I knew Hoss was a car guy because he owned a '65 Z-16 Chevelle, but I didn't know he owned race cars too. Some great automotive history in this video Lou. The K story cracked me up! What continues to amaze me is how many incredible cars are still in garages in ordinary neighborhoods. Awesome video Lou!!!
Hi Tom (and JudyAnn), My pleasure sharing this one with you. Ahhh the rare 1965 Z-16. Here is one for you, Lou ruclips.net/video/6tCCV2b0iME/видео.html
Hi Robert, Happy to read this car brings back memories of when you saw broadcasts of this car :-) Thank you for viewing, sharing, and you're welcome, Lou
It's a great car with a great history, and it looked like a fun ride, too. And thanks for the story about the K, Lou! What a unique way to get the curious onto the showroom floor. 👍👍
Its amazing it really is, awesome to look down the front and then see the venturis sticking up in a row. Two seats too is not common today. It looks straight outta Speed Racer.
WOW! You talk about bending the rules. Putting a plate on a genuine race car, and cruising the neighborhood is so badass. How does he not give it a goose, is total restraint.
Great car and the history of it. I live near South Bend Indiana but listened to Chicago radio WLS and WCFL as a kid in the 60s and 70s. I vividly remember the Nickey commercials along with Mr. Norm's Grand Spalding Dodge. I always wondered where the backwards "K" came from, along with their slogan. Home of the Backwards K". Very interesting also, on how his family acquired the dealership.

One of the most unique cars you’ve done-

Awesome. I bet that thing can really scoot. Looks very light.
Looks like out of Speed Racer.
How do you find these cars and these amazing stewards of these amazing cars and stories?
I seek, I find, and I share with you :-)
I remember this car and DB at Monterey. I was wondering wasn't Can-Am at that time call USRRC?
So when did it go from a 4 speed to a 5 speed and perhaps back again?
Super cool 😎! But not exactly street legal!😊
You get a short spin around the block once or twice per summer, any more than that risks a ticket.
Ho guardato questo video e ho capito che ho bisogno di un nuovo modo per tirarmi su di morale: più video divertenti😻
Happy to read you enjoyed this video :-)
