Wow, this was an amazing video!! I watched the whole thing and I don't even own a Ram, neither do I have any interest in a lift kit for my truck. But it held my full attention the whole time! Having done big projects like this I know how much effort it takes to film it all step by step, and specially to edit it in such a way that it keeps things interesting. Very well done! And I love that you showed that it's totally doable with regular tools in the driveway! (except for the front struts) I also liked that this lift kit provided literally EVERYTHING you need for this. There were several moments where I thought "oh great, now what?" and then boom you pulled out the provided brackets and hardware. Perfect! Also, I like the fact that the RC Lift Kit brings all the bushings for all the arms back to stock pretty much. So the front arms and the rear trailing arms aren't under extra tension like they were with the leveling kit. Much better long-term! Awesome job overall! Well done! I'm actually curious to see some pictures of the truck with the big tires and all! Oh and I just now noticed, you're wearing a New England Drone Tours shirt in the voice over haha, nice touch ;)
Awesome! Thank you! Yes it was so much to edit this vide. I think it took longer than the actual job. It looks and rides great now. I will do an updated video with the bigger 37” tires. 😁👍
serious shout out would not have got this done without this guy. He goes in depth and shows himself doing it all unlike a lot of other videos. Props man🙌
Rough country makes a descendant lift kit . I put one on my 2013 grand Cherokee works great and it was cheaper then replacing front struts as it came with front struts and rear coils and shocks 👍🏻👊🏻
Bro…. Needed to see this for motivation 😂. Thanks. Learned some tips here. My future goal is 3.5 but you did a 6”… i was unsure if this was doable in a driveway.
Was look into getting a 2020 Big Horn and was just checking to see how they look lifted and came across this video…watched it all and don’t even have the truck yet 🤣 but dammmm sick ass work bro! Truck looks solid!!! Great work, new subscriber now! 😎
Awesome! Thank you! This was a lot of work but I’m enjoyed it. Overall not too hard just a lot. the truck looks and rides great after. I’m impressed with this kit they did a good job. 👍
If you get a 2025 1500 with the inline 6, the top differential bolts are even worse. I have been under my truck for 40 minutes. If I am lucky I get a 12th of a turn at a time.
How long did it take?I'm getting ready to do mine 20 ram 1500 4x4 big horn....rough country 6 inch with front coil over assembly and progressive rear springs...also front upper control arms....wheels atr anthem rogue 20x12 -44 nitto recon grapplers 35 13.50 20.
I would say it took me about three weeks. That’s only doing it for about an 1-2 hours a night. And I did it all myself no helpers plus filming so that slows it down a little. I would think if you had three or four helpers you could probably do it in about 2 days. obviously depends how fast you’re working.
Stock uppers? I did the same 6 inch on my 2011 and im having positive camber issues, cant get it to zer0 out but i have aftermarket uppers for a 2 to 4 inch lift wondering if thats where i went wrong?
It could be. That’s good to know. This one needs upper ball joints now. We were thinking of using those control arms. Probably just go with stock ones.
@@AndyTheXTechI started mine Friday and did like 5 hours, then today I worked on it for 9 hours and I'm almost done with the front. But I did those whole 9 hours without stopping for anything 😊😮
Actual was a couple weeks. Only working on it about an hour or two a night. I would guess total about 20-25 hours. But also I was filming it. so set up, moving around and talking took up some time.
Put some grease around the c clip and center the c clip as best you can. The grease will hold it. Slide it in and give it a shove and it should go in. If not take a rubber mallot and tap it in and itll go
It started with a 3in leveling kit and 35in tires. After the 6in lift kit we put 37in tires on. They rubbed a little. had to make some slight modifications.

Installing the 4" kit under my 2017 now. I have to get a spring compressor tomorrow. The videos are far better than the actual RC instructions
Andy The X Tech.. Definitely a job worth doing. I want to lift my 2020 Ram. Thanks for sharing the install with us.
Your welcome! I’m surprised how well the truck rides after. Great kit! 👍
This is Ryan, the X Tech and i concur on these strategies. Probably another great tech this crap industry has lost.
Hi Ryan. Yes 👍
very impressive that's defiantly a lot of steps but the truck looked great in the end
Great video i watched the whole thing from start to finish
Awesome! That’s a lot. Thank you! I had fun making the video and working on the truck. 😁👍
Nice! I have the 4 inch RC lift on my ram 1500 and love it. No issues.
Yes they make a great kit. I’m happy with the way it came out.

Yes I’m impressed with it. Lots to install but well built and the truck rides great.

Awesome! Ya it wasn’t to bad. It rides great after. 😁👍
Love love love it!
Awesome!!! Thanks Dude!

Thank you! It took a long time but I had fun doing it. 👍
How does it feel after a year of use? Has it changed negatively from when it was new or do you wish you had installed a more expensive kit?

That’s horrible. I couldn’t believe when I saw these. Even the dodge guys I know didn’t even have any great tricks to get them out.
@AndyTheXTech It was a chore for sure! I thought surely I'd find a way, but I wasted a lot of time realizing there is no better way haha.

Thank you! 👍
I know this is a late comment but is the 2wd lift kit a little easier to put on due to not having CV joints?
How did the 37's fit? Any trimming? What size and backspace wheels did you use?
They still rubbed a little. Had to bend some or trim a little. But over all they were good. The truck rides great and looks awesome. 👍
So I’m assuming it’s not a big deal if the lift doesn’t sit at the same height going laterally across
Not really. It’s minimal. Truck looks great and rides amazing.
How can I make the front higher than the rear?
Stock uppers? I did the same 6 inch on my 2011 and im having positive camber issues, cant get it to zer0 out but i have aftermarket uppers for a 2 to 4 inch lift wondering if thats where i went wrong?

What were your starting measurements before the lift?
It’s in the video.
@@AndyTheXTech Thanks. not sure how I missed that.
Man this was a lot of work
Ya it took a long time. Only working weekends and about 1-2 hours a night during the week.

Im having trouble getting my cv axles fully seated into the diff, any tips?

Are those 33 in tires

I mean 2in leveling kit
Can I use this on a 2022 rebel ???
You will have to check with Rough County
This must be a 4 wheel drive
Yes
Wana do mine 😂
It’s so much fun now
