When I bought my 2019 RAM 1500 5.7L Longhorn, one of the things I made sure to get is 3.92's. My truck is all stock right now though, and I'm convinced that 3.92's are great (maybe even best) for stock street truck.

Some say use the 6.4 injectors for better fuel I don't know if I should use my 5.7 injectors or the 6.4 injectors I know I need to get another tune that's $250 from Moe's

If I was starting over id go 4k stall with engine and trans tune. That will run 7.9s easy in the 8th mile. 3rd gear and beyond is where the cam and 6.4 intake helps.

Can't afford a dedicated mod vehicle, need a truck, family hauler, horse hauler, commuter, and something to scratch that performance itch haha. Figure that stuff is mild enough not to hurt anything including my bank account.
Cam, throttle body, torque converter, headers, manifold, tune, whipple, intake, exhaust… just get the hellcrate and drop it in, it’ll be cheaper and comes with warranty 😂
The amount of money spent on Kong can buy a TRX. Dodge Life ain't cheap. Having said that, the only difference I would do on a 5.7 is turbo, drop in rods/pistons, cam, aftermarket EFI and fuel system, Circle D convertor and tuning. Flex fuel the system.

So on the long tube headers im in MA (strict inspection) i have run into muffler shops not wanting to install due to if i failed inspection with that said have you had any engine lights or inspection issues with your truck ?

This guy should have just bought a trx in the first place. The 1st year they came out one could get one for 75k without every option. It would have been faster and prevented wasting time and money on a pos. Factory knows how to properly program and engineer the trx unlike the countless builders and tuners that can never match factory.
There are tons of builders and tuners that can blow away anything the factory has ever done because they don't have to meet the same specs and standards as an oem. That's just a dumb statement.

Do u find the throttle body spacer makes any difference? I’m thinking about getting a bbk throttle body instead of running the spacers

Something's wrong in your setup, you should be cracking into the 12's with that.

Maybe for some of us the fun is in the build. I'm not necessarily trying to take my 5.7 to 650- 700, but it's always fun to have a project.
