ride work on my 2019 rebel? The truck comes stock with a 1" factory lift so would I be getting an additional inch with your kit or would I technically only be getting a 3" lift over factory?
Is this video demonstrating a new kit for the 2020 Ram 1500's with air suspension or is the kit being installed the 2019 kit? BDS has stated that there is no current 2020 kit available for Ram 1500 with air suspension.
I’m also in the same boat. I’m looking to lift my 2020 rebel but they do not have a kit available for it yet. I have my wheels, tires, lug nuts all ready to go but it seems like it’ll be a while.
Hey BDS I'm very interested in 4 inch lift on my '19 rebel air suspension. Heard great things about the lift. My question is would my air bags work exactly the same as stock after lift? And would it make it any difference to ride quality? I'm thinking 35's with 20's rims. My concern is lot of people say after the lift trucks ride quality isn't even close to factory ride quality?
@kamb8664 I have a 19 Limited with the air ride and a 5” lift kit from Rough Country and it works just fine I have it on 22x12 -44 with 35’s and they rub just a bit
I just got the 4” Bds lift on my 2021 ram 1500 limited but the front end sits 1” higher than rear? I really don’t like the nose up look. What could the issue be? Also watching your video towards the end you mentioned tighten up once on ground to let suspension settle. Could this cause it ? I didn’t do it my self but a good shop in town does a lot of them and just trying to figure out why I’m higher in front then back. I measured my truck before the lift and I was normal 1” rake.
There are a number of factors that could affect ride height and its difficult to diagnose over the internet. I'd recommend heading back to the shop that installed it to start the conversation with them before reaching out to our tech support team with photos, measurements, etc
We only offer a 4" lift height for the Air Ride trucks. Reason being our IFS base kits is designed to correct suspension - steering - driveline geometry at 4-6" of lift and due to the adjustable ride height modes on AirRide trucks he offroad modes can set the truck up at the equivalent of a 6" lift kit
sure, it'll just limit the tire size that'll fit and may require some additional trimming. 26x14 wheels is outside of what we have test fit and ultimately outside of our recommended specs, but it can be done.
Hey Jordan, I just had this lift installed at one of your authorize dealers. I noticed a couple of things that I'm not sure it's normal after the truck is lifted. Can you advice if your experience similar things or provide your feed bakc on it. 1. I noticed the airbags working a lot harder trying to level the truck out to the point that the pressure is release through the release valve. 2. I noticed that that when my truck sits for a while or over night, the truck adjust/lower about 2 inches from regular mode.
Yes, the differential is relocated on the GM1500 4"/6" kits to keep the CVs at a good operating angle. Check out the GM1500 install video for more info ruclips.net/video/YlafSURMkV0/видео.html

Where is your garage located and how do I go about getting g an appointment...
Pretty cool concept , kinda similar to bowtechs dead lock but a new twist on it and your adjustments are by the limb unless I’m mistaken
Wow thank you so much for this vid.long over due.i have posted it on some of the ram sites and forums🤩👍❗

Is there any word yet if this kit works on the 21 model year?
