The 70 is misleading. It's just a number and has nothing to do with the actual torque rating. Rams also have the 8hp75 which is rated higher for torque, but doesn't mean 750 lb/ft.

I’ve never seen a 5.7 hemi making over 8-9 pounds of boost. the ZF8hp70 transmission is only rated to 700hp hence the “70” I’ve seen Honda civics that can handle more torque than these trucks. Incredible hemi sheared an input shaft to prove it.
the 5th gen 1500’s have the zf8hp75 can handle 800hp. civics and silverados are cheap, easy, and everyone can make them fast. it’s not everyday you see the ol tried and true hemi with a supercharger let alone any aftermarket at all. the civic and the ram are totally different classes like comparing apples to oranges. and silverado and ram and kinda the same except gm has always gotten way more aftermarket love than the 5.7’s
The 70 is misleading. It's just a number and has nothing to do with the actual torque rating. Rams also have the 8hp75 which is rated higher for torque, but doesn't mean 750 lb/ft.
I feel sorry for the owner of this truck that let these guys even breathe around their vehicle 😂
All I heard they say was “it’s difficult to dyno” the whole time and that tells me that you probably don’t want to take your vehicle here to get work done
God that Hemi sounds good 👍👍
Anymore vids of this truck?
Which supercharger setup is that. I have a 2019 limited and can’t find it on the whippel site for that year
Any future vids of it on the road?
How much does this cost to do?
Can I supercharge my 2021 Ram with the Etorque?
Not a dodge anymore...it's just a Ram!
The center console is bigger than the Denali 😂 it opens up further than what he shows and it goes back and forth. I would have bought a 1500 rst but boy my new ram is just better 😂 I was sold for months on the rst but I sat in and drove the ram not even close in my opinion.
Link shows supercharger up to 2018 old body style...
cab is the same used as 09-18 just front end changed and interior outer exterior stayed the same doors will all bolt up to the 19 and 20
To the people that’s saying stop calling it a dodge, isn’t RAM the name that dodge gave it? Doesn’t Dodge make it still ? Just curious...
No. Ram is it's own brand now.
Litterally up until last year they still gave you key fobs that said Dodge when picking up the new 1500 (I was with my buddy when he picked it up so don't even try to @ me)
While it technically is its own brand, they are still pretty much made by the same people, under the same umbrella. Dodge, ~RAM, and Jeep. Internals are literally the same, and the same guys are overseeing them all pretty much.
Everyone jumping on the name are literally babies trying to act like they know something. Don't mind them. Run into anyone that's actually been around for some time and many of us still call in a Dodge.
@@MaddJakd no they didn't. It said RAM on the fob. I had a 19 and now a 2020 RAM.
@@MaddJakd my fathers 2015 and 18 rams both say Ram on the fobs, anyway the only thing is you can’t look up parts for dodge rams past 2013. If looking up parts you need to search Ram as the make and 1500/2500/3500 as the model
@@goodinsrt8 my 17 said Ram on the key fob. Also it is owned by Stellantis now.
I just wish the 5.7 was capable of more boost on stock engine. Kinda hard to swallow the $10k pill for boost when a 5.0 makes about double the power 😭
Yeah I agree but , it sounds nice for sure 💯 . It would be better if it had the 6.4 engine with 475 hp to start from the factory and then add that Whipple those numbers would be very impressive 👍💯
@@keepout7439 I agree. But it saddens me that they give the 6.4 a forged crank, but not forged rods and pistons. Limited on boost there too.
@@TonyTheTruckGuy forged pistons and rods would be Awesome 💯 , had to be some ideal behind that decision from Dodge🤔🤔 , maybe so they could keep the HellCat 6.2 engine different for the purpose of selling more vehicles 🤔??
@@keepout7439 Probably
Ok this kit does fit the new 2019 new body as well?
Nice video and install. Numbers are more around 40-45% gain.
Definitely gonna drop my gto off here for some work
I’d love to see a ram 2500 or 3500 6.4 hemi with a whipple 3.0 or 3.8 whipple if possible to make 600 whp only and with full exhaust and headers intake tb tune is say 800whp with heads and cam as well easy cause 6.4 make 410 hp 429 tq vs 5.7 like my 18 does 395hp/400tq
A 2.9L Whipple flows enough for north of 1,000hp alone. Adding more N/a power will require less boost and stress on the motor. 💪🏻

Is this an installation that can be done my moderate gear heads? Any other kids to accommodate... like tune/computer etc? Thanks.
10:18 I didn't know RAM made Dodge trucks. The RAM is such an awesome truck. The knob is better than the crowbar column shifter but RAM should have put a console shifter they way that truck is so bad ass, a console shift like the new 700 HP RAM truck would have been so great in that truck.
they did this year gt package comes with paddle shifters and console shift
What would that ram get if it was tuned by someone else?
Denali doesnt compete with Ram laramie or limited. It competes with big horn models as of now lol
Now race it against the Ford raptor. 450hp vs 450hp. I need to see this.
Also your looking at 450 whp on ram and 450 crank hp on raptor but i still want to see it anyway
@@timellis2217 I want to buy the 2021 ram rebel but up the power and torque. I wish they would put a stronger engine in for the new models like the 392 hemi or 6.4. The 1500s can handle it and has room for it.
I wish they would to thats 475 hp in a 1500 or 2500/3500
How much boost? And any work done to the bottom end?
Did you delete the mds system ? Would this be reliable without deleting the mds
Don’t you ever in your life call it a Dodge Ram again!!!! Lmao
I correct my wife all the time yet do it all the time myself 😂😂
Do y'all have footage on the road?
What kind of supercharger is it like the specifications
GM trucks don't have nothing on the Ram' s period. Ford trucks are the next best option 2me. lol
yup ram first and ford 2nd best trucks on todays market
you don't see many chevys on the road because there garbage only chevy ill drive is the obs trucks
The great thing about it, they are all great trucks and competition is good for us!
Does it fit on a similar year 6.4 Ram 2500?
I have the same truck could you make it 500hp???
I have 2019 ram rebel with 5.7, how do you keep it from up shifting so frequently
I guess shifting manually
That's a hopelessly optimistic baseline 😂
What about doing a transmission tune?
Am I the only one that noticed that the truck is not ratchet strapped down to the dyno.... just 1 wheel chock that I could see.... idk I've just never seen a vehicle on a dyno not strapped down.
It is. But we don't strap to the wheels.
GMs are much nicer than rams if you are looking for more of a rubbermaid container type interior.
